"The build quality is amazing, thing is a tank (99% sure it could stop a bullet). ... I have it for 5-6 years now, pretty much bought it right after release and its still every bit as good as it was out of the box. ... And I use it day and night, summer and winter, water or ice, be it +30C or -30C whatever."

"Been using them for about four years working out in my gym, and cycling daily (45+ minutes on a bicycle outdoors)."

"They last absolutely forever (I know 1980s models still in daily use)"

"it's so much easier to throw something in, set program, timer, and temperature, and just wait for the BEEEEP that tells you that dinner's ready."

"Large knob’s and easy to use"

"And also, it's easier to clean. The whole base of mine just slides out and goes in the dishwasher."

"chicken is gross on that one I learned."

"The Breville air fry mode is its worst mode. ... It doesn’t air fry at all. ... Makes veggies soggy and doesn’t work like a real air fryer."

"Mine is garbage for toasting ... Eight minutes and turn it to the darkest setting! 🤣"

"Does a poor job of air frying. ... Does not get things crispy."

"However it is not very good at making toast, so don’t replace your toaster."

"not worth it for the sheer size of the Foodi. It's a beast and very heavy. ... Yeah this is the same reason I don't really use my Foodi."

"I need the space on top of my induction for the extractor fan for the steamer as I steam eggs every day - so the ninja is now in a cupboard."

We have a Breville Air Fryer/Toaster Oven combo. Purchased at Wal-Mart. I Love it - It gets used everyday!

Another vote for Breville. Have one of the smart ovens, and it's been used daily (sometimes multiple times a day) for a little over a year now without issue. It's been flawless. It's so good that my full size oven is rarely used.

Second this. Mine exactly fits a 9x13 pan with handles, which is perfect. However it is not very good at making toast, so don’t replace your toaster. However I have heard mixed reliability; I don’t expect it to last “for life” but barring a lemon, it would definitely last more than a year. Mine is three or four years old, used at least five times a week, and still doing fine.

Breville counter top. Love mine, I haven’t used my oven since I got it. We keep the house very cool and the proof setting for bread is a game changer. Roasted veggies awesome

I gave up on air fryers after consistently getting stinky ones with burning plastic smell that never improved. Finally got the breville toaster with air fryer functionality. It s slower than an air fryer, but a lot more versatile. I use it instead of oven in summer. Also a lot faster to heat up even in winter.

LOVE (mostly) the Breville toaster ovens, and they have models that do air fry. I'm certain they'll do a great job at that. First one died after 2-3 years. Figured no big deal to fix - the fan sounded like a bearing was shot. Two issues: 1) the damned thing is impossible to disassemble (and I'm pretty good at that sort of thing) and 2) parts are complete unobtanium. But the effing thing is so good at what it does and we use it so often (probably twice a day) that I bit the bullet and just got another one. Not sure how it would replace a microwave, though.

Yup 100%. We use it almost everyday instead of a traditional oven as a traditional oven takes a long time to heat up. If I had a do-over I’d get the larger Breville unit. Also we don’t have a microwave. I just huck stuff in the Breville and set the timer and forget it. I’ve never done much raw stuff in it other than to roast vegetables. But works great for that as well.
