We have this one. It has a lot of specialty buttons, like one for hard boiling eggs. But I have to be near him. I think he could learn to use this one. Edit: Alternatively you might consider a smart air fryer that can be controlled from an app, perhaps even a voice assistant but that could get complicated.

Are all air fryers not fast? I have a PowerFryerXL, seems like they're on sale in Target at the moment - 60 bucks. Mine is eight years old, and still working really well.

I have the PowerXL for the last 2 years after having a Ninja for 5 years. The PowerXL is great and I have no complaints. It works like it should.

Since 2020, I've been using my trusty old PowerXL airfryer. It still works pretty well if you hit it a little but I think the interior is made from plastic and the tray inside is rusting. I've tried buying a "non-toxic" airfryer from Emeril which was stainless steel. When I cooked something, the food tasted chemically and there was also an awful smell coming from it. I went back to old-reliable XL... I saw Ninja Crispi Glass Airfryer selling at Costco. Is this one any good? Also, any other recommendations for "non-toxic" airfryers?

This is literally like the one I have but the handle broke off.
