We have two. One is a basket style, which we had back when we lived in a condo in downtown. The other is an oven style (11 in 1), which we got as a house warming gift. They’re both corsori, but our basket one is smaller. We’ll maybe use both at the same time if we have people over and want to maximize cooking time. Otherwise it really depends on what we’re cooking. For the most part, the basket one is better at being an airfryer. It’s so much easier to clean, and better for fries IMO. However our 11 in 1 has a rotisserie feature, and when we throw the fries in the basket that spins, we get a very even cook. The annoying part is it’s difficult to clean. I’d say if you are limited by counter space, the multi purpose air fryers may be worth it (versus having a toaster, toaster oven, rotisserie … etc.) However I wouldn’t spend an excessive amount of money on these.
Coloring air fryer/oven does rotisserie and has a rotating basket.
I have a air fryer/oven combo that also does rotisserie and a turning basket for even air frying. I can bake, toast, reheat, etc. It's a Corsori.
I have a small counter too. I bought a Cosori multi function toaster oven. It's 17W x 16H x 16 deep. It Air fries, toasts, broils, dehydrates, bakes, defrosts, roasts, slow cooks and ferments. It also has a pizza setting. Simple to use! Comes with a basket a boiler pan, and a regular rack. I bought this instead of a microwave and I didn't have space for a toaster either, this does it all and only cost $185. when I moved in. I absolutely love this thing and get way more use out of it than a microwave.
I have a Cosori toaster oven style air fryer (some of my kids are all bougie and have Breville and the other a Ninja). All are terrific because they can all make a frozen pizza to perfection. Yes, longer pre-heat compared to a basket...by maybe a minute. My kid with the Ninja XL can make a full dinner with sides all at once for her and her husband, so that versatility is off the charts. I find with the mesh basket tray on my Cosori that I don't have to flip foods and they're much easier to space out to allow the circulation that is the science behind why an air fryer works.
I LOVE my smart oven. Love it. I used to have one by Cosori, but it kept breaking. I mean they were good at replacing it for free and exchanging products for free. But still. So i now have a Ninja Smart Oven: https://a.co/d/5SdpD33 And i absolutely love the thing. Does everything a normal airfryer does and what an oven does and more. Also i love the dual oven section. Ninja does sell a couple different kinds of ovens and airfryers. So look around if you dont like this one
