"Now all I use is my air fryer, microwave for frozen veggies and rice cooker. ... I like everything to be as simple as possible, so set it and forget it. Haven't used my stove top or oven since I got the ninja in 2022."
"I think we have the ninja foodie 10 in 1 oven thing and we've only used our real oven like twice since we got it and that was entirely because the pizza was too big. ... There's something great about being like "yes, cook my burrito at 400 for 29 minutes and then shut off" that makes it so useful. Well setup food and not worry at all about it being done because it always is. ... But really being able to setup the oven and just let the timer handle it is the bees knees."
"probably use it for 80% of our meals ... it is great"

"it cooks a whole roaster chicken extremely nicely ... you can fit a whole roaster chicken extremely- it keeps it extremely juicy"
"it air fries very well ... you can air fry on 3 levels to sorta control how crisp you want things."
"It’s also amazing at air frying Brussel sprouts!"

"A two-person tent for a solo traveler makes stuff management SO much easier. ... When you have a one-person tent, its interior space is gonna be pretty close to the footprint of your sleeping pad, meaning A) it's impossible to lay out the stuff you need at night in an organized way such that you know where it is at all times, and 2) loose objects like an AirPod or whatever are gonna get misplaced and tend to end up under your sleeping pad, which means you have to sit up and dig around under there to find it. This is a constant hassle, a huge pain in the ass."
"I picked up my 10x10' - sleeps 4 VERY comfortably and you can stand up and get dressed for $400 used. ... I don't recommend anything else for car camping."
"We had a rainy trip one year and having the extra room to hang out in the tent playing board games made the kids happy."

"it's so much easier to throw something in, set program, timer, and temperature, and just wait for the BEEEEP that tells you that dinner's ready."
"Large knob’s and easy to use"
"And also, it's easier to clean. The whole base of mine just slides out and goes in the dishwasher."

"I have one of these and I LOVE LOVE LOVE it. ... As a counter top convection oven it kicks ass. ... Heats up fast and bakes and broils just as good as my fancy built in ovens."
"Preheats WAY faster than the big oven."
"in significantly shorter time"

"I have constant smoking issues while using the air fry function. ... Even using foil, still smokes like a chimney."
"Ours smoked terribly since day one. ... Sets of the smoke alarm."
"I HAAATE how short it is, you have like a 3in. height limit for anything you want to cook lol ... I mean really if whatever I'm cooking is even 2 inches tall, I feel like it'll be too close to the coils at the top and it'll burn 😅 ... I used to eat a lot of frozen stuffed chicken breasts and I think those would be too tall and get burned, especially being in there for like 30+ minutes that close to the burners. or this one time when I wanted to air fry some fat ass enchiladas I had cooked the day before, those things were chuuunky! Or toasting up some french bread for sandwiches!"

"It’s not as good as my cheap dedicated air fryer. ... I think it’s too big and the air doesn’t circulate as fast."
"as an air fryer, it performs mediocre. ... Dedicated air fryers yield better results as far as making things like chicken wings crispy and tasting like they were deep fried."
"It actually doesn't work *that* well as an air fryer since you can't put anything in the basket that will drip"
With minor adjustments to temperatures you can have oven quality meals without having to preheat the oven and accidentally heat up your house in the process. I googled your model and it is on the small side. If it can't fit a turkey, it's probably not worth the $250 they spent on it. FWIW though, leftovers *are* better in an air fryer once you know what you're doing with the temperature controls.
I use a Breville oven/airfryer. It is a mini oven that is just big enough for a small turkey. I use 2 of them in my kitchen actually, we have no full sized oven and we are a family of 5.
I have that exact same air fryer and I use it pretty much daily. It uses less electricity and less heat in my space. I use it for reheating pizza and fries. It's my favorite way to make toast, especially if the loaf is a round sourdough. I use it for making my own egg bites and breakfast wraps. It's amazing for roasting veggies. I love making nachos and loaded fries. It's quicker than the oven and heats faster. You should keep it.
We have the exact same model as they ordered you. We LOVE IT. I’ve had toaster ovens my whole life. This thing is hands down the BEST appliance I’ve ever owned. LOVE IT!!!
Breville, costly but it works so well. Replaced a cuisinart x2. Big but worth it. Can cook two layers at the same time.
This is the answer. My breville has over taken my oven. Unless I'm roasting a Turkey there isn't much that I do in the oven any more.
I absolutely adore my Breville Smart. It has replaced my oven. However, I do use the basket style air fryers for air frying. Far superior results for actual air frying. The Breville can do a good job of air frying, but because you have to protect the elements the heat can’t get to the food properly. If you don’t put something underneath a drippy food it’s a really bad scene.
I have a Breville smartoven with air-fry function. It gets 90% of the air frying results, but can do far more other things, like bake, roast, dehydrate, broil...
A high end countertop (toaster) oven with airfry function (eg Breville smart oven) will be.FAR more versatile for you.
Because they will airfry, but they will also do everything a big oven can in terms of baking, roasting, broiling, etc. Some of them even have features such as keep warm and dehydrate. Since I purchased my Breville unit, I rarely use my full size oven unless I need to do something really large (Ie a turkey).
I have the brass one in white, it is so beautiful and functional. Unfortunately, it does not fit the 5.5qt Dutch oven and the 3.5qt braiser.
Is this the Breville Smart Oven? I have that and I have constant smoking issues while using the air fry function. Even using foil, still smokes like a chimney. Love it otherwise, especially for the reheat setting. Almost makes the microwave obsolete.
