XL Pro Air Fry Oven DT200

I've had two Breville Smart Ovens, the last one was the pro, and both were terrific; combined, they lasted almost 13 years. This time I went with Ninja Foodi XL Oven Air Fryer (DT200). It is smaller in width and depth, and slightly taller in height. The controls are on the handle so the interior volume is much larger and we can actually cook on two racks easily.

I never use it for toast as I have a toaster. Air frying works great - no uneven hot spots and I have to reduce by a minute or two from directions as it overcooks slightly.

I just bought a ninja 8 in 1 air fryer toaster oven, search on amazon and look for the used price. I got a refurbished one for $100

I have the Ninja Foodi XL Pro and it’s been great. I honestly think a lot of the “air fryer” marketing is nonsense. They are tiny convection ovens and they do a great job as a tiny convection oven. But they aren’t this special mysterious separate thing. I use my Ninja Foodi exactly like I used my last convection toaster oven and they are pretty much indistinguishable. They do a fantastic job!

We use the Ninja air fryer that flips up for more counter space. We have had it for well over 3 years. It works good as an air fryer. Makes good toast and has other functions. I travel and regularly use other types of air fryers and many of the basket style work great but are smaller in capacity. I can vouch for the Ninja 8 in 1.

I have used both the basket type and this type. Both work fine as air fryers 🤷‍♂️

I do like the bucket style for wings and such. But for Salmon, Cod, and other fish the 8:1 works great.
