Ninja OPC300 series, most definitely. We use it 3-4 times a week minimum
I have the Foodi, the one that doesn't need a separate lid. I've had it for around 3 years I think. It's a big chonky machine, but I love it and recommend it to everyone. I use it more than the hob at this point! The modes I use the most are air frying, pressure cooking, sear/saute and bake. The stream to air fry mode is also great for making a whole chicken! My boyfriend has been using it when at my place and likes it so much he's going to replace the Instant Pot he has at his place with a Foodi because he wants an air fryer and it's much nicer to have it all in one. The one downside it has compared to a normal air fryer is that the basket is not very big, and it's also quite noisy compared to dedicated air fryers. Personally, the trade off is worth it for me. Happy to answer any more specific questions!
I also do not like one job kitchen appliances. I have the ninja foodi, which is a pressure cooker, slow cooker and air fryer all in one. I use it almost daily!!! Steaks, veggies, rice, pot roast, recipe book says I can even make yogurt and cakes/breads in there that I haven’t done that. I basically only use the oven for large items now
Family of 4, and I have a ninja foodi 9 in 1... Basically looks like a large toaster oven. Our boss bought one for the staff lunch room, and I was sold the day a coworker baked a frozen pie for us. The size and shape make it really versatile. We often throw hash brown patties or several slices of toast in it; we use it for fries or onion rings multiple times a week, and have also used it for roasting potatoes, asparagus, and more. I haven't tried the dehydrate setting yet but everything I have tried, it works.
We have a ninja foodi since it serves several functions. Air fryer. Slow cooker. Pressure cooker. Dehydrator. Steamer. Etc. We live in an RV full time and have extremely limited counter space but it still made the cut for us. I'm currently making shredded beef for enchiladas in it. It's easy enough to store under our dinette seat.
You’re relative sounds like a tool. It’s a nice product, but it’s very weird and rude to me, for someone to just buy an appliance for your home. It’s expensive enough that you feel obligated to keep it, but many people don’t have room for that type of thing. It’s just weird, like someone coming into your house and just hanging a large picture on your wall. As for the appliance itself, it can be useful. It’s not a fryer. It’s a high powered convection oven. It does a very good job of oven things, but faster. It’s a decent replacement for a toaster oven, if it’s shaped that way. We have a ninja foodi with a pressure cooker attachment. It’s good, but we probably under utilize it. It’s also a little small. So it’s sometimes awkward to get everything in. You aren’t cooking for a crowd with then either. It’s good for a couple of people, though. It does a great job in reheating things that don’t typically reheat well. Pizza, fried foods, etc.
Yes and no. It’s basically a tiny convection oven. It isn’t gonna be close to as good as fried. Reheating things, it does great. I think it actually does the second or third best hotdog outside of charcoal grilling and does it fast. It’ll get crispy and charred. Ours is a ninja foodie, which doubles as a pressure cooker. I’ve done small bone in hams. 3min a pound after it comes to pressure, then switch to the air fryer lid and toss on a glaze. Comes out great. Size is a concern for things like that. Some people actually take the bowl to the store, so I hear. If you’re gonna get one, pick one with multiple functions and make sure it’s something you’ll actually use semi-regular.
Ninja foodi, air fryer, toaster over all in one. We use this almost every day at home. Works great in the camper too.
I got the ninja foodi pressure cooker and air fryer combo a few years ago and it quickly became the most used appliance in the house. I initially had thought that it too was a glorified convection oven but got it anyway because I was looking for a pressure cooker. The key difference is that it can really get the air moving, eliminating steam pockets that prevent crisping. It only takes 2 minutes to preheat. And since it doubles as a pot, it also does stews. The big hack for me is that I can cook and brown a large batch of minced meat on both sides by first frying the bottom with the saute mode till I get browning, then following it up with 5 mins of air frying to brown the top. all in the same pot.
Yeah I got a ninja that's the pressure cooker/air fryer 2 in 1 machine and I love it. It air frys really well and the pressure cooker is better than I thought it would be. I use it quite a bit. You just have to preheat it for the air fryer but it only takes a few minutes. It's very consistent so you get a good feel for how long you need to heat stuff
We have a Ninja Foodi combo air fryer/pressure cooker and it is incredibly versatile. From the best reheated French fries to a rack of ribs in one hour, the appliance is easy to use and has almost daily use. I bought liners on Amazon to reduce the amount of cleaning needed when used for simple air fryer functions. Like others have said, I don't have to use the oven on these hot summer days. I've been looking into replacing our microwave with one that has air fryer functions built in
