Chefman turbofry touch dual air fryer from Amazon. We are about a month in and I love it so much.
My first air fryer was Cosori 2qt, broke after several months and I had a brand new replacement in less than a week directly from Cosori. Excellent customer service and the replacement still works although I have replaced it with a 6qt Chefman, which so far had been excellent. I really like the Hi-Fry feature which blasts the food with 450 degrees for the last 2 minutes to give some extra crunchiness to food, and it works.
Y'all are making me question my feelings...I actually don't like my air fryer... ☹️ To be fair, I did not choose the air fryer I have so it's possible I would enjoy it more if I picked the model. I have never liked cooking and tend to avoid it. It's just such a hassle! Why am I taking time to prep food and make a mess just to feed myself? Anyway, my husband gave me the air fryer since I had expressed interest in using one (for the record, he usually cooks). I've used it about 5 times in the years since. To me, the basket is clunky. It's kinda heavy and messy; that's even with using parchment paper/covers. There are always little bits leftover. Frankly, I find it easier to use my regular oven to make things. It takes almost as long and the sheet pan with parchment paper is easier to clean for me. Don't get me wrong, I definitely need to clean the oven out but I'm using my microwave plenty so I'm sure it's fine... I'm perfectly happy with how everything tastes too. I don't know; maybe I'm doing it wrong because, even following directions, my food is not crispy coming out of the air fryer (it's often dry though). When it comes to timing, I just tell my Alexa how long to see a timer for and since I have multiple Echo devices, I don't miss the timer going off. Possibly because I'm typically using one appliance at a time, it's easy enough for me to turn off my oven as soon as it's done. It's like turning off my video game systems when I'm finished gaming: I switch the setting from "bake" to "off", then the temp to "off" just like closing the software before putting the system to sleep. As a side note, my oven is old and has knobs, not buttons. For reference, my Air Fryer is a Chefman Turbo Fry. *Edited to add extra info after reading other posts.
The convection style air fryers that look like mini ovens don’t air fry as well as the basket fryers. The only exception is the instant pot vortex plus that still utilizes the top down fan. So keep that in mind as the oven style ones will take longer to crisp things up (bigger size with a weaker fan). All are pretty difficult to clean but I would avoid the ninja flip for that reason, it has heating coils that are impossible to clean under and will look terrible pretty quickly if you don’t deep clean after every use (depending on what you are cooking). Toasting is also better from a dedicated toaster, I find it dries out the bread too much in the oven. I personally have the cosori ceramic now since it’s easier to clean but honestly the cheap chefman basket style air fryer I bought for 30$ back in the day was a much better air fryer, most air fryer directions I think are for basket style as the oven style I need to keep it running for quite a few more minutes at a higher temp to get it crispy
I’ve never used the instant pot air fryer lid myself (although I do have an instant pot), my main concern for it is not having any airflow underneath the food, but I see from the product details it does have a fryer basket which basically turns it into a large basket style air fryer which should work better than an oven style convection. The only downside I see is it seems kind of like a pain in the ass to have to assemble it before being able to throw your food in vs just having a dedicated air fryer on the counter, but the upside is it seems a lot easier to clean it all
