Our Place - Wonder Oven Pro

I found this modal took 2x longer too than my previous air fryer - so I returned it. Don't know if it was an issue with my specific one, or the modal overall but it was frustrating. The one I replaced it with (our place air fryer) didn't take nearly as long as the flip either.

I would not recommend this, and i own one now for a few months and looking to replace and sell mine. Issues that i come across: \- cant do fine adjustments on cook time and really the timer doesn't work unless it past like 3-4 mins if not 5. As in the machine does not turn on unless its past 5 mins. \- temp that it states on the unit, it falls short about 25-40 degrees sometimes. I have a chef iq probe that i cook my meats with and it tells me internal temps and ambient them so that's how i gauge it. \- if you cook for a long time and need to go beyond 45 mins it will over heat sometimes and requires a cool down for it to function properly. I got a replacement unit just incase this was a defect. same issue. \- no pause or safety stop, you can open the door any time and it just keeps going. You cant pause or stop the timer or cook to say flip your item or adjust something. \- door does not open flat and is on an angle which can be an issue if you need to slide your pan out from the lowest rack or clean the drip tray \- nonstick tray doesnt work well. eventually it does stick and i never even used it for food (just catching drip items so it does not touch the heating element) i almost always have to cover it with tin foil to avoid cleaning it. \- for $240 Canadian before tax the build quality does not match the price tag. I got this because i had a small space on my counter top but now I'm looking for a new one. Now the pro, sure it cooks the food just fine and is pretty, but user experience isnt great at all. literally felt like i brought a toy easy bake oven in terms of quality. if any of these issues are fixable and i missed it in the guide or instructions let me know but would not recommend this unit currently.

I love having it. I hate cooking. It makes heating up food super easy. I tried chicken in it last week and it was soooo good!

We have one and really like it! I have no complaints. I also didn't notice the outside gets hot, but maybe that is my poor attention to detail 😂 We are a family of three and it is plenty big enough for our needs.

The bottom coil is in the way from really being able to clean it. That's the biggest flaw. That takes it down 2 notches imo. Highest I could go is an 8/10.

We like ours a lot, although I’ve never had a different air fryer to compare it to. The only two gripes I have are that the outside gets hot so I can’t store things next to it and I can’t turn off the loud “ding” when the timer goes off.

Yep, it has a lot of interior space for its size! Feels like an efficient use of space.

It has multiple settings and uses ceramic nonstick. I got it for Christmas last year and use it almost everyday, it’s amazing!

The Our Place one is solid, the tray it comes with has a nonstick coating, but you can swap it out for a stainless steel one

Thank you, just looked into it and it’s also the our place one! Definitely feeling good about the non-toxic aspect of it but hoping to hear some reviews on functionality to feel a bit more confident about the purchase.

Sorry it’s not working out for you, I’m sure that’s frustrating! I did end up buying one and I love it so far. I would say I did expect a little more for the price but I’m happy knowing it’s a non-toxic option compared to the Teflon coated ones. I tend to use mine for air frying frozen items or roasting veggies so I don’t really encounter any of the issues you’re experiencing. Sounds like you’re needing something a little more dialed in and professional for what you’re using it for and that’s totally understandable.

Love ours! We use it all the time, the toast function is great. You have to be careful with the nonstick ceramic pan- you can easily scratch off the nonstick finish. Our old one, I used scrub daddy on and it started to get stuck on food. We purchased a new set of pans and this one I’ve only used a natural fiber dish brush and it’s still very easy to clean.

PFAS-free ones exist but rare. Look for stainless steel or glass interiors, no nonstick label. Wonder Oven’s decent but pricey. Honestly, a regular oven + wire rack does the same job safer.
