Based on 1 year's data from Feb 15, 2026 How it works

I can't remember what the first one was. Something I found cheap or something. The next one was a 4qt Cosari - loved. Then they did the recall and replaced it with 5.8qt. Loved it more. Just recently upgraded to a Nuwave Brio 7qt. We live the size and how uts easier to clean than the Cosari (although the newer model cosari ceramic units would be equally as easy). But, beyond that we don't live it more than the Cosari. I'd recommend either with the understanding that presets aren't great on either, but I found the presets easier to use (and adjust) on the Cosari. The Nuwave has more presets but the process to access them and limits in adjusting them make me rate the Nuwave lower on that category.

If you’re considering waiting for Black Friday, keep an eye on [the nuwave](https://www.reddit.com/user/ayo_ninja/comments/1osheqi/how_i_met_my_air_friyer_3/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web3x&utm_name=web3xcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button). they usually drop some pretty decent deals. I switched to the nuwave brio after my old fryer died and it’s been great. Big basket, heats fast, super consistent, and doesn’t feel cheap like some other brands, imo

in my opinion ninja, rellytech and [this nuwave](https://www.reddit.com/user/ayo_ninja/comments/1osheqi/how_i_met_my_air_friyer_3/) is best for price 100-150 would not recommend cosori unless you want something lower $100, its ok but these 3 better for sure.

nuwave brio, easy to use, not expensive, really good quality

We just got the Nuwave Brio. It's REALLY good, kind of expensive though. It does regular oven stuff, air fray and rotisserie. I am legally blind and I can read the display without assistive technology. High contrast buttons, and a giant blue/green LED display (I don't know which, blue or green.) It does have an app, but I've never used it.

Oh, ok. The buttons are soft buttons, so there's no tactile feel to them. You could totally put bump dots on them though. The controls are simple enough. Power (bottom left), Temp up or down, starting at default 350F, and then time up or down, default 15:00m. There are other controls but I've never had to sue any of the other buttons for anything.

I found some of my notes from the comparison. Here's the short version: Cuisinart toaster oven which we already owned \- yes it "does convection" but not really an air fryer. No programs. No probe **Ninja Foodi XL** Small baskets  Proprietary thermometer Loud beep Not too deep Wide At 400 front and sides 125.  Vent 145 Top 75 Loud switching on off.   Loud beeps Just shut off.  No success message Front panel an uneven sticker on buttons Lots of plastic inside and out 65 db Plastic smell when heating first two times **Dreo Chefmaker** Small outside  Big tray Tray with lots of airflow Front 125 Sides 72 Top 80 Says finished Stays cooler outside Small footprint Like the app and clearly picking things.  Quiet and cool Insert food and forget it Made an amazing steak when set on 400 Good steak on Chef mode **Nuwave** (note: this one was the one that looks like an over. EXTREMELY customizable but not very intuitive even for someone like me who normally gets it and can figure things out. I was confused by it.) Front 81 Sides 95 Top 105r Back ?? Big.  If setup 5 inches away from all it’s too big 65 decibels Lots of presets App is very foreign.  Lots of errors and goofy things like you must choose a food allergy Doesn’t tell time remains king to preheat.  Brussels sprouts recipe take 0 time Preheat for unknown time then have to wait around to insert food Cooking steak.  Says 14 min but there’s no way…. Can’t tell how long it will take.   Due to probe cover it’s a pain to. Insert the probe.  Evidently you have to have the probe in when you begin the program or it’s ignored.  Takes two hands to hold food and remove probe.  Also a pain on level 3 with grill insert which blocks it.  Steak was way over cooked and there’s no burger or steak that would ever take 15 min at 425.    Stinks up kitchen more than Dreo. Smells like smoke.  Drip tray is not nonstick and tough to clean Written rack directions differs from machine instruction  Grilled beef burger or steak Second steak.  Used app.  It didn’t do stages.  Why not?   Came out light brown and rare. Set to 125 but after 5 min was just 114. Fail

Not gonna lie, [this Nu⁤wave](https://www.reddit.com/user/CalmSeaweed1360/comments/1odyneb/best_air_fryer/) is easily my favorite kitchen item ever. I use it almost every day now. It is faster, cleaner, and it does not turn my kitchen into a sauna like my oven does. It's priced gr⁤eat on Am⁤azon.
