"The mistake I made when new was using silicone trays. Thought they save effort on cleaning. Chicken bone in & skin on thighs raw near the bone after recommended cooking time. Took lots of putting back & more cooking. Think eventually it nearer an hour to cook instead of 20 minutes. ... After a few days of such disasters. I realised it’s due to the silicone trays blocking the back Vent holes at the drawer backs. Also blocking air that should come up through the Crisper Plates. Same would have occurred with Parchment Liners. I did try collapsing the Silicone Trays. But they rose up during cooking, so still blocking the air Vents on the Drawers backs."

r/vandwellers • Air fryer? ->I also disagree that these are low quality. I love my Beautiful air fryer. It’s a very pretty air fryer in a field of ugly ass air fryers. And it works great. I’ve had mine for a couple of years and just bought a new, smaller 3 qt for my rental.
