Philips - 3000 Series Airfryer XL HD9270/90

I have the hd 900but the digital touch screen one. I would highly recommend anyone who sees this if you are planning to buy that, do not buy, go for the analog version. Reason being is that I was excited about different functions and everything but over a period of time, as I got more hold of how to use it in terms of timings and temperature, I just used the timer and temperature button only. Rest all, waste. So i would recommend analog version. Rest, yes there are scratches on the basket and that is something which I feel is not avoidable. I just saw on youtube how the other airfryer works and i feel after a point, you would just get frustrated with removing that thing out. In hd900, the basket feature is convinent. So yeah, if you can get around with the budget, I would suggest hd900

Single person here - get the bigger one. I use mine to cook things like veggies and salmon fillets and it works out much better if the veg is spread out and not on top of each other. Same when I do potatoes. I also like to roast a whole chicken and then strip it and freeze the portions for quick meals in the week. It does a great job of that.

I was surprised as well. 4.2L is already a lot for one person. However, I think for €15 more, it might be worth it if sometimes you have friends over or even potlucks to attend. It offers versatility unless space is truly limited. The cleaning experience should be the same.

Get the bigger one. For e.g. roasting a whole chicken, it doesn't really matter, but for certain things, you want them spread out and not stacked on top of each other (e.g. fries, potato wedges...) to cook them more evenly.

get the bigger one, I would find the smaller more annoying to clean. The small may fit 4 chicken wings, the large may fit 6-8. Easy decision

Weird, I have a 3000 series xl and its quiet.

Man, idk. I just got the Philips 3000 that wirecutter recommends. It works pretty well but the touch controls sometimes feel unresponsive. So I might pick one with real buttons next time. I think I'm enjoying the basket type though, since I can just stick the whole basket in the dishwasher.

I have a Gourmia 7-qt one and a little tiny Phillips. Both are excellent, but I hated the larger Phillips one I tried. Go figure. This is in Canada - Indian models may be very different!

I have a Tefal, but it feels a little underpowered compared to my previous Philips XL. I have to half portion of fries to get them crispy now.

A little bit of noise but way less than a range hood. Drawer type Phillips XL.

i've had the phillips XL for 5+ years & i think it's fantastic. i don't use it as often as i should because i hate cleaning it but it works wonderfully for air frying chicken, tofu & frozen veg, and things like tater tots.

Check jiomart,i bought,6.2 litre one philips one and got 2k rupees less than amazon

For me , Philips 6.2L or Cosori 6,2L ...

I live with my mom and we have a Rohnson with a capacity of 8 LT. My dad lives alone and I got him a Philips with a capacity of 6.2 LT and he says he is satisfied with it. He uses it mainly for sausages and chicken. You can find smaller ones though. I suggest you go to a physical store and see them from up close, this way you can understand better if an Air fryer suits you or not.

Never saw the appeal of it till my friend was pushing it onto me really, really hard. Found black Friday offer for half price Philips family size one and cannot imagine life without it. Made me realise that often I have decided against buying bakeable food due to feeling wasteful- felt like a waste of energy to warm up and bake stuff in the oven, especially that mine can be very temperamental. Now I have a timer and stuff comes out great, no longer feeling bad about bills when I want to cook for one. So I really recommend getting one
