"We’ve had a cuisinart air fryer/toaster oven combo for a couple years and it’s been great. ... We’re a large family and it gets used several times a day. ... It’s a workhorse type appliance ... it should hold up to a decade or two of heavy use pretty easily. ... If it ever breaks I’ll get the same one to replace it."
"Use it daily for over 4 years."
"its about 3 years old, & going strong"

"it’s great. ... Gets the most use out of all the small appliances. ... Can make whole dinners in it for 2 adults."
"way more versatile than a traditional AF ... You can even bake and make toast in it."
"It has functions for cookies, pizza, baking (separate from the cookie function). Like 12 settings, including air fry."

"The Cuisinart to have a control knob that you can control it yourself, you don need to have an app on your phone. ... I like to be in control of all my kitchen appliances, not having to use an app. ... Since I live by myself, it s very critical that I am in control of my cooking appliances."
"much prefer its analog controls to digital ones."

"Times and temps given in the directions don't cook the food correctly. ... I've had to throw out several burnt pizzas."
"it cooks a lot hotter than the setting indicates. ... I know 2 other people with the same oven and they've said the same thing. ... I turn it down about 50 when I'm air baking/frying."
"Yes, we've found that out too. ... I suspect that they set up the settings for a regular toaster oven and didn't factor in the faster cooking because of the blower motor. ... This is something that you learn with trial and error."

"the air frying function in the toaster ovens just doesn't work well."

"I am on my 2nd one as the 1st one failed and was warrantied by Cuisinart. ... Now this one is starting to fail again in the same manner (the rotary control knob jumps around randomly and doesn't increment up or down cleanly) ... After watching a video by [Technology Connections](https://youtu.be/6h9JhW-m35o?si=I_99KK_tbr30_yc) the control board being above the oven is a big achilles heel of these machines. Over time the heat will degrade the operation of things until it becomes inoperable. ... yeah mine started to fail after 2-3 years of use."
"died quickly"
"due to a known manufacturing defect."

"Replaced with the same about a year ago but the construction is a little cheaper. ... On the newer models they used thinner stainless steel and you can hear the metal flex when it heats up or cools down. ... The older model didnt."

Same for us. Very happy with it, but I will say it doesn’t get battered food quite as crispy as some air friers. 2-3x better than a normal oven but a step behind what you see in air fryer videos.
r/BuyItForLife • Best Air Fryers to Buy? ->Negative. Going to a Cuisinart toaster oven/air fryer Not as good at air frying but still really good from what I've read That's good enough for me to have non stick
r/airfryer • Where the hell can one acquire a good stainless steel interior air fryer??? ->I had the Gourmia some years ago and all the basket finished peeled. Then went for a Cuisinart air fryer toaster oven (died quickly) and exchanged it for a Kitchen Aid Air Fryer (great appliance, fair air fryer, very difficult to clean). After days of deep research, I bought the Ninja Flexdrawer 11qt renewed from Amazon and it’s amazing! Amazon recommended a set of silicone inserts which makes cleaning a breeze.
r/airfryer • Going from Dual to Single Basket? ->We have the same brand and have shared this experience. Well made and it is actually a pretty good toaster too.
r/BuyItForLife • Best Air Fryers to Buy? ->We’ve had a cuisinart air fryer/toaster oven combo for a couple years and it’s been great. We’re a large family and it gets used several times a day. It’s a workhorse type appliance and I like that the rack that the food actually touches is stainless steel. If it ever breaks I’ll get the same one to replace it. I’m not sure it’s true bifl just because of the way small appliances are made now but it should hold up to a decade or two of heavy use pretty easily.
r/BuyItForLife • Best Air Fryers to Buy? ->I have a Cuisinart toaster oven/air fryer. I love it but didn't want a dedicated air fryer. I saw one similar to the one (mine is a few years old) I have around Christmas, not sure if it always there.
r/Costco • Air fryer recommendations ->Second this. Our previous one lasted about 5 or 6 years before it just died. Replaced with the same about a year ago but the construction is a little cheaper. On the newer models they used thinner stainless steel and you can hear the metal flex when it heats up or cools down. The older model didnt. Still a great device and much prefer its analog controls to digital ones.
r/BuyItForLife • Best Air Fryers to Buy? ->Our store only carries one or two of the toaster-oven-style air fryers. We picked up the Cuisinart model as we had a Cuisinart toaster oven before and it works fine.
r/Costco • Recommendation for air fryer ->Yes, we've found that out too. I suspect that they set up the settings for a regular toaster oven and didn't factor in the faster cooking because of the blower motor. This is something that you learn with trial and error.
r/Costco • Recommendation for air fryer ->We got the Cuisinart air fryer toaster oven on sale and it’s been really good
r/Costco • Gourmia Countertop Oven with Airfryer ->I too have the Cuisinart and use it often. But note: it cooks a lot hotter than the setting indicates. I know 2 other people with the same oven and they've said the same thing. I turn it down about 50° when I'm air baking/frying.
r/Costco • Recommendation for air fryer ->I have one of those cuisinart multi function toaster oven/air fryers. I am on my 2nd one as the 1st one failed and was warrantied by Cuisinart. Now this one is starting to fail again in the same manner (the rotary control knob jumps around randomly and doesn't increment up or down cleanly) After watching a video by [Technology Connections](https://youtu.be/6h9JhW-m35o?si=I_99KK9tbrb30_yc) the control board being above the oven is a big achilles heel of these machines. r/EatCheapAndHealthy • What’s the Best Air Fryer to Buy Right Now? ->yeah mine started to fail after 2-3 years of use.
