I just picked up a Ninja Pro 10 in 1 and think it’s awesome so far. I’m picky about my kitchen equipment too.
r/airfryer • Air fryers that look like toaster ovens. Any good? ->I like my Ninja oven and air fryer combo for its versatility and speed of cooking - plus the results I'm getting on everything coming out of it are outstanding imo. Roasted a whole stuffed chicken last week as well as cooking scratch made pizza. Outstanding!!
r/airfryer • Why do you guys prefer dual air fyers? ->We have the Ninja dt201 and we LOVE IT. We've been using it and not taking proper care of it since it first came out. Some of the writing came off the buttons but it's obvious what they do after you press them lol. It's not that easy to clean. And if you aren't careful you can get food in the buttons. But it's awesome. We keep one of the included trays on the bottom shelf to catch drips which helps keep it cleaner
r/BuyItForLife • RTINGS Tested 20 Toaster Ovens Against A Full-Size Oven And Found They Deliver Faster, More Efficient Cooking For Daily Use ->I have a Ninja too. I think its DT201. Got a great price like 3 years ago when it was on sale at Kohls and they used to accept coupons for named brands I think they only come with one basket. I did buy a second one but its not OEM and I had to bend the handle a bit to make it work. Did you buy a second one from Ninja ? I've always wanted to try a dedicated air fryer though
r/airfryer • Air fryers that look like toaster ovens. Any good? ->Having used both (i transitioned from a basket style to an oven style), the optimal use case varies wildly. My current air fryer in an oven style Ninja 10-in-1 XL Pro. Pros for basket style: Quick meals that need little prep. More accessories you can buy (e.g. silicone mats). Good for 2-3 people at max per usage. Takes less time to preheat due to smaller volume. generates less heat. Smaller table footprint vs oven-style. From my personal knowledge, basket styles cook a little hotter than what's actually programmed. Downsides for basket style: Harder to clean - more nooks and crannies to reach. Also material is usually a very thin metal coated in nonstick surface. Uses less electricity per meal vs an oven type BUT cooks in smaller portions. Cannot cook larger things like whole chicken. Pros for oven style: Trays/racks are much easier to clean. Can cook larger things like a very small turkey. Uses more electricity per operation due to bigger volume, but this can be a blessing if you utilize this to food prep for the rest of the week. It also features a ton of other features compared to a standalone basket air fryer. Easily cooks for a family of 4-5. Amazing for friends gatherings and small parties. Downsides for oven-style: Huge footprint on the table. You can use it to cook a one-person meal but feels like a waste. Takes slightly longer to pre-heat.
r/Costco • Air fryer recommendations? Ninja? ->I actually find oven style easier to clean if cooking it with the tray/pan, since it's a smooth surface with raised edges.
r/Costco • Air fryer recommendations? Ninja? ->I just bought this and it arrived today: Ninja DT201 Foodi 10-in-1 XL Pro I bought it bc I watched a bunch of reviews on air fryers and it’s what looked like the best one out there for what I needed - large capacity and fast cooking time.
r/airfryer • Can't decide between these two. Help! ->I have a Ninja Foodi 10-in-1 XL Pro Air Fryer. Anyone can chime in if this is relatively low on forever chemicals? It’s an oven style air fryer, glass cover, and stainless steel (insert rows are also stainless steel). The only nonstick part is the removable baking trays which can be replaced by aluminum baking trays (eg Nordic ware). https://www.ninjakitchen.ca/products/ninja-foodi-10-in-1-xl-pro-air-fry-oven-zidDT201C
r/StopEatingSeedOils • Air Fryers that are Forever Chemical Free ->I agree I have two high end version of each type Dreo Chefmaker for my basket air fry needs (and combi fry) it may not have the space but the power is there. Wont get better chicken from a different one. Ninja DT250 series toaster oven style for my larger items. It 100% doesnt work the same as the basket BUT it does some things SO much better. Each has its use and cooks exclusively different things.
r/airfryer • My advice for buying an air fryer ->https://www.ninjakitchen.com/products/ninja-prestige-smart-xl-air-fryer-countertop-oven-zidDT501 This is the one I use. I bake sandwiches loaves in tin, banana breads, bagels, focaccia, pizzas, dinner rolls, cookies, and etc. I use this as my main baking oven. However you might have to decrease the temp by 25f or play around with times and temperatures with some recipes since it’s a convection oven. It only goes up to 450F too but that’s not problematic for my uses. It’s quite spacious but I’m not sure if it’s spacious enough for the Dutch oven you have. Maybe two sandwich loaf tins on top of each other might fit; but I haven’t tried that.
r/Breadit • Does anyone use a toaster oven/air fryer for baking bread? ->I second Ninja. I use my Ninja Foodi XL almost everyday. I’m almost ashamed. Feels like such a cheat to cooking haha! Gifted it to multiple relatives and they love it too.
r/rant • Every single air fryer recipe is a fucking lie ->I'm a big fan of my Ninja Foodi XL. I use it 99% of the time for air fry, but I have also made really quick pressure cooked soups, stews, slow cooked chili and even made yogurt just so I could try it out... not too shabby to be honest.
r/airfryer • Too many options: which air fryer do you have? ->A word of caution on Ninja, we have a foodie xl and after 2 years needs replacement parts (grill, pan, and basket). The cost to replace these parts is nearly equal to buying a new unit.
r/BuyItForLife • I am looking for a BIFL air fryer. Budget is $500 or less. What are some of your most recommendable suggestions? ->I can second this. I upgraded to a ninja foodi XL about 2 years ago, and its used literally 5-6 times a day by the household.
r/Costco • Air fryer recommendations ->I just got the ninja foodi xl pro air fryer toaster oven. It’s incredible. Air fry’s nice, roasts nice, toasts nice. Can do 2 racks for anything but toast obviously, so fries and wings. I’ve had it only a month, but so far it’s pretty top gear.
r/airfryer • Best Air Fryer to Buy Right Now Cometh the 2025? ->I’m the opposite I’d argue you would be disappointed with the basket type. I have a Ninja Foodie XL Pro and it’s my most used appliance hands down.
r/Costco • Air fryer recommendations? Ninja? ->Yes! I have the same one and it’s honestly been such a game changer - poke some holes in a potato and toss it in the microwave for 7 minutes then roll in a little oil and salt then 8 minutes in the air fryer (flip halfway) and it’s better than a restaurant baked potato. Frozen veggies? Toss them in the air fryer. Baked chicken thighs? Into the air fryer they go. I love the ninja because it’s the toaster oven shape (as well as being a toster oven) my sister has a non-ninja “bowl” type and I specifically got mine because I knew I would never use the other kind. I’m getting ready to upgrade to a larger ninja that can fit a whole roast chicken and I’m more excited than I thought I would be 😂
r/cookingforbeginners • Best air fryer companies in usa ->I love my ninja 10-1 air fryer. It's a toaster oven, a mini oven, an air fryer, a broiler, and more
r/cookingforbeginners • Best air fryer companies in usa ->I love my ninja 10 in 1. It's close to $150.…. But it's my toaster, my oven (fits a frozen pizza), and my air fryer
r/cookingforbeginners • Best budget air fryer? ->I love my ninja 10 in 1. Fits a frozen pizza. I bake small meals in it. Toasts. Broils. Idk if Sam has it but we got ours at Costco.
r/Frugal • Looking for recommendations - toaster oven air fryer combo ->I have one. It's been such a help and great with limited counter space in our small apartment. I can see why people are talking about the pain to clean BUT I have so far used parchment paper every time we use the air fry/bake settings. I got this to replace my old toaster and to not have to but a second appliance (air fryer). Is been his to us so far.
r/airfryer • Thoughts about Ninja Foodi 10 in 1 from Costco? ->True. But wouldn't that be a problem with most toaster oven air fryers? Another thing that I read about is that it might not cool things evenly, since the fan is on the sidez and not the top. But I guess that's something you need to experience with
r/airfryer • Thoughts about Ninja Foodi 10 in 1 from Costco? ->I did, and I found out after buying it that it's not the version you can open from the back so that was a bit of a bummer. But overall, we use it almost everyday and barely using our oven since we bought it. We flip it all the time and it does save counter space. But as mentioned by others it is very hard to clean so I just gave up at some point. I'll probably get a bigger one once we feel like upgrading.
r/airfryer • Thoughts about Ninja Foodi 10 in 1 from Costco?
r/airfryer • Thoughts about Ninja Foodi 10 in 1 from Costco? ->Love my ninja 10in1 airfyer
r/Costco • How is chefman 12 in 1 air fryer? ->Get one that looks like a large toaster oven. They usually have stainless racks and trays which will last a lot longer than the Teflon coated ones. Our Ninja 10 in 1 had lasted 5 years without issues.
r/BuyItForLife • The Best Air Fryer to Buy Now? ->I’m on my 4th in 2 years. Absolute garbage lol
r/Frugal • Looking for recommendations - toaster oven air fryer combo ->I think we have the ninja foodie 10 in 1 oven thing and we've only used our real oven like twice since we got it and that was entirely because the pizza was too big. There's something great about being like "yes, cook my burrito at 400 for 29 minutes and then shut off" that makes it so useful. Well setup food and not worry at all about it being done because it always is. There's even a thermometer and a setting system to get the internal temp to a preferred temp. "Is that chicken juicy or raw? Turns out it's juicy since internal temp hit 180." Sometimes I'll add things in stages so the veggies don't cook as long as the meat or something. We also went out and got random metal trays from a thrift store so we can load small portions separately. But really being able to setup the oven and just let the timer handle it is the bees knees. The one single con is just because a roast or bird CAN fit doesn't mean it SHOULD fit. If the fan is running and fatty meat is too close to the element you can get smoke from the fat. Which could also happen in a regular oven, it's just more noticeable in an air fryer oven. So only a small family roast, no holiday roasts or turkeys.
r/airfryer • Pros cons about the oven style airfryer? ->I have the Ninja Foodie oven one. I figured out some liners that solved the cleanup issue, and it’s my go to for cooking a big batch of chicken breasts.
r/airfryer • I analyzed Reddit for the 20 most recommended air fryers in the past year ->I got the ninja Foodie XL! I purchased it because I didn’t want to buy an appliance that has only one purposes. The ninja foodie grills, bakes, air fry, dehydrate, broil, and roast. I also got the larger version to do one round of cooking with the device instead of multiple.
r/Costco • Air fryer recommendations? Ninja? ->I echo this on the Foodie XL. Sees more use than my oven and stove combined
r/Costco • Air fryer recommendations? Ninja? ->We have the Ninja Foodi oven style one. It's great and it's large enough to cook small meals.
r/EatCheapAndHealthy • What’s the Best Air Fryer to Buy Right Now? ->I love my Ninja Foodie, not only is it a fantastic air fryer, it has so many other functions that I use
r/EatCheapAndHealthy • What’s the Best Air Fryer to Buy Right Now? ->Concur on ninja x in 1s. Toasts, air fries, bakes - the other "features" are kind of superfluous but the effect is the same. Also, mine folds up to the wall so it takes up a lot less counter space when not in use
r/Frugal • Looking for recommendations - toaster oven air fryer combo ->That’s what I’m looking at, same model but bigger. How long have you had it? Do you like it? I also have ninja foodie with air fryer function and I am assuming the basket for air fryer is also non stick and we have used it forever with birds around and it was fine… but that thing is so bulky and sits in the cabinet below the counter, I want to keep keep one on the counter….I’m still nervous!
r/parrots • are ninja air fryers safe? ->Given all the research you’ve already done, you’ve probably seen that giant comparison database of air fryers floating around Reddit [here, I bookmarked it](https://www.reddit.com/u/MaterialisticOcelot/s/AuYboNaNB6). It’s super handy if you want to line up the details down to the very last spec. I personally have the Ninja Foodi and really like it, but I wouldn’t really consider it a “budget” pick since it runs close to $200. That said, I do think you get what you pay for with these. I’d be careful about going under $50 on an appliance you expect to last.
r/cookingforbeginners • Best budget air fryer? ->Foodi pressure cooks just fine Depends. Any device with "air fry" mode is going to be a compromise compared to a real air fryer. Personally I find the Foodi's two lid system to be clunky and annoying to deal with. I pretty much just use my convection oven instead of the foodi. I use a stovetop pressure cooker myself. But I definitely wouldn't recommend the foodi for mainly pressure cooking because the air fryer lid is permanently attached. So that would be pretty much always in the way.
r/PressureCooking • Instant Pot vs Ninja Foodi vs Separate Air Fryer: Best for Pressure Cooking (Mostly) and Air Frying (Sometimes)? ->The foodi is the best!
r/Home • Should I get an air fryer or one pot? ->Check out the Ninja Foodi. We love ours. Makes perfect rice and so much more. Insta pot/pressure cooker, air fryer, slow cooker and rice cooker all in one. The only downside is it’s kinda big because of the extra air fryer lid. The pressure lid is always attached. Also the pot is dishwasher safe and is more ceramic like. Makes better rice than a rice cooker and better pulled pork than a slow cooker.
r/Home • Should I get an air fryer or one pot? ->Glad to see this and I wanted to echo the same. We’ve had our Ninja Foodi for 6 years and use it 2x a week at a minimum. It will die eventually, but I definitely feel it’s a worthwhile buy.
r/BuyItForLife • Can you recommend a BIFL air fryer? ->I have two Ninja air fryers that don’t have teflon. A Foodi and Foodi 6 in 1 (it toasts, air fries, etc).
r/parrots • are ninja air fryers safe? ->Not BIFL but Ninja Foodi took an absolut beating from us. It's slowing down but considering how much use we've got out of it I am damn impressed.
r/BuyItForLife • Can you recommend a BIFL air fryer? ->We use ours literally everyday. Prob like 6 years too. I find it takes a while to heat up now it's on its way out but we rely on this so much.
r/BuyItForLife • Can you recommend a BIFL air fryer? ->the ninja foodi is awesome!
r/airfryer • I analyzed Reddit for the 20 most recommended air fryers in the past year ->I had a Foodie for a few years until it stopped working. It was a great pressure cooker and a decent air fryer but I am much more satisfied with separate devices now.
r/PressureCooking • Instant Pot vs Ninja Foodi vs Separate Air Fryer: Best for Pressure Cooking (Mostly) and Air Frying (Sometimes)? ->Love my Nina foodi, aside from the size of it
r/airfryer • Don't believe America's Test Kitchen, the Instant Pot Air Fryer Is Mediocre to Bad At Best ->We like our Ninja Foodie. It has a large counter footprint when in use, but folds up against the wall.
r/Frugal • Looking for recommendations - toaster oven air fryer combo ->I have a Ninja Foodi air fryer that is still going strong after 5 yrs of usage and it is still geting use multiple times a week.
r/Costco • Air fryer recommendations ->Ninja foodi is my holy grail. I’ve had it for 5 years. I do everything with it. I couldn’t recommend a better one. Super plus is you can remove the cooking basket and wash it. It’s not connected to plastic. Easy to clean. Lots of function. Pressure cooking, baking, dehydrating, slow cooker, air fryer. List goes on.
r/BuyItForLife • Best Air Fryers to Buy? ->I like the Instant Pot much better. I got a Foodi as well, but am trying to resell it as I don't think it's as nice or useful. Plus the materials aren't as quality. The pressure cook option in my Foodi sometimes doesn't work whereas my 3 IPs always do and are really easy to clean. The Foodi has the Air Crisp option which is pretty nice, but not worth it for the sheer size of the Foodi. It's a beast and very heavy.
r/Cooking • Considering a Ninja Foodi (vs an InstantPot) would appreciate some advice ->Yeah this is the same reason I don't really use my Foodi. It's also very loud whereas my Instant Pot (I happen to have 3) are quiet as a mouse. For pressure cooking alone the Instant Pot brand beats Ninja out imo. I prefer the basic IP models, as they are really good at what they do, alas the Ninja does more. I like the air crisp option on my Foodi but I'm not sure that alone is worth it. Bacon and burgers are really good in it after pressure cooking but chicken is gross on that one I learned. Ninja just doesn't excel to me in pressure cooking as it sometimes doesn't come to pressure at all. I'm actually trying to sell mine after only using it a few times.
r/Cooking • Considering a Ninja Foodi (vs an InstantPot) would appreciate some advice ->I’ve had my Ninja Foodi for 4 years. Use it daily and it’s still fine.
r/airfryer • Air fryer that won't die? ->I’ve had a Ninja Foodi for years. Usually more than £100 but think you can get manufacturer refurbs off of eBay for close to that price. It’s more than just an air fryer. It also has pressure cooker, sauté, roast, dehydrate as well as other functions I don’t use. Best use for me is for sausages, can get up in the morning, chuck them in there for 13 minutes and they’re done without having to tend to them. Also use the pressure cooker for curries, and you can brown the meat in there first before switching to pressure. Mrs even used it to dehydrate orange slices to make her own Christmas wreathes. We wouldn’t be without it.
r/ketouk • Any ketoers use Air fryers? ->Ninja Foodi does just fine
r/airfryer • Is there an air fryer (or alternate) that can BAKE? ->It’s amazing honestly I love it it has so many options, 2 racks, a light, half way turnover timer, tons of cooking options such as baking, roasting, broiling etc. it also doesn’t have PUFAS/ PFAS or whatever all that stuff everyone is concerned about. The top rack also doubles as a cooling rack. It’s a bit of a pain to clean but that’s the same thing with most air fryers since they need ventilation holes in the surfaces to effectively circulate the hot air. The window is nice to be able to see your food. It’s a pretty nice size, enough to put enough food for 2 adults and 2 kids. It also comes with a cool little laminated air frying guide that shows about 60 different foods and how long to cook them for, what temp etc. it’s definately better than your typical chef man and lower end fryers priced at this range but if you’re looking for something a bit nicer around $120 I recommend the ninja foodie.
r/Costco • Has anyone tried the Gourmia air fryer oven? ->I bought a Ninja Foodi on sale for $189 and it lasted 4 years until the lights wouldn't come on in it anymore. It still fried and toasted at least 2 times a day everyday though. So we bought the same model again since the lights are not replaceable. Not technically BIFL, but we think it is worth every penny and inch of counterspace it takes up.
r/BuyItForLife • Best Air Fryers to Buy? ->The Ninja Foodi Air Fryer has a bake setting that I use all the time
r/airfryer • Is there an air fryer (or alternate) that can BAKE? ->Had a PowerXL one that worked great for about 5 years of near daily use before it bit the dust last year. Got a Ninja Foodi to replace it and have been pretty happy with it. I really like that it folds away when not using it to save on counter space and that its big enough to make a meal for the whole family.
r/EatCheapAndHealthy • What’s the Best Air Fryer to Buy Right Now? ->My Ninja Foodi came with a non-stick pot, but I bought a replacement stainless steel pot on Amazon. I also replaced the non-stick rack with stainless steel. If anyone is concerned about the inner pot it’s easy to replace. Worth a little extra investment to protect our birds.
r/parrots • PSA For anyone thinking about getting a ninja air fryer. ->Same here. Just buy a replacement pot and the problem is solved.
r/parrots • PSA For anyone thinking about getting a ninja air fryer. ->I have a Ninja Foodi that has been my primary device for years, bought one of these to combo with it as I couldn't pass up the pricing, and I actually use it more often my Ninja now! Of course there are certain functions that only my Foodi is capable of, but when it comes to plain ol' air frying the Gourmia is great
r/Costco • Has anyone tried the Gourmia air fryer oven? ->I'd vote for the Ninja foodie. I've been very happy with it after I bought and returned the Sur La Table. The slt is not only impossible to clean, but whoever designed & programed the UI (User interface) should be handed over to ISIS.
r/Costco • Air fryer recommendations? Ninja? ->Same, I did just purchase a stainless steel pot because my nonstick coating was starting to chip. Otherwise the things been trouble free.
r/BuyItForLife • Best Air Fryers to Buy? ->The Ninja Foodi and Cosori Pro are two of the best air fryers for even cooking, large capacity, and versatility. Instant Vortex Plus is another great choice with multiple functions like roasting and dehydrating. If you want something high-end, Breville Smart Oven Air Fryer is excellent.
r/BuyItForLife • Best Air Fryers to Buy? ->Ninja Foodi Dual Zone for multi-cooking, Cosori Pro LE for a compact design, Instant Vortex Plus for versatility, Breville Smart Oven Air Fryer for premium features, and Philips Premium XXL for large portions.
r/BuyItForLife • Best Air Fryers to Buy? ->Top air fryer picks include Ninja Foodi Dual Zone for multi-cooking, Cosori Pro LE for compact efficiency, Instant Vortex Plus for versatility, Breville Smart Oven Air Fryer for premium features, and Philips Premium XXL for large portions.
r/BuyItForLife • Best Air Fryers to Buy? ->I’ve never had any problems with any of my Ninja products (bullet, double stack XL, or slushi), but I will say that their instructions are more detailed than most, plus obviously they are more expensive, but I think that has to do a lot with product reputation. The only thing I don’t like about the double stack is that the top rack is so narrow. After finding[ this thread on Reddit](https://www.reddit.com/user/No-Competition-5766/comments/1i5jdq2/air_fryer_models_comparison_spreadsheet/) and comparing the different Ninja models, I think that the Foodi might be a better fit for me. I thought I’d share, though, as you can compare all the different brands.
r/airfryer • Ninja Double Stack XL — don’t buy it ->Yeah, this is weird - Ninja in the US has always said the opposite and people recommend them highly for that reason. I can even feel that mine are not like non-stick pans, it's definitely ceramic and not fully non-stick. I wonder if something changed, or if this is one of the things Europe/UK have less health restrictions compared to the US? We have a huge movement of objects being healthier for us, including pans and bakeware made without these chemicals. I feel like I mainly see the PTFE/PFOA-free pans compared to those with, now, even in cheap places like Walmart.
r/parrots • PSA For anyone thinking about getting a ninja air fryer. ->Coming back. As someone with two ninja foodi's and have recommended them for about 2 years now. Mine died just recently at the 2 year mark and they wont do anything about it. I have the big one remaining with the thermometer and I hope it lasts.
r/airfryer • Which air fryer would you buy, or definitely not buy, again? ->I had a Ninja Foodi, loved it and the surface area you have with it, it was great for reheating pizza. It doesn't crisp up the food quite as well as the basket style ones, but good enough. The fan on mine got clogged with grease after a month or two, and it is essentially impossible to clean. I cleaned it up as well as I could and used it another couple years, now I have a Dreo and the Foodi lives in the pantry until I need to reheat pizza. The Dreo is excellent. 10/10 as an air fryer, and the smart probe cooking actually works great, except I think mine had a software problem that would turn a 45 minute cook into 3 hours at random. A warranty replacement comes soon. The original works perfectly as a basic air fryer, so I'll give it to a friend. Ninja conventional air fryers I rate 1/10. I do not understand how they can not have a window so you know when the food is ready. We have one in our office kitchen, and unless you open it constantly, it is a total gamble how your food comes out. I have had a couple items that I followed the packaging directions and they came out burnt black and smoking. It's too bad because when you get the timing right, the Ninja does a nice job, just as good as the Dreo and better than the Foodi. Also, I don't understand why they have to preheat for longer than it takes to cool the food. An item that I know takes 4 minutes at 400 in my Dreo takes 4 minutes at 400 in the Ninja, but the Dreo requires no preheating and the Ninja needs a few minutes of preheating time. If the food comes out the same from both air fryers, why is the Ninja taking all that preheating time?

r/BuyItForLife • The Best Air Fryer to Buy Now? ->I recently bought the Cosori Pro 2 and it completely blew my ninjas out of the water. I had a Ninja Foodi and the Ninja AF101 and Dual Zone (endless cycles of upgrading and gifting to friends who didnt have an air fryer). Got a Cosori as an extra air fryer. It was $48 on clearance at walmart due to the red color not being very popular. The Cosori performs better than the Ninja in a very key aspect, the removable basket design. Since the sides are also detachable from the overall basket, they can add vents to the side of the basket. This allows the circulation of air to the underside even if the basket is completely full. Ninja's removable plate design would always result in a soggy underside if I overfilled due to the air being unable to circulate. In a scenario where both are half empty, they perform the same - slight edge to the Ninja. The removable basket vents no longer makes me afraid of just dumping a bag of fries This is not worth selling your Ninja and buying a new Cosori. These downfalls can be easily solved by preheating, shaking or simply not overfilling. But it's nice to just set it and forget it And just a preference, I infinitely prefer cleaning the dual basket than trying to remove a hot plate from the bottom
r/airfryer • The Cosori removable basket design is superior to Ninja ->Yes, the Ninja Foodi is one of the best air fryers. It has great feedback and reviews.
r/Cooking • What is the best air fryer ? ->I have the Ninja foodie and love it. Purchased the stainless pot to avoid the Teflon type coatings.
