Back in May I ordered a COSORI Air Fryer Pro 9-in-1, Compact 5QT. It is now $99.99 on Amazon. I paid about $80. I am very pleased with it.
r/airfryer • Looking to get an air fryer. I live in the USA. Budget is under $100. recommendations? ->I'm an old fogey. I cook for my wife and myself. I have a 5qt Cosori. It's plenty big for us. I will AF burgers, baked potatoes, Grands package biscuits (4 at a time X 2), a couple of chicken breasts. It isn't big enough to cook both the chicken breasts and potatoes. I chose the Cosori that I did because it fit nicely on the counter.
r/airfryer • My advice for buying an air fryer ->In my view air fryer generally does the same thing as convection oven, pluses are much less time to heat up (practically none) and uses way less energy than an oven. Also doesn't heat up the house the same way an oven does, though this can be a positive or a negative thing haha. I've had a cosori 4.6L for 5 years and absolutely love it. It's used almost daily. I almost wish it broke down because I'd have an excuse to buy a slightly bigger version. However there is only 2 of us and it's adequate. Little bigger would be perfect but they weren't that common when I bought mine. Oven only gets used when I want to bake a cake or to make a large pizza or something like that, I'd say barely once every 2 months. To me it saves on cooking time by no preheating and also it does cook things slightly faster but I'd say only by 10% so it's not groundbreaking. Major factor is cost saving. If I could I'd replace my oven with an air fryer the size of a large microwave and live that way. I guess only you will know of it's worth it for you!
r/PlantBasedDiet • Air fryer: Time to buy? Better than convection oven? ->I have the same air fryer and I love it but I feel like I only do frozen items in it. Would you mind sharing your steps/time/temp/recipe for doing chicken breasts?
r/airfryer • My advice for buying an air fryer ->I've got a cosori 4.7ltr and its perfect size, can fit a whole chicken in it,and it's only about£90,check it out on amazon
r/airfryer • Going from Dual to Single Basket? ->Picked up the COSORI Air Fryer Pro 9-in-1 and so far it’s been a nice surprise – big basket, cooks evenly, and the presets actually work. The only thing I’m still unsure about is how durable the non-stick will be after heavy use. Anyone here using it longer term?
r/BuyItForLife • The Best Air Fryer to Buy Now? ->I have the Corsori 9-in-1 that I bought recently after our old one died. I like it so far! The basket is nice and big and has been easier to clean than my old one. If you're into porkchops, Pioneer Woman's recipe for air fryer porkchops is fantastic!
r/toddlers • Easy cooking tools for non-cooks? ->I have found the COSORI branded air fryers from Amazon very accessible. Make sure you get one that says smart with Alexa integration. I can start the air fryer set a temperature etc. using my Alexa devices. The iPhone app is also accessible. No regrets.
r/Blind • Accessible Air Fryer Recommendations ->I used to have a cosori countertop one which was fine but definitely not BIFL. Just moved and new house has in induction range where the oven includes a convection oven which works beautifully as an air fryer and feels pretty sturdy like a well made oven that will last many years
r/BuyItForLife • Can you recommend a BIFL air fryer? ->I have both, Ninja oven style, Cosori basket style. I quit using the oven style 6 months ago. Oven style: Basically a small oven. Only thing it does better is larger pizza, more cookies. It heats from top and bottom, so no flipping. Has window so you can watch stuff burn. More "stuff" gets spattered on all 6 sides, including more fragile heating elements ("stuff" hard to or won't clean off). Can get hot on top. No non-stick. Basket style: Better/stronger circulation. Food cooks faster & gets crisper. It's MUCH easier to clean non stick surfaces (1 minute after each use). Fan is quieter (at least on my Cosori Turbo). A cheap toaster is a must. My Cosori was half the price of the Ninja, does a much better job, and takes up less countertop space.
r/airfryer • Basket or Oven Air Fryer? ->We have a Cuisinart TOA-70 toaster oven that's also a convection oven a.k.a. air fryer and while it is terrific for pizza's and lots of other items, it pales in comparison to our Cosori basket-style air fryer. Truly, there's a dramatic difference in the crisping and overall texture of foods prepped in the Cosori vs. Cuisinart.
