I had been using an older Cosori model 5.5l for a couple of years and recently updated to the dual basket Turbo Tower Pro for extra capacity and the ceramic inside coatings. I was extremely surprised how different the results actually are (I was not expecting any difference). The marketing of the different heating elements etc is definitely true. Everything I do there comes out crispier and much juicier than in my previous air fryer. The double basket has been awesome as well. I love it! As for the smart features, I think they're useless personally. I just don't get the use case. I would've used it more if there were more recipes available but I only have <20 recipes in the Cosori companion app. It seems to limit recipes depending on your region, sucks that they do this.
I’ve had a Cosori 5.5 L for a little over 4 years now and it’s been rock solid, no issues at all. Honestly, it’s one of my top 3 appliances in terms of everyday usefulness. Cleaning hasn’t been a problem either, but I do take care of it and clean it regularly. That said, I’ve definitely had moments where I wished I’d gone bigger, mainly when batch cooking or trying to fit a standard cake tin in there. I was quite interested in the Ninja Crispi Pro after seeing the reviews, but I couldn’t find it available in the UK. Anyway, really appreciate everyone’s inputs on this thread, super helpful 👍
It’s great! I have the white one. I also bought mine after reading all the praises it received. I was skeptical at first, but now that I have it and been using it for about 2 months now, it truly is my new favorite appliance! 😊
We have two. One is a basket style, which we had back when we lived in a condo in downtown. The other is an oven style (11 in 1), which we got as a house warming gift. They’re both corsori, but our basket one is smaller. We’ll maybe use both at the same time if we have people over and want to maximize cooking time. Otherwise it really depends on what we’re cooking. For the most part, the basket one is better at being an airfryer. It’s so much easier to clean, and better for fries IMO. However our 11 in 1 has a rotisserie feature, and when we throw the fries in the basket that spins, we get a very even cook. The annoying part is it’s difficult to clean. I’d say if you are limited by counter space, the multi purpose air fryers may be worth it (versus having a toaster, toaster oven, rotisserie … etc.) However I wouldn’t spend an excessive amount of money on these.
I have a single basket Cosori and have been happy with it. As mentioned, making toast in it leaves you with crispy toast. I have a $12 toaster for toast. I also have an older toaster oven that’s been sitting in my cabinet for 4 years, since I got the air fryer. I haven’t found a need for it that the air fryer couldn’t handle.
I have a Cosori basket. It’s the only air fryer I have ever owned and I am extremely happy with it. I have a toaster oven somewhere, haven’t seen it since the air fryer arrived. I do have a toaster, it’s the best way to make toast.
> Also has advantage of being stainless steel instead of the toxic black teflon with PFA Stainless is good, bhe the cosori air fryer basket is ceramic, not teflon.
I had a Cuisinart like the Breville. It was fine, my first air fryer situation, but I could never reheat right, it cooked weird... I basically used it more for a crispier solution to a microwave. It was fine. Just got the Cosori and I am in LOVE. Largely bc of recommendations here, I decided to go basket and I don't think I'll ever go back.
