I don't know if it's BIFL, but the Cuisinart TOA-60 is one of the best purchases I've ever made. It or the virtually identical models regularly go on sale for $99.00. It's all simple mechanical parts so there is basically nothing to fail. It's a great toaster oven AND air fryer. I've used it daily for at least 10 years now, probably closer to 15 and apart from the fact you need to clean it periodically, it's still works like brand new. CTOA 122 is the same exact model except it's sold exclusively at Target. TOA-70 is almost identical, it just comes with a grill plate. I won't lie to you and tell you there are not better air fryers or even combination air fryer toaster ovens out there, but this little guy is reliable, and punches way above it's weight class. My only complaint with it is that there is an independent toaster dial for some reason that only works if all the oven related dials are turned off. It's easy to try to turn this on and not realize nothing is actually cooking because the other settings are still set up for oven or air fry modes.
I have a convection oven the size of a toaster oven and it has an air fryer setting. It's frocking amazing! I used it every single day. This is almost identical to mine. https://www.canadiantire.ca/en/pdp/cuisinart-convection-air-fryer-toaster-oven-w-7-functions-stainless-steel-0439587p.html
Have the same, most used cooking appliance in the kitchen.
I have the TOA-60, use it as airfryer and oven probably 5 days a week. Ive had it for 5 years and it still works great but there is a lot of oil buildup inside that is impossible to fully clean/remove so there is a bad smell and light smoke each time I use it. I am looking to replace it, but will probably get the same thing as the Breville does not seem to have any major advantages for the additional $100.
I have this and love it. Does everything [Cuisinart air fryer/toaster oven](https://www.cuisinart.ca/en/air-fryer-toaster-oven/TOA-60C.html)
I have a Cuisinart, which I love. It has toaster, bake, broil, convection and air fryer modes. It's generally been a champ. I'm not sure which model, but it has analog knobs rather than electronic controls, and I love that.
I mean I doing disagree that air fryers are simple but I also hate the idea of buying a plastic air fryer that’s supposed to withstand 450F degrees of heat. I know cuisinart makes metal ones that don’t break the bank
I have that lid, too, but it’s bulky and I rarely use it because the “air fryer”basket is so small. It’s great for roasting frozen chicken if you just want one or two pieces and haven’t had time to defrost. I much prefer my Cuisinart “toaster oven broiler” with convection. Add a basket and it’s sort of an air fryer, too, but it can accommodate a much larger 13” pan, a quarter baking sheet, etc.
