We have a Ninja Pro XL 6.5qt and have nothing bad to say about it. It works well and is extremely easy to use.
r/BuyItForLife • Best Air Fryers to Buy? ->Bought the greenpan convection oven air fryer combo and the over style do not compare at all. Food was undercooked and time to cook food water literally double to that of an air fryer. HIGHLY recommend the Ninja brand as they cook extremely well AND now have non toxic ceramic coating. Go for the AF181 model, you will not be disappointed.
r/airfryer • Thoughts on the toaster oven style air fryer? ->Ninja air fryers (some models) have ceramic coatings. I got the 6.5qt XL Pro basket model. Some of the Ninjas are teflon. Make sure it says a non-ptfe coating. The Phillips models are safe too but they have a shitty 90 days warranty. If you google air fryers non-toxic, you'll get a few articles with lists.
r/airfryer • which one should i get ->I retired my Gourmia and have a Ninja 6.5qt. I was astounded by how much easier to clean the ceramic coating is compared to the teflon (and then there's the ptfe issue for those that are concerned). It was worth every penny. Highly recommend. The capacity is as good as the gourmia but it has a nice smaller overall footprint which I like as well.
r/airfryer • What would you consider to be the holy grail of air fryers? ->We have the regular 6-in-1, not the xl. I seriously considered upgrading to the 10-in-1 but it is considerably heavier. We only use the air fryer and grill functions, but the griddle is tempting.
