Depending on how much you're willing to spend, I have the all purpose cuisinart oven thingy that functions as an oven, toaster, air fryer, etc and I love it! You're best bet would most likely be anything that's multi-use like this

It's the Cuisinart TOA-65! It's probably the size of what a standard toaster oven would be, but I think other companies may make smaller ones

[I bought one of these two years ago](https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B092S3G9GG/), and it is my absolute favorite kitchen appliance. I think it gets used only slightly less than the microwave. It is big and takes up a lot of counter space, but you can also air fry large batches, and it works as an oven (nice when it's a million degrees outside and you don't want to heat the whole house up with your main oven) and a toaster (so if you have one of those on your counter, you could get rid of it). It does have a dehydrate function, although I've never tried it and can't speak to it. The main cons are that I think it runs hot (I don't bake anything over 375 no matter what the package says), and the bake function is annoying (it takes forever to preheat and then quietly beeps and starts counting down your time, so you have to be paying attention to know when to put stuff in), but it's kind of like a bidet, where now that I have this, I wouldn't go back to not having one.

I’ve tried a few air fryer-toaster oven combos, and my top picks are the Breville Smart Oven Air Fryer Pro and the Cuisinart TOA-65. Breville is perfect if you want premium quality and versatility, with functions for air frying, baking, roasting, and more, though it’s pricey. Cuisinart is more affordable, reliable, and straightforward, covering all the essentials without overcomplicating things.

Our Cruisinart air fryer toaster convection oven is four Christmases old and wonderful. It freed up valuable counter space as it replaced four other appliances.

We have one of these and I read this post this morning, pulled up the Amazon link, and then forgot to comment. Lol. We love it! Agreed that it definitely runs hot but once you’re used to it it’s no big deal.

If you can afford it, oven- air fryer combos are amazing. We use ours several times a day: Cuisinart Air Fryer Toaster Oven, Digital Display, Digital 1800 Watt, Adjustable Temperature and Controls, Stainless Steel, TOA-65,Silver https://a.co/d/02qHeJAm

Our store only carries one or two of the toaster-oven-style air fryers. We picked up the Cuisinart model as we had a Cuisinart toaster oven before and it works fine.

Yes, we've found that out too. I suspect that they set up the settings for a regular toaster oven and didn't factor in the faster cooking because of the blower motor. This is something that you learn with trial and error.

I do have 3 teenagers. It’s my wife and three teenage kids, so we need to make pretty big meals these days. I know this post is 7 months old, but I hope you went with a bigger air fryer. Our first air fryer was a 10 quart model. We thought about getting a second one, but my brother in law is an electrician, and he said they draw too much power to be on the same outlet, so we just ended up getting a much larger model.  We landed on a Cuisineart model that’s 18 quarts by narrowing down all the size options using this handy [product database](https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1Y4PR6GCz-Lk5mWX1LUzo-3kChRBv302vSv5HZFB5K1c/edit?gid=1554522955#gid=1554522955) that someone on Reddit put together. The nice thing is that it can toast six bagel halves simultaneously, so I was able to get rid of my toaster altogether too.

I too have the Cuisinart and use it often. But note: it cooks a lot hotter than the setting indicates. I know 2 other people with the same oven and they've said the same thing. I turn it down about 50° when I'm air baking/frying.

I purchased a multi purpose oven - a big bitter than what folks in the US call a toaster oven. It air fries, bakes, grills, toasts… mine is a Cuisinart model and I absolutely love it. Use it every day. I particularly love the fact that I’m not putting my food in contact with plastic at high temps.

This is what I have too! It's fantastic! It's about the only way I make tofu now because it's so fast. Yes, the basket is stainless steel. It can even proof bread dough. It's used multiple times a day!

We've had the Cuisinart air fryer toaster oven and the ninja foodi smart xl air oven. Both are terrible with the Cuisinart being significantly worse (absolutely never buy the Cuisinart) due to a known manufacturing defect. We love the idea of a toaster oven and air fryer in one for our small space, but the air frying function in the toaster ovens just doesn't work well.

Same for us. Very happy with it, but I will say it doesn’t get battered food quite as crispy as some air friers. 2-3x better than a normal oven but a step behind what you see in air fryer videos.

First I bought a small traditional AF and it ended up being too small. So then I bought a big traditional AF and loved it but it stopped working after a year of constant use. And for the last 3 years I've loved my Cuisinart Air Fryer Toaster Oven! Truthfully it's a little more work to clean but holds so much more and is way more versatile than a traditional AF. You can even bake and make toast in it.

Yeah, I second this reco. I love my Cuisinart air fryer toaster oven, its about 3 years old, & going strong, it gets used several times a week, I recommend wrapping the drip tray with foil for easy cleanup.

I second the cuisinart. It has functions for cookies, pizza, baking (separate from the cookie function). Like 12 settings, including air fry. A regular oven grate, a basket, a pizza pan, and a little baking dish. Sometimes, you can even make two things at once by using the grate in the lowest setting and using the basket above it.

I also have a Cuisinart air fryer/toaster oven and use it daily. Agreed that wrapping the tray in foil is a necessity. It takes longer than a regular toaster for bread, but using it to reheat pastries or pizza makes it a winner.

We have a cuisinart air fryer toaster oven and it’s great. Gets the most use out of all the small appliances. Can make whole dinners in it for 2 adults. Anything that is not a toaster oven size/shape is going to be way less useful

I had the Gourmia some years ago and all the basket finished peeled. Then went for a Cuisinart air fryer toaster oven (died quickly) and exchanged it for a Kitchen Aid Air Fryer (great appliance, fair air fryer, very difficult to clean). After days of deep research, I bought the Ninja Flexdrawer 11qt renewed from Amazon and it’s amazing! Amazon recommended a set of silicone inserts which makes cleaning a breeze.

I would not buy a Cuisinart Air Fryer Toaster Oven again. It's infuriating. Times and temps given in the directions don't cook the food correctly. I've had to throw out several burnt pizzas.

Agree. I have one and the space saving sold me. But the toaster oven feature is unpredictable and isn't great, and the air frying is mediocre. Plus it's hard to clean. The fan stopped working the other day so I'm now in the market for both a toaster oven and an air fryer.

We’ve had a cuisinart air fryer/toaster oven combo for a couple years and it’s been great. We’re a large family and it gets used several times a day. It’s a workhorse type appliance and I like that the rack that the food actually touches is stainless steel. If it ever breaks I’ll get the same one to replace it. I’m not sure it’s true bifl just because of the way small appliances are made now but it should hold up to a decade or two of heavy use pretty easily

Second this. Our previous one lasted about 5 or 6 years before it just died. Replaced with the same about a year ago but the construction is a little cheaper. On the newer models they used thinner stainless steel and you can hear the metal flex when it heats up or cools down. The older model didnt. Still a great device and much prefer its analog controls to digital ones.

I have one of those cuisinart multi function toaster oven/air fryers. I am on my 2nd one as the 1st one failed and was warrantied by Cuisinart. Now this one is starting to fail again in the same manner (the rotary control knob jumps around randomly and doesn't increment up or down cleanly) After watching a video by [Technology Connections](https://youtu.be/6h9JhW-m35o?si=I_99KK9tbrb30_yc) the control board being above the oven is a big achilles heel of these machines. Over time the heat will degrade the operation of things until it becomes inoperable.

I love the toaster oven style air fryers. I used to recommend my Cuisinart, but it only lasted a couple of years. It's the model with the digital panel. It fails, and they know it, but they won't do anything about it. BUT, I still prefer a toaster ovenstyle.

I really wish some company would make a simple air fryer with all stainless steel or enamel coated like a real oven. Also reducing the number of settings would be nice to simplify things. I want it to last 10 years+ not 1-3 years like they currently do. Make it fit a standard 9x13” pan for the oven styles. Somehow Breville breaks, Cuisinart, Oster, Hamilton beach, etc. I’ll spend $400 if it’s like Vitamix and last a while, but all of the brands die so easily so it’s hard to judge. My cuisinart digital air fryer died twice because the knob kept going crazy after 9 months. So now I’m on the new version and it hasn’t happened for me yet after 5-6 months, but I bought a new Instant Pot basket style but still Teflon (rated the best from Americas Test Kitchen).

What’s bad is that the Cuisinart digital air fryer will break after 9 months with the dial so long term durability isn’t a factor in this review. I warrantied mine 2 times already and they said that was the last time.

We have a Cuisinart digital toaster oven combo. We absolutely love it. We have always used toaster ovens instead of traditional toasters anyhow. For us it’s one appliance with multiple functions that we just love. We use ours at least twice a day . . . some days as many as four times a day. The one appliance on the counter instead of two is the biggest argument for the toaster oven style is the strongest argument for me. If you have a small family (say 3 or 4 people or fewer) we use it in place of our full sized oven. We bake bread in there etc. If you like Morningstar Farms products most of them do great in the air fryer (especially things like bacon, sausage, chicken patty, chicken nuggets etc). I put my morning bagel in there with my veggie sausage or bacon set at 350 and 6 minutes for bacon and 7 for sausages. Comes out great. Since it’s just two of us I’m sure we are saving electricity vs the full sized stove. We bought one for my sister in law and family and were amazed how much they liked it. We have another friend who got the analogue version of the Cuisinart air fryer toaster oven and honestly I don’t like it as much . . . I’d recommend the one with the digital readout. We are huge fans!
