Cuisinart - TAO-70

For a toaster over, the Cuisinart Air Fryer TOA-70 has a pretty good air frying mode and comes with a mesh wire basket for air frying. Not sure if it's stainless steel or aluminum, but it's definitely a non-stick metal. The interior of the toaster is non-stick as a heads-up. As a side-note, it's pretty decent for toasting, but not great for baking. Most basket style air fryers will have a non-stick coating, unfortunately. Some air fryers, like the Ninja Foodi DZ550, will have ceramic non-stick trays, making them more resistant to scratches than PTFE (Teflon), but it's not perfect and the walls are still made of Teflon. Chrome plated, it is magnetic, I just checked. I have washed ours many, many times and it still looks brand new. We are very happy with this combo air fryer/toaster/counter top oven.

I love my Cuisinart toaster oven style air fryer. I bought the TOA-70, which I think is the same as the one you’re referencing, except this one has manual knobs – it was about $50 cheaper. I feel like the temperature is pretty consistent, but the timer function is literally just an old school kitchen egg timer-type mechanism, and sometimes it just doesn’t feel like working. It’s fine for now as long as I start a timer on my phone, but I’ll be looking to upgrade soon. I just upgraded my "regular" air fryer for a Cuisinart TOA 70 and I am so glad I did. Slightly more expensive than your range (I got mine on a cyber-Monday sale but the sale seem to be over.) but it has 8 cooking modes and it is so quiet I was worried it wasn't working when I used it for the first time.

My Cuisinart TOA 70 has 8 settings, 2 of them are bake (convention and convection. I think the only difference between convection bake and air fry is the speed of the fan.) I haven't tried anything as elaborate as a pie, but the (normal) bake setting seems to work well. I haven't used the convection oven setting, beyond letting it run for a few moments when I first got it.

I know a lot of people who are blind, who have the story air fryer is Wi-Fi capable, and they use it. I don’t have one of those. I am a cook. I don’t believe in running and kitchen appliances, that could cause fires with an app. I have the large model of the Cuisinart toaster oven air fryer. It has control knobs on it, easy to use, I have no site whatsoever. I love the model that I have with the control lamps, they also make one that’s a smaller model with control knobs, and now they even have one and this is the one I wanna get after mine breaks down, they have one that is called the Cuisinart toaster air fryer grill, it has a grill portrait in the air fryer. That’s the one I want, but not until after this one breaks down. And the reason I say that I don’t believe you should control kitchen appliances, especially ones that are meant for cooking, with an app, what happens if you are complete Internet goes down you’re going to have to try and manually use the to air fryer, but if you can’t see, how are you going to use that, especially if you live independently. I live by myself I don’t always have sided help, this is why I chose the Cuisinart, cause somebody can’t always come running over if I need them. now this is just all my opinion, I’m sure they’re gonna be people who don’t agree with it, but that’s all right. I have one of those cuisinart multi function toaster oven/air fryers. I am on my 2nd one as the 1st one failed and was warrantied by Cuisinart. Now this one is starting to fail again in the same manner (the rotary control knob jumps around randomly and doesn't increment up or down cleanly) After watching a video by [Technology Connections](https://youtu.be/6h9JhW-m35o?si=I_99KK9tbrb30_yc) the control board being above the oven is a big achilles heel of these machines. Over time the heat will degrade the operation of things until it becomes inoperable.

Same for us. Very happy with it, but I will say it doesn’t get battered food quite as crispy as some air friers. 2-3x better than a normal oven but a step behind what you see in air fryer videos.

Agree with this brand. Had a Cuisinart for years from Costco and the dials never worked correctly. Switched a year ago to Breville and it's been great. We toast bread almost daily, my husband proofs his bread with it, kids can use it easily for snack foods, and it great for side veggies with dinner. We are a family of 5, so needed larger size and multifunction.

We’ve had a cuisinart air fryer/toaster oven combo for a couple years and it’s been great. We’re a large family and it gets used several times a day. It’s a workhorse type appliance and I like that the rack that the food actually touches is stainless steel. If it ever breaks I’ll get the same one to replace it. I’m not sure it’s true bifl just because of the way small appliances are made now but it should hold up to a decade or two of heavy use pretty easily. 

I prefer a toaster oven/air fryer combo. Many have a nonstick lining on the machine itself, but the tray that touches your food is usually stainless steel. Plus my kitchen isn't big enough for too many single-use appliances. I adored my Cuisinart toaster oven/air fryer but it only lasted about 4 years. I've switched to the breville which is more expensive but seems to be holding up better.

I have a Cuisinart toaster oven/air fryer. I love it but didn't want a dedicated air fryer. I saw one similar to the one (mine is a few years old) I have around Christmas, not sure if it always there.

Second this. Our previous one lasted about 5 or 6 years before it just died. Replaced with the same about a year ago but the construction is a little cheaper. On the newer models they used thinner stainless steel and you can hear the metal flex when it heats up or cools down. The older model didnt. Still a great device and much prefer its analog controls to digital ones.

I mean I doing disagree that air fryers are simple but I also hate the idea of buying a plastic air fryer that’s supposed to withstand 450F degrees of heat. I know cuisinart makes metal ones that don’t break the bank

Dunno about this one but the Costco cuisinart version is freaking awesome. Looks similar actually. I make a lot of lechon and wings on it

I have a different but similar Cuisinart air fryer/oven, and I love it. I think I use it more than the microwave most days. My only gripe with it is that the knob on my model (it only has one) is wonky, and sometimes you turn it up and the numbers go down, or vice versa. It needs to be turned with just the right amount of pressure to get the knob to work right. Also, I cook 90% of food at 375 degrees regardless of the package directions. If I go higher than that, stuff starts to burn or not cook evenly.

I purchased a multi purpose oven - a big bitter than what folks in the US call a toaster oven. It air fries, bakes, grills, toasts… mine is a Cuisinart model and I absolutely love it. Use it every day. I particularly love the fact that I’m not putting my food in contact with plastic at high temps.

Here's a great tip. All cuisineart products are Teflon free. Their air fryer combo oven is an godsend and I cannot recommend it enough.

This is what I have too! It's fantastic! It's about the only way I make tofu now because it's so fast. Yes, the basket is stainless steel. It can even proof bread dough. It's used multiple times a day!
