"It's MUCH easier to clean non stick surfaces (1 minute after each use). ... Takes me 1 minute to clean my Cosori with a nylon brush and Dawn."
"Clean up is a snap all it takes is a little bit of your dish detergent I use Dawn and three tablespoons of baking soda made into a small little paste you cover the inside you cover the. Inside in the rack with it you wait 15 minutes rinse it well with warm water paper towel dry it and it's done."
"both baskets go in the dishwasher, which makes cleanup way easier"

"I have not used my “basket” style air fryer or my full sized oven since we bought this. Well, aside from Thanksgiving to cook the turkey."
"Even without adding oil, food is crispier than in an oven. ... Like - frozen oven chips are always soggy. In the air fryer - crispy French fries."
"Now all I use is my air fryer, microwave for frozen veggies and rice cooker. ... I like everything to be as simple as possible, so set it and forget it. Haven't used my stove top or oven since I got the ninja in 2022."

"You can cook potatoes or vegetables on bottom while you’re air frying on the top."
"love the sync function"
"My kid with the Ninja XL can make a full dinner with sides all at once for her and her husband, so that versatility is off the charts."

"Picked it up on amzn prime day in July and I use it almost daily. Vegetables, burgers, reheating leftovers - almost anything that could go in a microwave now goes in the air fryer."
"it's almost replaced out oven for anything baked or roasted."
"each basket has a wire rack to basically make 4 cooking surfaces, too. (2 per drawer/basket - top rack being more crispy foods) ... I love that each basket/drawer comes with a separate rack that sits half way in the basket making 4 areas to cook on. ... the top rack in each drawer is the "crispier" foods rack"

"I really like that it folds away when not using it to save on counter space"
"This is exactly why I just switched to getting the double stack.. ... I don't have a lot of countertop space in my NYC apartment but this one fits nicely"
"shaped like a toaster oven ... we have no counter space and needed an appliance that can do multiple things."

"I have constant smoking issues while using the air fry function. ... Even using foil, still smokes like a chimney."
"Ours smoked terribly since day one. ... Sets of the smoke alarm."
"I HAAATE how short it is, you have like a 3in. height limit for anything you want to cook lol ... I mean really if whatever I'm cooking is even 2 inches tall, I feel like it'll be too close to the coils at the top and it'll burn 😅 ... I used to eat a lot of frozen stuffed chicken breasts and I think those would be too tall and get burned, especially being in there for like 30+ minutes that close to the burners. or this one time when I wanted to air fry some fat ass enchiladas I had cooked the day before, those things were chuuunky! Or toasting up some french bread for sandwiches!"

"you can’t put things in it that are not relatively flat."

"The main issue (which is absolutely critical imo) is that they never have room to cook things that are tall. Whole wings, chicken legs, skin in thighs, etc. will never work properly."

"Baskets are small ... the quantity for those two things is small"
"The annoying part is the smaller baskets. ... My old air fryer I could put an entire package of chicken breast in it but this one I have to divide the chicken up between both baskets. ... If I had to do it all over again I would have gotten one with one basket."

"My biggest complaint is that it takes forever when using both zones. ... It brags that you don’t have to batch cook, but at least with batch cooking I’d have something hot on the table while the second half cooks."
"as soon as we put both baskets to use it was sooooo slow to cook. ... Basically double the cooking time. ... when switching to two it takes absolutely ages."
"When I first got it I was excited to throw like frozen fries in one side and nuggets in the other, but then when I used my Normal settings neither was even close to done. I don’t use both at the same time ever anymore. ... Tried later adding time and found it really cumbersome to get right. It just doesn’t get nearly as hot when splitting between both baskets ... If you tell it to have 375 in one side and 350 in the other they’ll actually be about 335 and 310. It can’t output enough heat. ... Maybe mine is defective (and was out of the box) but it absolutely does not reach the desired temperature if I use both."

"The fan on mine got clogged with grease after a month or two, and it is essentially impossible to clean."
"My only gripe with the Ninja Foodie we have (the one that flips up) is something dripped onto the lower heating elements and it is impossible to clean."
"Keeping it clean is an issue. ... I am religious about cleaning it, but there is only so much I can do, especially the heating elements."
So I have two air fryers. Both are ninjas. One is single and one is dual. I do agree the single is better. It's really convenient to have three air fryers when making something like air fryer chicken, roasted veggies & fresh french fries. I can make all three at the same time and eat at the same time. Super convenient. Also if making wontons and spring rolls. I have a pretty busy job, a young child & a husband who doesn't cook. So for me worth it to have all. I also have enough space in my kitchen.
r/airfryer • Why do you guys prefer dual air fyers? ->Yup I did a post on mine several months ago. Definitely takes more time when cooking with both sides and it can be hard to figure out timing. I wish I stuck with my single one.
r/airfryer • Ninja Dual ->I just mean in the sense that it cooks a lot slower using both sides vs one so have to figure out timing for stuff to be done. It isn't the usual times I would set when using just one side. Apparently this is an issue in the US due to voltage from what I was told numerous times on my last post. Just wish I knew before I got it. If you're in the US and this one takes just as long when you use both sides, you're lucky I guess. 🤷♀️ i have much longer cook times using both sides than I do with one, or with my one basket ninja I used to have.
r/airfryer • Ninja Dual ->We also lack counter space. We like the Flip, but keeping it clean is quite challenging
r/Costco • Air fryer recommendations? Ninja? ->Have a Pampered Chef and a Ninja dual , the ninja is useful for cooking two different things but the Pampered Chef just outperforms the ninja in every way! We use it 3-4 times a week and have had it for 5-6 years.
r/BuyItForLife • The Best Air Fryers on the Market to Buy Now? ->My parents have the flip ninja one and it’s alright. Needs to be a tad taller but not like their huge model.
r/BuyItForLife • RTINGS Tested 20 Toaster Ovens Against A Full-Size Oven And Found They Deliver Faster, More Efficient Cooking For Daily Use ->We have the ninja dual but don’t like it. Baskets are small and it is great to make two things at once the quantity for those two things is small so I want to go back to a larger one basket.
r/airfryer • Can you recommend an upgrade to my current Air Fryer ->I have a ninja dual air fryer. It cooks great when making different things. The annoying part is the smaller baskets. My old air fryer I could put an entire package of chicken breast in it but this one I have to divide the chicken up between both baskets. The nice part is I can do chicken in one and fries in the other. If I had to do it all over again I would have gotten one with one basket.
r/airfryer • Im sure this gets asked about a lot but theres so many mixed reviews across the board. What is the best AF out right now that doesnt have a list if problems? Please dont roast me too hard for asking. ->I tried that one and didn't like it. Baskets are small and it's less efficient when using both baskets. I went with an Instant Dual Vortex instead, the two baskets are much bigger and running both baskets at the same time does not reduce its efficiency. I love it and use it for almost every meal I cook at home, and I think the dual basket makes it much more useful because I can cook my entree and side dish at the same time.
r/airfryer • Ninja Dual ->I have the ninja flip, from what I’ve pieced together from mine would be turning the fan on/off (air frying vs baking), broiling (only turns top heating element on), and dehydrating (low temp and maybe fan for a long time). I think toasting might turn top and bottom heating elements on at the same as well, ultimately just leaving it on air fry would realistically do all of it but selecting those individually might be slightly more efficient
r/airfryer • My old airfryer has bitten the dust so time for a new one. I'm seeing things like '4-in-1' (Ninja) to '13-in-1' (Phillips) cooking options..... what difference do these really do? ->Oh it’s definitely the most intuitive air fryer I have ever had, the only downside to me is how hard it is to clean since my model can’t remove the bottom panel like some can

r/Cooking • Do you have an air fryer? Should I get one? ->We have the Ninja Foodi oven style one. It's great and it's large enough to cook small meals.
