GreenPan - Bistro Stainless Steel 9-in-1 Air Fry Oven

I think you will find the oven style air fryers also take 2-3x as long as the basket style so...I would personally get a bigger basket style AF. I bought a Greenpan oven style and returned it the next day for a bigger basket style. It took way too long and results just weren't crispy or good. I think the design of the oven style ones fundamentally just don't work as well since it's not an enclosed space that air is circulating around enough

The teflon coating doesn't seem too fragile so just clean it with non abrasive cleaners.

Hey all, I have posted about wanting to get the Greenpan Bistro air fryer convection oven because it has no PTFE or Teflon coating. It's on sale so I pulled the trigger. I tried it for the first time last night and I am a bit disappointed in how long it takes and not cooking food as well as the basket style air fryers. Ironically before I bought it I only read positive reviews then yesterday as I am going to try it I read a thread about how bad the convection oven style are vs the basket style. I think I just learned this first hand. Cooking a burger and fries took double what my basket does and still was undercooked. On paper this thing was perfect but it seems to get super hot on all the surfaces including the knobs you need to use, also you have to go up in 25 degree increments so 300 350 375 no inbetween. I think I might return it and look for a basket style that is non toxic but they are super hard to find. Anyone have any recommendations or experiences to help before I return it?

No we have a larger size stainless steel. Love it and no off gassing. Came with a sheet pan that had a coating (they say non toxic) which I don’t use. Bought the greenpan convection oven air fryer combo and the over style do not compare at all. Food was undercooked and time to cook food water literally double to that of an air fryer. HIGHLY recommend the Ninja brand as they cook extremely well AND now have non toxic ceramic coating. Go for the AF181 model, you will not be disappointed.

Have used for 2 months and found a BIG problem. I put a 1 1/2 quart casserole dish 3/4 full of food onto rack as I have done for years with my old toaster oven. The rack bowed under the weight enough that the sides slipped out of the wall grooves and the entire thing collapsed down onto the bottom heating elements. That is NOT acceptable and means one can only bake light weight items. Very disappointed. After this experience I wouldn't consider their higher end models, either.

I use the brand Greenpan for all of my pan and airfryer needs. They are PFOA-free and the best purchase of last year (except for the birds, of course).
