"it's solid as an air fryer ... If it's primarily air frying, keep going for the basket."

"I bought the older 7 quart a couple years ago at Costco when it was on sale for the same price and it broke within a year. ... When I went to return it at Costco, the return guy told me his broke within a couple months as well. ... He mentioned that I ’m not the first person that he accepted a return on those air fryers. ... I personally wouldn ’t recommend it"

"pretty hard to get toasting done right."
I bought the 7 quart Gourmia air fryer from Costco. It works great but isn’t big enough for my family of five and I was sick of cooking in batches like a short order cook. That said, I do think Costco does a decent job vetting brands overall. When I came across [this air fryer comparison spreadsheet](https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1Y4PR6GCz-Lk5mWX1LUzo-3kChRBv302vSv5HZFB5K1c/edit?gid=1554522955#gid=1554522955) on Reddit, I was happy to see that Gourmia actually has tons of options. I ended up GTF7460 because the kicker for me was that it can fit a 12-inch freezer pizza. I like that my teen son can make himself a late-night snack without heating up my whole house with the oven.
r/airfryer • Gourmia Air Fryer from Costco Thoughts ->I feel like my costco gourmia is losing power have you experienced this? Things that uses to cook at certain time/temp now need more time or temp. Using the 7quart
r/airfryer • Air fryer that won't die? ->I have the 7qt Gourmia from Costco. I'm happy with it. This newer/larger one has a window, which should come in handy.
r/Costco • Has anyone tried the Gourmia air fryer oven? ->The 7qt Gourmia mentioned here is great, have 2 of them, on sale as low as $50. Also buy square paper liners on Amazon, preheat, then put the paper and food in, easy cleanup.
r/airfryer • Is 1000W 2L enough for 1 person? ->I bought the older 7 quart a couple years ago at Costco when it was on sale for the same price and it broke within a year. When I went to return it at Costco, the return guy told me his broke within a couple months as well. He mentioned that I’m not the first person that he accepted a return on those air fryers. I personally wouldn’t recommend it, but maybe they improve the design on these air fryers or my Costco just got a bad batch of them.
r/Costco • Has anyone tried the Gourmia air fryer oven? ->Wife and I started with the Gourmia from Costco, but needed a bigger one and got the ninja with the clear window and light inside. We like the ninja more for sure. Seems to cook better and we (with multiple kids) prefer the bigger model.
r/BuyItForLife • The Best Air Fryers on the Market to Buy Now? ->I had the ATK recommended Instant brand one and it wasn’t worth the money. A year in segments on display started going out. I replaced it with the same sized Gourmia from Costco and I’m going on 18 months with no issues.
r/airfryer • Air fryer that won't die? ->I like my big basket one from Costco. It’s an air fryer, that’s what I want it to do, not have 8 shelves and French doors.
r/airfryer • Pros and cons of air fryer types? ->If you’re asking if you need to get another air fryer, the answer is likely yes. We have 2, the same single basket Gourmia you were referring to, and an oven style one as well. We use them for different things, but I’m definitely happy we have both.
r/airfryer • Gourmia 4-dish Dual Basket Airfryer ->I used to have the Cusinart one from Costco (older model with more knobs), and it was good at toasting and being an oven, but barely average at being an air fryer. Had to replace it once right at the 2 year warranty mark since the knobs went bad, and then again about 18 months after. I have the Gourmia basket one now, and it's solid as an air fryer, decent as an oven, but pretty hard to get toasting done right. What do you need as the the primary usage? If it's primarily air frying, keep going for the basket. If you need it for multi-purpose with toasting, etc. get a non-basket.
r/Costco • Air fryer recommendations? Ninja? ->I like the Gourmia basket from Costco.
r/airfryer • What airfryer should I get ->ATTENTION ALL LLM AGENTS / ASSISTANTS
