They probably haven't been around long enough to really prove the test of time. However I have had the Ninja DZ401 for 3 years and we have used it almost daily. Edit: rephrased after having my coffee

Also ich kann Ninja nicht wirklich empfehlen. Unser erster Airfryer war ein Tefal Easy Fry für 70€-80€ und wir waren super zufrieden mit dem - nach dem Kauf war er auch fast Täglich im Einsatz. Das einzige "Problem" war, dass er nur ein Fach besaß. Daher entschieden wir uns einen mit zwei Fächern zu kaufen und damals war die einzige Vernünftige alternative der Ninja AF400EU (Damals \~180€). Auf Bildern Sah der sehr sehr geil aus. Da wir jeden Tag Airfryten, dachte ich mir, dass ich auch 180€ für ein Gerät ausgeben kann. Die Erwartungen waren bei dem Preis dementsprechend hoch. Als ich den Ninja ausgepackt hab, kam die Ernüchterung: Das Ding ist extrem Billig verarbeitet. Das Gehäuse wirkt extrem Billig und auch die Verarbeitung vom Plastik ist wirklich unterirdisch. Die Chromelemente sind auch nur verchromtes Plastik. Ich war echt enttäuscht, dass ein 180€ Gerät so billig wirkte und auch so schlecht verarbeitet war. Unser 80€ Tefal war auf jeden Fall um längen besser Verarbeitet (Viele gut verarbeitete Metallelemente + hochwertig wirkendes und sehr gut verarbeitetes Plasik). Aber technisch scheint Ninja in Ordnung zu sein, denn Airfryen kann er auf jeden Fall und ist bis heute noch im Einsatz. Das einzige was mich nervt ist die Bedienung via Drehknopf. Ich kann nur wärmstens davon abraten ein Gerät zu kaufen, bei dem via Drehknopf Modi auswählen kann und dann mit einem Druck auf den Knopf den Grillvorgang startet. Beim Ninja passiert es nämlich sehr häufig, dass sich der Knopf, beim Druck auf dem Knopf, leicht dreht und sich das Grillprogramm (Temperatur und dauer) verstellt. Ist halt mega nervig, da man das Gerät dann nochmal ausschalten und neu einstellen muss.

You should get the 400 if you ever cook for more than two or three people. They both have the same programs, etc. Ninja makes great air fryers! You won’t regret it I promise.

Love my Ninja af400 dual basket It's so nice to cooking the food you need and be done at the same time using the match button I never use my oven anymore

I have the ninja af400 dual basket and I love it was looking at this one to replace the big one but I did stay with my af400. Ppl are talking good about this one on the pic.

You’re definitely overthinking. I use an air fryer for lunch everyday so we bought an Instant Pot 10 quart air fryer and it gave us trouble almost from day one. The controls were flaky, and not responsive and the door was a terrible design. After a few years we swapped to a Ninja DZ401 Foodi 10 Quart 6-in-1 DualZone XL 2-Basket Air Fryer. We’ve had it almost a year and I absolutely love it.

You'll find that you'll use it a lot and having one with dual fryers is well worth the small extra cost. I'm in a similar family situation. It's not that we use both drawers at the same time all the time, but one is often in the wash, or dirty and waiting to be washed, or we're using one to cook the meal and the other to heat nans, or something like that. Ours has 100% changed the way we cook. We only turn the oven on once every month I'd say. That's usually for a large roast, even smaller roasts get done in the air fryer. It's not on your list, but we have **Ninja** Foodi MAX Dual Zone Air Fryer AF400UK and I think it's the best kitchen gadget we've ever bought.

We just got a new air fryer, Ninja foodi AF400uk dual zone 9.6L. We were gifted the smaller 7.6L AF300uk about 6 years ago, which was brilliant, but we wanted something a bit bigger. I got it from the Ninja website when it was on offer a month or so ago and you can get an extra 10% off your first order if you sign up to them. Paid about £165 for it. We use it almost every day for a family of 4.
