I loved mine from the first time I used it. I still have that one and have added a Ninja toaster oven with air fry capability and other assorted things I have never used. It's just used for air frying and as a toaster. Hubs loves it for toast and garlic bread. He would never use my original because he wasn't comfortable with it. He does manage the Ninja easily. I took my original one on a trip that I went on with my child. We knew the house we rented did not have central A/C, so we didn't plan to use the oven. They were very impressed that I cooked a whole chicken in it (spatchcocked for space and faster cooking time). We did some other things as well, but the chicken impressed them. LOL If you like chicken with crispy skin, the AF is your toy. Sure, you can do it on the stovetop, but it's greasy and messy. I just bung the thighs in the AF, massage on a little olive oil, and roast them. In 25'ish minutes you will be enjoying the most delicious chicken thighs. Or if you want to make roast potatoes. Also to make roasted garlic. Instead of turning on your big oven for a garlic bulb wrapped in foil, put it in your AF for 25-30 mins. Half the cook time, best damn taste! Frozen fries, onion rings and chicken nuggets turn out crispy and still tender. I also use it if I'm making a single burger or small steak and don't want to bother with the BBQ. Also to heat and toast my nachos. Yum! Is an air fryer worth it? Absolutely yes!! I'm a big fan. One does me and hubs nicely. I started out with one, picked up a second one at a great sale price (RIP my T-Fal XL), and since then I've always had two.

I have a T-Fal single basket and it's great. Can cook so many different things, potatoes and other vegetables, fish, shrimp, meats, reheating pizza and toasting bagels.

A paid 80. A few years ago for a T-fal that did a lot less.

r/airfryer β€’ Is there a 'worst' air fryer and what would make it such? I think that even the 'worst' and cheapest does the job to a satisfactory level β†’

I bought one from Costco that somehow just didn't work. Everything came out soggy. I have no idea how they accomplished this. I went back to my trusty T-Fal. The worst thing about the Costco beast was that it haunted. It would wake up and start making noises like someone was mashing the keypad. It woke me up half a dozen times (it was probably a defective keypad. I rarely use the Costco return policy, but this time I did.
