Panasonic flashxpress air fryer. Period the end.
Ignore all recommendations that aren’t the Panasonic Flashxpress toaster oven + air fryer. I don’t want to overstate - but it’s a great, durable air fryer. But it’s a **fantastic** toaster oven. One of the few that uses infrared heat as a toaster oven. I’ve never had toast this uniform or quick before. It’s freaking magic. Plus, no pre-heating required because of IR. There is good reason that the (non air fry) Flashxpress has a cult like following. The air fry version is still net to the market. But definitely picks up where the OG Flashxpress left off. It’s a little pricey up front. However, unlike a lot of the more mainstream/popular brands. Panasonic actually sells replacement parts. So you can keep your machine running for years. IMO that’s the way to go when being frugal.
Go with the oven-style air fryer. The basket ones are bottom of the barrel quality wise. Idk what it costs in euros, but check out the Panasonic Flashxpress (air fryer version) that one is excellent.
Avoid the basket style. Those are bottom of the barrel quality wise. The only brand I’ve found that works well and actually supports their products with spare parts that **are actually serviceable** is the Panasonic Flashxpress (air fryer). Bonus points is that it’s the best damn toaster I’ve ever used. It’s insanely quick and toasts perfectly even because it uses infrared elements.
The Panasonic Flashxpress is excellent
1) Avoid basket style air fryers. These are bottom of the barrel quality wise and usually come from some random internet company that sells under 10 different brands on Amazon 2) Look to brands with legendary status in the kitchen space and has a track record of supporting their products with replacement parts (enter: Panasonic) The Panasonic Flashxpress (air fryer/toaster) is excellent. Longevity is a question mark because it just came out. But they have a great track record of putting out excellent products and providing parts of something should break. (Unlike Amazon brands where the whole thing goes in the trash when something breaks) Bonus points: the IR elements on the Panasonic make the best damn toast I’ve ever had. And super fast too.
Yes. IMO they’re built much better than the basket style ones and with almost no plastic too. Check out the Panasonic Flashxpress air fryer
Interesting. I had the opposite experience. It was the best and quickest toaster I have ever owned. Literally to the point where I would tell people unprovoked how great my toaster is lmao. 2.5min flat, and I have perfectly even and toasted bread on both sides… Did you use the air fryer one or the OG Flashxpress? It might depend on the bread you use though too.
The basket style air fryers are bottom of the barrel. All that heat and steam is the enemy of electronics, and in these style air fryers it rises right into the control board and causes failures. IMO get the oven style. Check out the Panasonic Flashxpress XL. Excellent af, toaster and toaster oven. Plus Panasonic sells spare parts. So if something breaks it can be repaired. These other brands intentionally design their air fryers to not be repaired.
Panasonic flashxpress air fryer (not the toaster oven). It’s the only air fryer I’ve seen that’s supported with spare parts.
Without question the Panasonic Flashxpress air fryer not sure what the price is in Italy though.
In my experience none of the combo machines ever live up to expectations. I’d get a stovetop pressure cooker (Fissler/Kuhn Rikon) and a Panasonic Flashxpress air fryer. Both of those are the best of both worlds.
Currently the Panasonic Flashxpress (air fryer not toaster) is the only BIFL option because they actually sell replacement parts. Unlike the rest which are designed specifically not to be repaired.
Panasonic Flashxpress air fryer. I used to own the flashxpress infrared toaster back in the day and loved it which is what drew me to the air fryer. Panasonic is one of the few companies that actually supports their air fryers with spare parts. Instead of throwing it in the trash like other Amazon-only crap.
Panasonic flashxpress air fryer (not the toaster) is excellent and I believe the only air fryer on the market that is supported by spare parts.
Panasonic Flashxpress (air fryer not the toaster oven) it’s arguably the best air fryer anyways. And is stainless to boot.
Panasonic Flashxpress (air fryer not the toaster, although the toaster oven is excellent too) It’s the only air fryer (and toaster oven) I’ve found to be supported with spare parts you can buy direct from the manufacturer.
Panasonic Flashxpress air fryer hands down.
Panasonic Flashxpress (air fryer not the toaster) is excellent and fits the bill you’re looking for.
Two separate appliances. Avoid combo machines like the plague. They’re all junk. 1) Airfryer: Panasonic Flashxpress (not the toaster oven) it’s the only air fryer that is actually supported with spare parts. All other brands are designed to be thrown in the trash when it breaks 2) Slow cooker - and good old plaid/pattern crock pot from goodwill for $12. Personally though - after getting a stovetop pressure cooker (Fissler) my slow cooker has been collecting dust.
Both of these brands are junk tbh. I’ve burned through both brands in 18 months each. Absolute garbage. The Panasonic Flashxpress air fryer is the only one worth the price. They also actually sell parts, unlike other brands you can actually fit it if it breaks.
Personally, I just went through this and did a ton of research. For me it came down to the Breville and the Panasonic FlashXpress family size(the one with the airfryer). I went with the Panasonic and am extremely happy thus far. A big factor for me was that it makes extremely good toast to the point where I no longer need a toaster. It also has a significantly smaller footprint. The Panasonic also has spare parts available for repairs, which was important as well. Don’t think you can go wrong with either!
Panasonic makes a combo air fryer/microwave. I like it a whole lot.
I have the original. It works great. Bought the 11-1 Airfryer version. Didn't cook toast well and took 5-6 mins. Tried with bread and bagels. Tried fries and other stuff in the new one. Didn't work great. Not awful, but my ninja worked better. It did make pizza very well with the pizza stone. For my main uses, Airfrying and toasting, my ninja basket fryer and OG Panasonic FlashXpress toaster are way better. The Panasonic flashxpress 11-1 doesn't even have settings for how brown you want the toast, so you have to remember how many minutes to toast based on color. Also, if you use it once and then try and cook another set of toast, the timing is different.
