my Fusion :'( Now I have a problem: when I view the recordings via the Quik app, all the files turn green, but the preview and the files on the SD card are fine. The problem only occurs in the app. HELP ME
My only bad gopro experience has been with the Fusion. The camera is/was good, the fusion software was pretty well abandonware while the camera was still very relevant. The current workflows seem more supportive of getting regular video from your 360 camera instead of 360 video / photos. I had resorted to using a mixed workflow involving Garmin's Virb software to get any metadata / gauges integrated into the video. All those other functions have been fine, whatever camera you get just buy several batteries if you're out for extended periods. Spend less on a cutting edge camera and more on supporting it. Cameras have been great for quite a while.
Too bad GoPro still has the best 360 camera in terms of lightweight/small package. Insta360 sucks if you try to mount it under the visor on a helmet, the weight is way too far out front where the GoPro feels a lot more balanced. I’ve been waiting for something better to come out that’s more similar to a GoPro mini size but 360 camera so you can actually get the whole handlebars in the shot when it’s helmet mounted
