"I had mine staked down in packed sand during a rainstorm that dropped 1.5”-2” per hour for 3 hours according to a ranger station nearby and it took it like a champ."
"after heavy and extreme and I mean extreme use in a very dirty environment, after a year the range suddenly cut down... I felt like I'd gotten my measly 20ish buck worth from them and didn't fault jlab due to the extreme circumstances I used them in daily. ... I work in a hot asa filthy steel mill and the fact they lasted a year was impressive to me."
"My old Breville lasted 10-11 years ... I got the new one 3 years ago with the air fryer option … if it breaks tomorrow I would figure out how to get it again - I seriously love it."

"It's MUCH easier to clean non stick surfaces (1 minute after each use). ... Takes me 1 minute to clean my Cosori with a nylon brush and Dawn."
"Clean up is a snap all it takes is a little bit of your dish detergent I use Dawn and three tablespoons of baking soda made into a small little paste you cover the inside you cover the. Inside in the rack with it you wait 15 minutes rinse it well with warm water paper towel dry it and it's done."
"both baskets go in the dishwasher, which makes cleanup way easier"

"sounded like a loud squeaky balloon. ... Every time I shifted weight or switched sides it was loud. ... Even someone walking by looked at me and said “that’s really noisy”."
"The fan that circulates the air is so ridiculous it sounds like an airplane is idling inside my house, and it literally changes the air pressure in my kitchen and hurts my ears"
"it's just so loud that I'm going to end up returning it."

"infinitely prefer cleaning the dual basket than trying to remove a hot plate from the bottom"

"Ninja's removable plate design would always result in a soggy underside if I overfilled due to the air being unable to circulate."
"When I run both sides, with identical contents, same temperature and time as before, the food is clearly not cooked the same amount as just one side on it's own. ... No, I'm saying you *should* increase your time by ~10% if you run both baskets simultaneously"

"it leaves a taste on things bc of the coating"
You’re clearing the ninja one wrong. Hot water into the bucket with soap, handle scrubber in fast rotations , put it out, same again, boom. Faster than cleaning the cosori.
r/airfryer • The Cosori removable basket design is superior to Ninja ->Yeah, it has 13 presets like air fry, toast, bake, pizza, slow cook, dehydrate, etc. Super convenient, but you can also tweak the settings if you want more control.
r/Cooking • Best Air Fryer for 2 People in 2025 ->We have owned the first version of this for at least 3 years now... maybe longer. We originally bought it for our Motorhome, thinking the space saver would be great, and it was. After using it for a while, we brought it into the house and use it almost daily now, and just take it out to the MH when we travel. PS...... when we bought new appliances last year we got an oven witha built-in air fryer, and after one or two uses, we just go back to this guy.....it's a great appliance and well worth the $
r/Costco • Ninja Air Fryer Reviews - Insight ->Cuisinart sucks just fyi, especially the digital air fryer ones. Ninja is good just they don’t seem to have a good size. The tilt one doesn’t have enough clearance to see or even put things like 1-1/2” steaks and the non-flip one is giant.
r/BuyItForLife • The Best Air Fryers on the Market to Buy Now? ->Any air fryer is a “convection cooker.” The “air fryer” name is a sales gimmick. Just like the “instant pot” label is a gimmick for a pressure cooker. I have owned a Breville Smart Oven for several years and would buy another one. I also have a Ninja upright in my second home. I like the Breville better, but the Ninja is fine. I cook a lot. I have a high end stove with a convection oven. If it were me, I would keep it. The Breville does everything that your toaster oven does, but better and faster. It also can roast and bake without having to use your regular convection oven. Of all the countertop “convection” ovens, it is probably the best. This was a very thoughtful gift from your relatives. As far as cooking with it, we love chicken wings. The Breville cooks the best chicken wings fairly fast and better than a regular convection oven and roasts vegetables beautifully. (Probably because of the smaller cubic area.) Also reheating on the Air Fryer mode is a game changer, much better than your microwave. To use it well, you do need to familiarize yourself on how it works. Watch some YouTube videos where the Breville is used. Read the instructions so you can learn how to use the various modes. Familiarize yourself with it before making a decision to return it and by all means, go ahead and treat yourself to a carbon steel wok as well. It is not an either or proposition. You deserve both!
r/Cooking • do I need an air fryer? ->Since we got our Ninja 4qt air fryer (AF101), we hardly ever use the microwave. Maybe to reheat a cup of tea or melt butter. **Tiny Kitchen small appliance Hierarchy:** Air Fryer (a good one) Microwave (big enough for popcorn, like a 0.8cu ft 800w) Keurig K-Mini Single Serve 2 slice toaster with bagel setting 4qt Instant Pot (like a duo plus 9-in1) Countertop Blender
r/Cooking • Should I buy a microwave, toaster oven, or air fryer for my tiny kitchen? I can only pick one….. ->If you’re cooking small meals, a single basket like the Ninja AF101 or Instant Vortex does the job well. Duals are great for variety but take more space. Go Ninja if you want durability, Instant if you want presets and ease.
r/airfryer • Affordable Airfryer Suggestions ->try ninja af101. good for first timers like yours
r/airfryer • Things to know before buying Airfryer ->Buying a ninja has been life changing for cleaning. Takes me minutes rather than scrubbing and soaking for ages only for it to still look rank! I also like the extra layers on the metal wire rack things!
r/airfryer • My advice for buying an air fryer ->I have a dedicated air fryer and a ninja air fryer oven thing. The dedicated air fryer is much better at most things, especially meat like chicken thighs. The oven combo is good at veggies, reheating foods, frozen fries, etc. The oven is not better at those things, but the profile of the large rack makes it more convenient. I had a dedicated nice counter oven that quit. I thought the combo would be a good replacement. It's not really. It's not as good as an oven and not as good as an air fryer. But the combination is convenient since I still have the air fryer. The combo absolutely can't replace my dedicated ninja air fryer.
r/Cooking • do I need an air fryer? ->Ninja just introduced this face-lift version. I have the original, prior model, and as others have stated, I use this constantly without failure. Very happy purchase
