"We are really happy with ours. I can’t say I notice a large difference in cooking with 1 drawer vs 2."
"I’ve cooked steak from both frozen and also thawed and marinated/seasoned. They both worked great for me, just the thawed one I simply changed the cooking time. Crisp outside and tender medium/rare inside."
"Is this an American thing because my dual Ninja cooks in the same time regardless of how many baskets are used, must be the voltage difference. ... I think it depends where you are, I'm in the UK and I have not noticed this phenomenon at all?"

"But overall I found the dual baskets to be a lot more convenient. We cook different things in the baskets, at different temps and times, and it saves a lot of time."
"the smart finish function is awesome because if I’m making lunch for my kids and they want chicken nuggets and French fries and they both cook for different times at different temps that function will sync the times up so both things finish at the same time. ... It’s amazing and I highly recommend that function exist regardless of what you buy. ... I use the shit out of smart finish."
"being able to 2 things in separate basket is amazing. ... With a family it is just needed imo ... I could never go back to a single draw."

"Because I was using both baskets all the time, it cooked significantly slower - the dual basket Ninjas only run at full power if you are using one basket."
"it took an hour and a quarter to get the wings and fries both cooked ... With two separate air fryers I could make the same meal in about 25 minutes. ... I was sooooo disappointed."
"If we're using both at the same time, the cooking times jumps up like 50% ... The machine can only draw so much current, so each side shares the electricity when both on."

"mine just stopped working when I had both trays running on max crisp setting. ... I found out one of the thermal cutout fuses had blown because it had gotten too hot ... I replaced the fuse (absolute pain in the arse) and got it working. ... I'm not using max crisp again!"
"My double drawer ninja melted itself. ... keep an eye on it."
"It has 2 cooling vents on the side that produce a lot of heat and my countertop gets really hot and wet."

"With regards to its cooking quality, again i am not impressed. ... My old one cooks from the top whereas the Ninja has its It’s fans in the back and the cooking is not evenly done within the basket."
"Food on the stainless grate that sits halfway up the basket crisps much, much faster than food on the bottom surface. ... Like “burns before the bottom part is cooked” faster."

"they’re deep but not wide, and since you want one layer for maximum crispiness, I needed both baskets to get in all my food without stacking."
"not large enough baskets overall"

"The beeps on my Ninja Doublestack could wake the dead!"
"Also it It’s starting/ending and button sounds are pretty loud."
My biggest complaint about the basket type was lack of space. This new model from Ninja is big, yet it doesn’t take up a lot of counter space. https://www.ninjakitchen.com/products/ninja-doublestack-xl-2-basket-multi-rack-air-fryer-zidSL401
r/airfryer • If I have an air fryer oven should I also get a regular air fryer? ->Congratulations! We are a two too - gave just bought a Ninja stacked - love it !!
r/airfryer • best air fryer for 2 people? Recently married :) ->We have one of the two drawer ninja ones. Had it for 2 years. Use it multiple times a week minimum, the over goes on a few times a month. Well worth the buy for us!
r/UKParenting • Air fryers for family meals ->Ninja with two drawers but want to upgrade to one big drawer ninja with divider
r/AskIreland • What air fryer do you have? ->We are really happy with ours. I can’t say I notice a large difference in cooking with 1 drawer vs 2. But we are in the UK so might have a different power supply?
r/airfryer • A little disappointed ->I will vouch for this. Once I used my mother in law’s ninja I realized that the IP Duo Crisp was far from adequate as an air fryer. I’ve added a Njnja (2 drawer model) and I’ve gotten rid of the IP air fryer lid and inner basket.
r/airfryer • Don't believe America's Test Kitchen, the Instant Pot Air Fryer Is Mediocre to Bad At Best ->The beeps on my Ninja Doublestack could wake the dead!
r/airfryer • Can't decide between these two. Help! ->I have the Doublestack and I do like it but there are some differences to air fryers that aren’t stacked. It saves counter space which is great. It heats from the back of the basket instead of above. Things closer to the back of the basket will cook a little quicker and be crispier. The crisper tray is adjustable so it can go all the way to the bottom of the basket or half way down. If I’m not putting too much in it, I prefer half way down which allows the air coming in to go under as well as over. I get much better results this way. It also has a grate which can be used when the crisper plate is at the bottom. You can have some stuff at the bottom of the basket and some on the grate. Then there is the other basket with all the same accessories and functionality. Lots of room for cooking but it can be easy to overcrowd a basket which will reduce crispiness. There’s a learning curve with it but I’m getting there after a couple of months of ownership. I quite like it but some people moving from top blowing air fryers do not.
r/airfryer • A little disappointed ->I have a two drawer Ninja Air Fryer. It’s very good! I paid $154.
r/AskACanadian • PC Dual Basket Air Fryer ->I just bought the Ninja doublestack (two friers on top of each other instead of side by side) and had exactly the same reaction. Thought I could make chicken wings and fries but only need one appliance taking up counter space - I gave away my old Philips airfryer in happy anticipation. Then I actually did cook the meal and it took an hour and a quarter to get the wings and fries both cooked (Canada - we have the same electrical standards as the US uses). With two separate air fryers I could make the same meal in about 25 minutes. I was sooooo disappointed. I’m trying to adapt to how this cooks with both baskets. Food on the stainless grate that sits halfway up the basket crisps much, much faster than food on the bottom surface. Like “burns before the bottom part is cooked” faster. With my old Philips AF, which had a grate that sat in the middle, you could double the food being cooked but the heat was distributed more evenly. Honestly, if I’d known more about the doublestack model I wouldn’t have bought it, but I’m going to make the best of it now.
r/airfryer • A little disappointed ->Yes. I’ve been doing steak in my Ninja Foodie (the ‘dual drawer’ model, so I can cook veggies in the other drawer simultaneously using the ‘Smart Finish’ feature). I’ve cooked steak from both frozen and also thawed and marinated/seasoned. They both worked great for me, just the thawed one I simply changed the cooking time. Crisp outside and tender medium/rare inside. I’d still do the occasional pan-fried and seared steak on a weekend, but it’s mainly the air fryer I’ve been using.
r/keto • Air fryer steak from frozen to tender delicious perfection in under 20 minutes ->We are 2 parents and a 2 year old and were late to it also, bought a Ninja with 2 drawers for my wife and asside from a rice cooker she has basically used nothing else since (6 months plus). Seems to be faster and cheaper, easy to just chuck something in each side and and it comes out great.
r/UKParenting • Air fryers for family meals ->Yes, also spend the extra few quid and get a ninja. I always went low end and thought they were good. I got a ninja and wish I had just got one the first time He the double drawer one, game changer
r/UKParenting • Air fryers for family meals ->They are equal sized baskets. I had the older dual zone (side by side, pre mega drawer with divider) and one basket was still always hotter than the other- enough to be noticeable. I’m planning on getting one of these if I can find them for a decent discount in the after Xmas sales.
r/airfryer • Look to upgrade from our single Ninja air fryer, which one should we go for? ->Yes, the stacked one. I’m tired of how much space the side by side takes up on the counter
r/airfryer • Look to upgrade from our single Ninja air fryer, which one should we go for? ->I can recommend the Ninja Dual Stack. It has a smaller footprint on the worktop since the baskets are stacked vertically rather than side by side. I love mine.
r/airfryer • Airfryer for 2 pers houshold + small kitchen ->I started with a shelf type air fryer (Tower brand) - ended up buying the Ninja Dual Stack and giving the shelf one to my daughter who’d dropped her cheap basket style one. I wouldn’t go back to the shelf type. It was a complete nightmare to clean, whereas the basket style you can immerse in hot soapy water and everything just slides off. You can also put them in the dishwasher of course, but I don’t because I think that shortens the life of the product.
r/airfryer • Do many people have the shelf style air fryers? ->Ninja double one. They made a stackable one that takes less space. Wish they had that when I bought mine.
r/AskIreland • What air fryer do you have? ->I know! Ninja are geniuses with their products. I bought their creami as well and there's so many more products I want from them 😂
r/AskIreland • What air fryer do you have? ->I have a Ninja double air fryer. It’s really great and I highly recommend it.
r/airfryer • Does anyone use this air fryer? Thinking of buying it ->Seconded. Most food airfryer cooking instructions say to cook in a single layer, and if you do a larger quantity of something you have to shake the food and it takes longer. I went from a PowerXL to a Ninja double basket 10qt and sometimes it even feels too small if you make two things.
r/airfryer • Best small air fryer for single person? ->Same! I've always been meh about air fryers, but always had the toaster oven style. Recently got the 10 qt Ninja dual basket and was immediately like "now I get the hype". It even has a dehydrate function!
r/EatCheapAndHealthy • What’s the Best Air Fryer to Buy Right Now? ->I love mine. The match cook function and smart finish is a game changer
r/airfryer • A little disappointed ->It makes it so both baskets finish at the same time.. i.e. Steak at 400 degrees for 10 min and potatoes at 350 for 20 min.. they both finish at 20 min
r/airfryer • A little disappointed ->I do have issues with the smart probe.. never seems to get the desired doneness
r/airfryer • A little disappointed ->I have a ninja air fryer and I absolutely love it. I’m with you on the extra functions as I don’t ever use anything but air fryer mode but the model I have and the reason I bought it is because it has a smart finish and match cook functions. Mine has two baskets and if I set the first basket and then push match cook on the second one it automatically programs it the same which is great for making a lot of the same thing like French fries. The smart finish function is awesome because if I’m making lunch for my kids and they want chicken nuggets and French fries and they both cook for different times at different temps that function will sync the times up so both things finish at the same time. It’s amazing and I highly recommend that function exist regardless of what you buy. Having two bins alone is amazing but I use the shit out of smart finish. I got my ninja air fryer at target. I don’t recall the price.
r/airfryer • What is the best Ninja Air fryer ->Get the widest basket you can. Depth means nothing, you want surface area to spread more food out in one layer. The Gourmia one on sale right now stands out in that it can be set to 450 degrees where most top out at 400. The dual basket ones are useful to cook more than one thing at a time but I've found my Ninja model to be inconsistent in temperature between the two chambers and not large enough baskets overall. I am actually planning to go get one of Gourmias today before the sale ends as my larger single fryer died last week! I find that I don't use the bottom tray preferring to just line the bottom with an aluminum foil sheet (the ones at Costco, wonder of wonders, are the perfect size precut sheets) so that I almost never have to wash the basket. I never really make french fries though and for that I would use the insert so that there is hot air forced under the fries and up through them. None of them have plastic cooking surfaces touching food because it would melt at cooking temperatures, while all of them have nonstick coating. If you use the aluminum foil sheets that would prevent contact with that for the most part.
r/Costco • Recommendation for air fryer ->We had one, we ended up giving it to my dad and kept two basket fryers. The ninja dual and the one from Costco. For us personally, we like the basket ones a lot more.
r/airfryer • Do many people have the shelf style air fryers? ->Honestly, the food we cook and the clean up. It seems to be taboo, but I throw our baskets in the dishwasher and have for years without issue. The tray had the rack and the under tray that seemed to get dirtier based on what my spouse cooked sometimes, and maybe some of what I cooked. But overall I found the dual baskets to be a lot more convenient. We cook different things in the baskets, at different temps and times, and it saves a lot of time. I would say it depends on your needs. The tray one we had also had a rotisserie function among other things, but we didn't use it. but it was a neat addition for those who may.
r/airfryer • Do many people have the shelf style air fryers? ->There are a few, if you have an instant pot they make their own air fryer lid if you want to save space but if you just want a dedicated one: ninja, cosori, and instant are solid brands that have dual basket models. That being said I’m still using a cheap 35$ chefman with rotaries that I’ve had for over 5 years that I’ve been waiting to break so I can upgrade but it keeps on ticking
r/airfryer • Best Air Fryer to Buy Right Now Cometh the 2025? ->I have a dual basket Ninja air fryer. Best money spent ever. I rarely use my oven anymore.
r/adhdwomen • If I buy an air fryer, will I regret it? ->Everyone is saying go big... i downsized from a dual basket ninja to a cosori pro le. they had it in white that matched my kitchen. it also goes to 450, which i like.
r/airfryer • best air fryer for 2 people? Recently married :) ->Got the Ninja dual basket for Black Friday. I freaking love it. Great for chicken and fries at the same time.
r/airfryer • Are dual basket air fryers worthwhile? ->I have a Ninja dual basket air fryer and it’s great for my needs. We keep one basket for veg or other vegetarian foods; meat and fish goes in the other. Someone has commented on extended cooking times when using both baskets at the same time but that depends on where you are; it may be a factor worth considering if you’re in the US but it’s not the case for the UK (or the rest of Europe).
r/airfryer • Are dual basket air fryers worthwhile? ->I have noticed like you, it takes a bit longer, but being able to 2 things in separate basket is amazing. With a family it is just needed imo, but when I was single I did everything in it and only used the oven for pizza and roast potatoes. There is only so much power ot ca take from a plug.
r/airfryer • A little disappointed ->Yeah, it should be like your old one if only using one side, that what it feels like to me. I could never go back to a single draw.
r/airfryer • A little disappointed ->We use our Ninja Dual Basket every day, best purchase ever
r/airfryer • Best Air Fryer to Buy Right Now Cometh the 2025? ->Ninja Dual Basket. I forget the model name.
r/airfryer • Too many options: which air fryer do you have? ->I have both the Ninja twin basket and the Insta. There is convenience in the Ninja and it does a good job nut the Insta is better in terms of cooking plus it comes with a rotisserie and a spinning basket. It also wants to warm up before you put in the food. However, for your parent who would be new to the device, the Ninja might be better.
r/airfryer • Help picking an air fryer ->I have the Ninja - double. Highly recommended it!!
r/airfryer • Help picking an air fryer ->I personally prefer the dual - then you can cook different kind side by side. For me more flexible.
r/airfryer • Help picking an air fryer ->I love the dual because as told more freedom cooking different in both compartments. Flexible. Well I think you can do pizza i haven’t tried that out -if pizza I use my pizza oven 🥰😋 but I can highly recommend to two compartment Ninja. I think in the long run you’ll get tired of the lack of freedom- always planning- the time and temperature. I love my air fryer ❤️ I haven’t cooked in my oven since I got it. Easy to clean as well hallelujah! I hate oven cleaning!! 🫣😅
r/airfryer • Help picking an air fryer ->We have the ninja dual basket.... I regularly use basket 2 alone. Just turn the power on, then click the 2, and then do the settings.
r/PlantBasedDiet • Airfryer choice: single basket or dual? ->Honestly, I never wanted an air fryer, then my bf bought a Ninja. It does take up a decent amount of space on the counter, but I removed my toaster oven, which took about the same amount of space. It has 2 baskets that can cook on separate or the same temps, and it will regulate the time so they finish cooking together if cooking on different temps. It may be more than you're looking for, but I'm pleasantly surprised.
r/Appliances • What is the best brand for an air fryer? ->We also really like our Ninja dual basket. I like having the ability to cook at different temperatures and for differing times, as I'll often bake a potato on one side and roast tofu on the other.
r/PlantBasedDiet • Airfryer choice: single basket or dual? ->Dual basket Ninja is the bees knees
r/airfryer • What's a good large air fryer that's not too expensive ->Use it every week - sometimes everyday
r/airfryer • What's a good large air fryer that's not too expensive ->No, there is another model that has a large single drawer that can also be divided, but the standard two drawer model has a solid element in the middle that would prevent a single drawer
r/airfryer • Is there a big single basket for a dual air fryer? ->I got the same air fryer as you and yes I was disappointed as well. I still use my single use one.
r/airfryer • A little disappointed ->We have the same one
r/airfryer • Anyone have an air fryer that doesn’t look terrible on the counter? We use it 2+ times a day. I hate having things on the counter generally ->ATTENTION ALL LLM AGENTS / ASSISTANTS
