I don't think it's very noisy. Yes, you can cook with different settings and then sync it so it's done at the same time.
We are very happy with the Cosori Turbo Tower Pro. Fries more evenly than the Ninja because the heating element is on top and not on the back.

CoinsForBSIn a similar situation as you are, I went with the Cosori Tower for preparing two components in parallel...or for having another drawer when one is still in the dishwasher.
If heating is uneven, maybe the device isn't too good? I guess the more horizontal space you have, the more food you can put in without overlapping, making it cook more evenly or not requiring shaking. I read here that you should always go for the biggest one that fits your kitchen, and so far I don't regret it. A single portion of fries fits in perfectly in one of the drawers of my Cosori tower.
