I got the Ninja 5-in-1 Foodi Pro 4 quart years ago for my husband and I. It has a grill plate and thermometer probe. He's passed and it is still perfect for me. The grill function works great. It is easily cleaned and I don't have a dishwasher.
I’ve had a few types of air fryers-my vote for the best type is the Ninja 5 in 1 with CERAMIC pans. They clean up like a dream and all pieces can go into the dishwasher, including the ceramic basket and the stainless removable mesh cover protecting the heating element!
Get the Ninja Foodi Personal (3-4 quart) - smallest footprint but still functional for 1-2 people.
Ninja. They make so many, and their no stick coating seems to be some kind of aerospace grade ceramic enamel. It's very long tasting and nigh bullet proof. My air fryer can reach over 550 f to properly heat up its heavy steel grill insert. Ninja Foodie, 5 in 1 indoor grill with air crisp (air fry)
I have that Ninja 5 in 1 indoor grill air fryer, and I love it. Built in removable spatter shield, 10 inch heavy steel ceramic coated grill insert. 10 inch, easy clean ceramic coated air fry basket. It cooks perfect steaks and other grilling meats to perfection. I've cooked everything you can imagine in that Ninja grill fryer over its past 4 year career and use it daily thanks to it's durability and ease of use.
My first air fryer is a Ninja Foodie 5 in 1 indoor grill with air crisp (Air Fry). It not only does its job to perfection, it's ceramic no stick coating has soldered on for 4 years of heavy use. It is very easy to clean. Comes with removable spatter shield so burner housing doesn't get gunked up and smokes. Did I mention it grillsa perfect steak or fish.
There's a Ninja for every lifestyle, it seems. I have both their indoor grill air fryer and their classic big single drawer air fryer. Both have served me very well and reliably for 4 years. I am definitely getting a bigger 6 liter Auto Advanced glass tub airfryer simply because it can handle different types of tubs and has an extra powerful heating element fan. Unlike its smaller glass bowl fryer, the bigger fryer is better value for the 5 the heating head is mounted on a stand with a rising glass bowl holder for handling different depths of bowls. These are oven grade glass bowls that come with lids. Once cool, they are safe for fridge or freezer.
The basket is darn near impossible to really clean.. I have had mine for years and the cooking is great, the cleaning….not so much. I think that is the chink in the AF armor I’m general though.
Get a cheap air fryer. The first pic, taking the hot element out suuuccccckkkkkk 😩! Great for a chesy crust but I never use it. Second pic, it’s just too expensive knowing air fryer hot to be replaced every 2/4 year or so
Do not buy that Instant Pot. I had the Ninja, and it was great until it went out. If you want an air fryer, then get an actual air fryer.
I have the Ninja and use it 3-4 times a week. Not in a place where I can have an actual grill so I use it frequently to make burgers and steaks. I think it does a really good job on both but I've never had a different one.
