I have a Gourmia French Door 6-Slice Digital Toaster Oven Air Fryer, 19 One-Touch Presets, 24L, Stainless Steel about $90 at Walmart. I never notice(d) any weird taste; nor did I do a "burn in." I've been using it almost daily for 2 years.
Good toaster oven with an air fry setting, I use it every day compared to a microwave very rarely (and nothing I can’t do without a microwave). I just got a new one, the Gourmia 24l 6-slice size and it’s excellent and only $89. Stainless everywhere, Air fryer, French doors, nice racks (fryer and of course toaster rack) and roasting pan included. Can’t speak to longevity yet but it’s been very good. Built well, has a pretty serious fan (a lot of them have a dinky little fan) and really good heating elements.
I use a toaster oven because my bread is not the industrial shape. I went with the Gourmia Toaster Oven because it was small. Its not the best at toasting but I have used it to air fry and to make small things.
If this is the one with the two doors it sucks
I bought this one for the same reason. Looking for nontoxic air fryer to replace our oven as my husband has not once remembered to turn off the oven in the time I’ve known him. Bought this over the ourplace one because it seemed bigger. The two door design is AWFUL! Both doors open at the same time and they swing out all the way to the sides, not just enough to get the tray out. Also the glass doors led to very uneven cooking because so much heat escapes. I hate this air fryer but it works so can’t justify buying another. Not that u need to know all this but someone has to be the receptacle for my hate
I have the corsori but ask yourself what you will be cooking in it primarily? I also have a gourmia. While that one is good I feel like the corsori yields better results overall which I found shocking
I have the one with the French doors I thought it was pretty good until I tried the basket cosori. I feel like the basket gets things crispier. The gourmia is still good tho. The corsori is not as big ( I use it in my rv) as the gourmia. I had the gourmia first. I wasn’t aware of air fryer accessories when I got it but when I got the cosori I was like ohhhhh yeaaaaa versatility!!
Power xl was good, now we have a gourmia double door. So many more uses, its from costco. Like an oven also
