The countertop ones were too small for our family so I have the emeril dual zone French door airfyer and I’d marry it if I could. I don’t clean it, but I do clean the trays but it’s so easy. You can bake, fry, toast and all the things. It’s quick and simple. And it doesn’t make the whole house hot when you use it. I’ve used it everyday for three years now.

Gotta second this, was looking if it'd be mentioned. This air fryer is life, big enough to cook whole frozen pizzas, has a rotisserie chicken wheel for cooking little chickens, a frying basket, easy to clean, settings for everything, it's amazing

We purchased an Emeril Lagasse French door for ourselves and an additional one for our daughter and son in law. It’s a win win!

I had a Ninja for a couple of years and it was fine but always smelled like burning plastic when using it. The nonstick coating on the rack degraded after a while too (as nonstick does). We upgraded to a Emeril Lagasse french door air fryer and it's so much bigger and nicer. The trays and pans all seem to be stainless steel too which I much prefer. Can't speak on how long it will last yet obviously.

I have the Emeril Lagasse french door one that does rotisserie chicken and has several attachments. I also have a regular convection oven (I love it, won't ever go back to an electric oven with an element). But I love it, I can make just a couple of sausage patties and a couple biscuits in a few minutes and have a quick breakfast. It has a grill attachment, wire basket, baking tray, drip pan, rotisserie hooks, etc. Absolutely love using it.

Depends. Some people make the purchase and never learn to use it. Others swear by it. Mostly, it depends on your lifestyle and the amount of cabinet space. If health issues prevent you from enjoying fried foods, that is another consideration. But…if you have a convection onion, try playing with that first to see if you might like the real thing. You CAN air fry in your convection oven but it will take a slightly higher temperature and maybe 10% more time. With a real air fry appliance, the cabinet is only 10-15% as big but with a more efficient fan (because of the limited size). It will cook faster. But, if it only air fries, that’s a huge price to pay in counter space. If you get the larger ovens, (mine is Emeril’s with French doors) it performs many functions and you can ditch your toaster. Short version - there is no right answer. It varies with your goals. My appliance also has a rotisserie function which I love. If I’m making brownies or only a few cookies, I bake them here to avoid over heating the house. The French doors are a game changer! It is so simple to clean this one. My first generation Emeril was a b____ to clean. This one is a snap - much better design.

We just bought the Emeril air fryer with the French doors and use it for nearly everything except heating up soup. The grill grates are perfect for those pre marinated pork tenderloins as well
