Ninja Crispi pro, sometimes I just sit there and watch it.. perfect every time.
No way could I ever get that even of a cook on all that in my Crispi. And I have the 6 qt. Can only use the bottom surface, even if I flip it all every 10 min. It’s kind of a waste for me.
Lucky you, I can’t even put 3 diced potatoes in mine.
If you can afford it I would strongly suggest looking at the Ninja Crispi Pro instead. The glass cooking bowls work great and are much much easier to keep clean. Even the crisper tray is easier to clean than any others I have had. This is my 3rd airfryer.
The Ninja Crispi is the best gadget we have ever purchased. Use it almost daily. You can see the food, clean up is super easy and you can store/serve in it too! And now there's an upgraded 6 in 1 thats new. 100% reccomend

I recently got the Crispi pro and I really like it. Easier to clean and I love how you can cook and store in the same container. It came with 2 glass containers and 2 grill plates, so that was nice, too! Someone gave me some advice to spray a little cooking spray down in the glass bowls, makes for very easy clean up!
Yes and no. It’s more about the power they have, the size, and options for me. While not necessary to spend $300 on a good one, a decent one with good power and size will run at least $100 imo. I started with a cheapo Bella one, power sucked. Upgraded to a nicer $70-$80 off brand one. I liked it but it died after a year. I’m now the proud owner of a Ninja 6 in 1, and then was gifted the Ninja Crispi Pro. While I do love the pro, it cooks just as well and has the same options as my $129 Ninja 6 in 1, the Crispi pro is easier to clean though because of the glass bowls, and supposedly without the chemicals found in basket style ones. I would not have personally spent $279 on it though, but since it was gifted to me I will happily use it!
I have the Pro version. Instead of the device sitting on top of the container, the container slides into the base and has a movable base to account for the change in bowl sizes. I also have a regular basket style 7-in-one Ninja air fryer. The Crispi pro is my go to. Easier to clean. I love the change out in bowls that I can even store the cooked food in.
The Ninja double stack XL was really big, it took up a lot of counter space I didn’t have. I ended up selling it and getting the Crispi Pro, which I love and it doesn’t take up my entire counter. I can’t speak to the Cosori, but I do really like the Crispi Pro. Seems easier to clean as well

I have been obsessed with finding the perfect air fryer for a while now and after testing a bunch I wanted to share my personal recommendations. # The Top-Tier Beast Machines * [**Breville Smart Oven Air Fryer Pro**](https://share.google/0TmXKkriclyxtJjcI) **- $400** *Pros: It's a full-featured convection oven that also air fries perfectly. The capacity is huge and it can replace your toaster.* *Cons: It's very expensive and takes up a significant amount of counter space.* * [**Typhur Dome 2 AI Smart Air Fryer**](https://share.google/OZ8jwMlcU0vM30bOj) **- $400** *Pros: Has a self-cleaning function and a large flat basket that fits a 12" pizza. The top and bottom heating elements cook evenly.* *Cons: It's very expensive for a dedicated air fryer and is a newer less-known brand.* # The Mid-Range Workhorses * [**Ninja Crispi Pro 6-in-1 Glass Air Fryer**](https://share.google/FzgJ1w0CDdpPy6t1E) **- $280** *Pros: The glass containers are non-toxic and let you see the food as it cooks. They can also go in the microwave and freezer.* *Cons: The design with separate containers is a bit unusual.* * [**Cosori Iconic Stainless Steel 6.5 Qt Smart Air Fryer**](https://share.google/F16jSKTy1ozjlAgnc) **- $250** *Pros: A premium stainless steel build with a non-toxic ceramic basket. A very high-end feel for the price.* *Cons: It's a single basket so you can't cook two things at once like a dual-zone.* # The Budget Champions * [**Ninja DZ090 6-Quart Dual-Zone 2-Basket Air Fryer (Renewed)**](https://share.google/dPpQ4TjTsIZYBvWSM) **- $110** *Pros: You get two separate baskets to cook two different foods at once which is incredibly convenient. An amazing price for a renewed model.* *Cons: It's a renewed product so it may have cosmetic blemishes and has a shorter warranty.* * [**Gourmia Digital Air Fryer, 7.5 Liter**](https://share.google/PIUYF4FgiZeX3ngUQ) **- $90** *Pros: A very large 7.5-liter capacity for a rock-bottom price. The window is useful for checking on your food without opening it.* *Cons: The build quality and materials are very basic compared to the more expensive options.* TL;DR: If you want a toaster oven replacement get the Breville. For a high-tech basket fryer get the Typhur Dome. For dual-basket cooking on a budget get the renewed Ninja.
this is actually such a detailed explanation thank you i had no idea about the cooling step to let the starch crystallize. that’s wild. i definitely have NOT been doing a double cook situation. i basically just cut -> oil -> air fry -> hope for magic. i might actually try this full method just to see what happens, even if it’s a bit extra. when you say fry at 300°F first in a normal fryer, what would you translate that to in an air fryer? lower temp for like 8–10 mins, then chill, then blast at 400°?
