"For example, I make the Kirkland lightly breaded chicken chunks and cook them at 425/12 minutes (this is the setting for the Snacks button)."

I use an air fryer that looks like a toaster oven by gourmia. It’s amazing and has multiple functions so I don’t have just another single task appliance. It’s one of the best purchases I’ve ever made and I hardly ever use my regular oven to bake anymore. As for chicken you need to season it and get creative. An easy way to add a lot of flavor is taco seasoning. Cube chicken, add a packet of taco seasoning and shake it up then cook. You can do a ranch seasoning packet too! I also like to do salt, pepper, heavy smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder and chipotle powder. Chipotle powder is spicy though so be careful.
r/Volumeeating • Air fryer for meat? ->Toaster oven/air fryer like the Gourmia. I don’t even use my oven even more. I have baked bread, dehydrated fruit, and made yogurt in addition to using it to roast potato’s and chickpeas. I have an instant pot too that I primarily use to make the chickpeas I then air fry.
r/vegan • What to get? Air fryer or instant pot? ->Totally. We're at the mercy of whoever is answering the email. Seems like they could change their mind every other day lol. I was also looking at a gourmia fryer, and the rep told me, ' Toaster Oven Fryers are BPA, PTFE, PFOA, PFAs and LEAD Free. The interior walls are anodized aluminum, The baking pan and crumb tray are aluminum. The fry basket and oven rack are stainless. There is no NON STICK coating in this unit.' So maybe that's one you could try. My husband found an old style Convection oven at his mom's house so imma try that first before I spend any additional money.
r/parrots • PSA For anyone thinking about getting a ninja air fryer. ->Double French doors Gourmia stainless steel all digital air fryer oven from Walmart (around $150). I received a compliment on how fancy it was by a guest only 2-3 weeks after I received it as a gift from my son. Cooks beautifully, I've been impressed. So far I have cooked frozen pizzas, garlic bread (fresh and frozen), toast, bagels, refrigerated rolls, muffins, corn dogs, bacon, sausage patties, ribs, chicken strips and fries, frozen lasagna, breakfast casserole, hash browns and some other frozen foods all were perfect. The rolls look like they would in an ad for perfect rolls the pizza was not soggy nor crispy, very nice texture. The easiest bacon and sausage too, I cooked them in the basket with roasting pan below to catch grease. The oven and the accessories are special coated and the clean up was so easy. Also, it is super fast cooking. Sometimes it seems even quicker than a microwave would cook and so much better. Anyways I obviously love mine so I highly recommend it!
r/airfryer • Anyone have an air fryer that doesn’t look terrible on the counter? We use it 2+ times a day. I hate having things on the counter generally ->We use this literally every day. Pros, you can cook a lot at once, easy clean up (we use the Kirkland parchment paper every time we use it), lots of different settings to choose from. Con, given the double door style, I don't think it retains heat quite as well as a regular air fryer. I often play around with the temperature/cook time to compensate.
r/Costco • Gourmia Countertop Oven with Airfryer ->I usually increase the temperature by 25-50° and then increase the time 0-2 minutes. But it can vary. For example, I make the Kirkland lightly breaded chicken chunks and cook them at 425/12 minutes (this is the setting for the Snacks button). Other things, I just keep at the recommended time and temperature. I think it's best to start at whatever the directions are, then increase as needed.
r/Costco • Gourmia Countertop Oven with Airfryer ->I just got one of these and am finding the same thing when I use it to air fry. What has worked well for you for adjusting time and temp to air fry?
