"How long does it take for the plastic smell to go away? I just got one and can't handle the smell 😩 ... Right? It's so bad and the plastic smell gets into the food. ... r/AmericasTestKitchen • Best air fryer ->we have the ninja side by side. it works fine. you can operate both sides as one, if you want. and you can set both sides to finish at the same time if they have different settings. i don't like that you have to manually pause it if you don't want hot air just blowing out when you open a basket and it doesn't have a reminder to flip like our single basket Instant Vortex does.

r/AirFryers • Moving: Need Air Fryer Recommendations 🕺💃 ->1. For basket fryers cleaning the basket is going to be the same everywhere. Remove the grill and clean both separately. The only difference is whether the basket/grill are non-stick or dishwasher safe. 2. Parchment paper defeats air flow and therefore the purpose of an air fryer. In addition for foods which give off a lot of fat, such as chicken legs, the food would be lying in a pool of fat on the parchment paper. You want the fat to drain in order to crisp the food. 3. Top reviewed is Instant Pot Vortex Plus 6QT. Not the most robust unit out there. Support and parts can be problematic. The unit will likely last as long as the non-stick coating does. Non-stick coatings or all cookware has a limited life.
