I rarely use my air fryer, sometimes to reheat pizza... to do cook a frozen dog for lunch. Mine is a pain the ass to clean and cooking things like chicken wings requires multiple batches and makes a mess of the fryer (mine has shelves rather than a basket (very similar to this: https://www.walmart.com/ip/PowerXL-Black-Vortex-Air-Fryer-Pro-Plus-boasting-a-10-quart-capacity-and-1700-watts/5890968362) Quite frankly I'd rather have a nice toaster oven like I use to have before air fryers.
Are all air fryers not fast? I have a PowerFryerXL, seems like they're on sale in Target at the moment - 60 bucks. Mine is eight years old, and still working really well.
IMHO after a lot of research I felt the basket style air fryer was the easiest to clean and use. Even though you might think a small one will work, bigger is better. You can make personal size 8" pizza in less than 10 minutes using pre-made pizza crusts. Any of the major brands will work well. Years ago my first air fryer was a cheapie from Target. Then I got a Vortex XL, and now I have a Turbo Blaze. For basic foods they all cooked the same.
I have the PowerXL for the last 2 years after having a Ninja for 5 years. The PowerXL is great and I have no complaints. It works like it should.
Definitely. I use mine every single day. I’ve have a Power XL basket style.
Since 2020, I've been using my trusty old PowerXL airfryer. It still works pretty well if you hit it a little but I think the interior is made from plastic and the tray inside is rusting. I've tried buying a "non-toxic" airfryer from Emeril which was stainless steel. When I cooked something, the food tasted chemically and there was also an awful smell coming from it. I went back to old-reliable XL... I saw Ninja Crispi Glass Airfryer selling at Costco. Is this one any good? Also, any other recommendations for "non-toxic" airfryers?
This is literally like the one I have but the handle broke off.
