I got the Ninja 5-in-1 Foodi Pro 4 quart years ago for my husband and I. It has a grill plate and thermometer probe. He's passed and it is still perfect for me. The grill function works great. It is easily cleaned and I don't have a dishwasher.
Ninja. They make so many, and their no stick coating seems to be some kind of aerospace grade ceramic enamel. It's very long tasting and nigh bullet proof. My air fryer can reach over 550 f to properly heat up its heavy steel grill insert. Ninja Foodie, 5 in 1 indoor grill with air crisp (air fry)
I’ve had a few types of air fryers-my vote for the best type is the Ninja 5 in 1 with CERAMIC pans. They clean up like a dream and all pieces can go into the dishwasher, including the ceramic basket and the stainless removable mesh cover protecting the heating element!
Get the Ninja Foodi Personal (3-4 quart) - smallest footprint but still functional for 1-2 people.
I have a Ninja Foodi 5-in-1 which comes with a grill plate so you can grill a burger or a ribeye indoors without setting off the smoke detector. I had it in an apartment. (The meat thermometer feature doesn’t work very well so don’t pay extra for it.) I used it so much in the first 6 months that I literally never used my oven and started storing pots and pans in the oven.
I used mine so much that after the first six months I realized that I had used my oven ZERO times, so I started storing pots in the oven and kept the air fryer in a sheet pan covering the two left stove burners (which I rarely used). I’m not a big baker, though. I value crispy and crunchy textures highly and I love roasted vegetables, which the air fryer excels at. My specific model (Ninja Foodi 5-in-1) comes with a grill plate and is virtually smoke-free—I could grill a burger or a ribeye without setting off my smoke detectors. (All this is past tense because I used to live in an apartment, but then I was laid off so I moved in with family.)
Keine Frage - Ja!
Ninja (in the US at least, I've heard mixed things about UK) should be safe - we have birds and this is a requirement. Double check what you're buying, and ask the manufacturer to be sure. We have the Foodi Grill/Air Fryer, and a Ninja toaster oven. Gourmia was also safe when we got that years ago, not sure if that's still the case.
I make air fryer sliders all football season long. Wings are also fire. I have the Ninja Indoor Grill/Air Fryer that also works as a dehydrator. It's bigger than a standard air fryer but I actually do use all the functions.
Love our ninja appliances. We have the foodi indoor grill/airfryer machine and it is great for convenience and minimal cleanup. It is used frequently throughout the week. It can grill, roast, bake, air fry and even dehydrate food. We also have the outdoor woodfire grill/smoker which is just as nice. It's easier to make smoked food than my cabinet smoker and is better in adverse weather conditions.
I've had a ninja foodi grill one for years and it's still good. I will keep it for many more years, possibly decades. Got it on eBay for much less than retail and it shipped from the manufacturer, somehow. I think $150? Well worth it. I use wax paper liners in it to make cleanup easier, also worth it.
