It works fine. Not a lot of capacity because of it being a 6qt IP. We used it to make nuggets, etc for our kids.
r/instantpot • Is the insta pot air fryer any good ->I thought the same. I don’t have anything Ninja but when I was looking at the Ninja Foodie and the Instant Pot Duo Crisp I was sure both were safe. Ended up with the Instant Pot (which I’m glad of now as I’m also in the UK!)
r/parrots • PSA For anyone thinking about getting a ninja air fryer. ->I was going to get a Ninja, but realized at the last moment that the open lid wouldn’t fit on our counter top, so I went with the Duo Crisp instead. I don’t Air Fry much, but when I do I often end up using some of the custom inserts (racks, silicone trays) that you can buy anywhere these days - whatever seems to work best for what I’m making.

Instant Pot’s Duo Crisp has both air fryer and pressure cooker/steamer/etc. its one of my most used appliances tbh and it comes with a frying basket, but i have used it without the basket to get more space and it still does a good fry job.
