I love my Philips 2000 Series 6.6QT (6.2L). It works great, it's very easy to clean, and I really like the window. I don't have any experience with the other one.
I only cook for myself and it is plenty big enough for that. I would say it's big enough for 2 people's worth of one thing like fries, wings, breasts, etc. Maybe even 3 people's worth depending how much you eat. The downside is cooking one thing at a time. Also remember that there is a divide in the dual basket so it might be harder to cook big things even with a larger capacity.
First of all, stay far away from 2QT. That is way too small. Also, there are some decent cheap brands like Gourmia and Chefman. I actually got a nice Philips 6.6QT pretty cheap ($90 CAD/$65 USD) and I love it. Got my mother an 8QT Chefman for the same price.
5ish minimum. I use mine for just me and I wouldn't want much smaller than my 6.6. A light eater might be ok with like 4QT but I guarantee you will soon wish you had something bigger. Better too big than too small.
Gw pake Phillip NA 2000 230 kapasital 6,2L. Oke2 aja sih ini. Beli buat pelengkap aja, jadi kalo makanan berkuah di microwave, kalau yang kering2 pakai ini
I didn’t expect to be impressed by air fryers, but after using one consistently, I get why people hype them. The first thing that made me obsess was how well they replace the oven for small stuff. You can basically take oven instructions, drop the temperature a bit, shorten the time, and it just works. Second thing: reheating food. Leftover pizza, fries, even random takeout gets a second life. The fires and pizza don't become soggy. Third, store-bought doughs. Croissants, cinnamon rolls, frozen pastries. Toss them in and they bake evenly and surprisingly fast. Fourth, meal prep proteins. Chicken thighs, tofu, even salmon. You get good texture and for batch cooking, it’s surprisingly consistent. I didn’t think I’d use it this much, but it’s become part of my routine. I’ve seen a ton of different air fryers online, from Amazon to Alibaba, but honestly the concept matters more than the brand. Curious how others use theirs for meal prep specifically. Any underrated foods that work better in an air fryer than anywhere else? **Edit: Thank you all for your wholesome responses. I'll do a follow up post on recipes. Be on the lookout👀**
Philips 2000 Series, 6.2 L
Recently bought the Philips NAD231 6.2L and I'm happy with it. Yung mga cheap air fryers are underpowered. Usually 1500 watts or below.
I went with Phillips because i know Phillips after sales would be responsive
It does its job well. Fast i am not sure as this is my first air fryer. It took 22-25 mins to cook soya tikki plus 10 min preheat
