We have one of [these](https://www.costco.com/gourmia-xl-french-door-countertop-air-fryer-oven.product.100847946.html) and it has taken over our standard oven. I think it cooks things more consistently than our built-ins. We've had it about 3 years, and it is still going strong.

LPT, a magic eraser works wonders on the outside. Just gave ours a thorough cleaning yesterday and while it doesn't look new, it looks pretty good considering the abuse we have put that thing through.

I love mine. I use it for air frying popcorn chicken, toasting bread, making hot sandwiches. Mine even has a dehydration setting so I can make dehydrated fruit and even beef jerky. Mine is a Gourmia French Door XL. Someone posted the picture of it on Reddit [a few months ago.](https://www.reddit.com/r/Costco/comments/199t6dj/gourmia_french_door_digital_air_fryer/#lightbox) We use ours almost daily and it even takes the place of our large oven when we don't need to bake/fry/toast/heat a large portion.

If you have Costco, they sell [a countertop Gormia Oven with Air Fry](https://www.costco.com/gourmia-xl-digital-countertop-oven-with-air-fry.product.4000270589.html). We have both, to cook "crew-served" amounts of dinner, or multiple things--we use the smaller Gormia 8-quart basket air fryer for burritos, snacks and 1-4 peoples worth of finger foods, wings, etc.

Reposting with photos in different order at mod request (I don’t hate you, totally understand, I thought the same thing right after I posted originally) Picked this oven up at target before Christmas, 2nd time using it.  After the first time I have my Chefman to my parents, this does a better job in my opinion, plus it has air fryer and toaster oven functions for the counter space it takes up is a little more justified. 8 hour dough at room temp, 64% hydration, 3% salt.  Pepperoni, sun dried tomatoes and jalapeno. Crust is perfectly crispy on outside and pillow soft inside. Took about 20 minutes to preheat and about 5 minutes between pizzas to get back to temp.  It goes up to 800 (tested with IR thermometer)

r/Pizza • Took a shot on $170 Gourmia all in one pizza oven, love it. ->

i_did_nothing_ • 4 months ago

I figured I could save the counter space by having both in one.  Only thing I noticed is the heating elements look different between the two,  the stand alone pizza oven has a circular element just like the chefman, the one with the air fryer has a larger square patterned element that covers more of the top and bottom area.  Not sure if it makes a difference in the cooking but just something I noticed

Yes, I’ve used it multiple times now, I freaking love it.  I gave my chefman to my parents and solely use this now.  Just have to give it about 5-10 between pizzas to get back to temp, but other than that is does a much better job on the heating the top than the chefman did.  As an added bonus the air fryer works really well too.

I would say just go for the one with the air fryer, it does look to have a different heating element on the top at bottom from the cheaper model.  All I can say is that I think the larger heating element on the top is what makes the difference between this and the chefman (which has the same shape element at the cheaper Gourmia).  Also I don’t think the size of the unit is any different between the pizza only or the combo model. They look to be the same size.

My stand alone air fryer definitely does a better job that the air fryer function on this.  You are correct, this functions about the same as my convection oven but I would say it’s better since it is a smaller area than my oven and has the appropriate basket.  I’ve been following the directions/times that came with this unit when air frying, it does a great job with frozen fries just takes a bit longer than my stand alone unit. For me, the $170 is totally worth it for the pizza oven functionality alone, does a better job than my chefman did.

I have the Gourmia 9 slice digital air fryer/oven. It's pretty spacious, has double doors and is used several times a week, sometimes several times a day. It does a great job warming up croissants, pizza, air fry chicken nuggets, and baking/roasting potatoes. I also use it to keep food warm while I cook. It serves my family of 3 well

It's a basic one. But still does what it needs to. It's become more like a second mini oven for me. So if it fits in the air fryer that's where it goes. Minor modifications to the cooking time and temp are needed. Essentially I would feel bad for heating up an entire oven for something small and this is where it really shines. Heats up quick and does its stuff and turns off.

So I have a gourmia air fryer oven and a regular cheap 40 dollar air fryer. I gotta say that the 40 dollar air fryer crisps better than my 110 dollar gourmia. But I still use the gourmia regularly, as it doesn't heat the whole house like my regular oven.

It’s amazing honestly I love it it has so many options, 2 racks, a light, half way turnover timer, tons of cooking options such as baking, roasting, broiling etc. it also doesn’t have PUFAS/ PFAS or whatever all that stuff everyone is concerned about. The top rack also doubles as a cooling rack. It’s a bit of a pain to clean but that’s the same thing with most air fryers since they need ventilation holes in the surfaces to effectively circulate the hot air. The window is nice to be able to see your food. It’s a pretty nice size, enough to put enough food for 2 adults and 2 kids. It also comes with a cool little laminated air frying guide that shows about 60 different foods and how long to cook them for, what temp etc. it’s definately better than your typical chef man and lower end fryers priced at this range but if you’re looking for something a bit nicer around $120 I recommend the ninja foodie.

Put skin-side down in a preheated 350 air fryer for 40-45 and flip halfway through. * frozen broccoli and asparagus I've even cooked a costco frozen burger before though that was not ideal.

Air fryer technology is incredibly basic. It's a heating element and a fan. That's it. Most of what differentiates a good air fryer from a bad air fryer is whether the basket is big enough to cook what you want to cook--understanding that air frying doesn't work well if the air can't easily circulate around all sides of your food. Newbie mistake is to put a couple of pounds of fries into an air fryer (which is not a single layer) and then complain they don't come out right. The Gourmia is fine, and it's big enough for most of what the typical person would use it for. The digital control panel is fine, but all you care about is being able to set the target temperature and (possibly) a count down timer. So, again, you don't need it to be super complex. Once you have an air fryer, you will most likely wonder how you lived without an air fryer. It justifies limited counter space. (The alternative is a convection oven, which operates on a similar principle, but typically the design is such that the airflow around your food isn't as optimized for air frying).

I bought it and I’m probably in the minority but I can’t stand it and had to stop using it. The button sounds are so effing loud. The fan that circulates the air is so ridiculous it sounds like an airplane is idling inside my house, and it literally changes the air pressure in my kitchen and hurts my ears (so technically, yeah it works great.)

I'm on my second one in 7 years . Can cook more food at one time than most fryers. It's very easy to clean. Its temperature goes up to 400* which is ok for most things.

We bought one in November. They were on sale for $39.00 or $44.00 - can't remember. We use it for chicken wings, steaks, reheating/re-crisping leftovers. It's our first air fryer...don't know how we went so long without one. I'd recommend it.

I cook thawed wing drums and blades. I dry them off with paper towels, as much as I can. I put them in a bowl and drizzle a little olive oil or avocado oil on them and toss so they all get a little on them. I lightly season with any or all of the following: Garlic Powder, Onion Powder, Seasoned Salt, Black Pepper, Cayenne Pepper Powder. Rotisserie Chicken Seasoning, Tony Chachere's Creole Seasoning, Lemon Pepper, and/or some homemade fajita seasoning. I do not flour or cornstarch them. I put a parchment liner in the bottom of the pan, on top of the black grate. I turn on the air fryer and set it to 400 degrees, preheat on, and I do 10 thawed wing (usually 5 drums and 5 blades) pieces, for 14 minutes....flipping the wings at 7 minutes. When they are done, I usually splash on some Frank's red hot sauce. I don't like dripping wet wings so I use the hot sauce sparingly and a little goes a long way. Sometimes, at the 7 min halfway mark, I will apply a light coating of BBQ sauce...then flip them. When I do this I don't use the Frank's. Experiment with different spices and seasonings.

We have had it about 4 or 5 years. It still works and we still use it. The only reason we bought another one is because the current Gourmia at Costco is a little bigger and nicer then the older model they carried and we've been wanting a second one anyway so when we saw it on sale we figured why not. Now I can make Dino nuggies and fries at the same time. Lol it makes the child in this 40 year old man very happy.

We like ours. The French doors make it easier to keep clean (crumbs don't get stuck in the hinge). It does get hot and it does take up a lot of space - especially the back.

We use this literally every day. Pros, you can cook a lot at once, easy clean up (we use the Kirkland parchment paper every time we use it), lots of different settings to choose from. Con, given the double door style, I don't think it retains heat quite as well as a regular air fryer. I often play around with the temperature/cook time to compensate.

I usually increase the temperature by 25-50° and then increase the time 0-2 minutes. But it can vary. For example, I make the Kirkland lightly breaded chicken chunks and cook them at 425/12 minutes (this is the setting for the Snacks button). Other things, I just keep at the recommended time and temperature. I think it's best to start at whatever the directions are, then increase as needed.

So far, we like it. We have solar so I’ve been trying to get my mom to use the convection electric oven more instead of the gas oven. This is large enough where I think she’d be making the switch with more baking. PPT (Product Pro Tip): people were complaining that you can’t turn off the key-response beep. **HOWEVER** you *can*. Press and hold the “Start/Stop” button until you hear a beep. The key-response beep is toggled off.

Bought this one during the sale and there are 2 major things to keep in mind, based on the reviews I read and my limited (1 week) experience. 1) it’s laaaarge 2) people report that it functions more like an oven than an air fryer. I haven’t used the air fryer setting yet, but I primarily wanted it as a small oven, so I love it. I’ve made cornbread muffins in it on the bake setting (came out perfectly in less time than the package stated). I used the dehydrate function on some apple slices (no complaints, except maybe that the air fryer tray only holds 1 apple worth of thin slices). And yesterday I used the bake function to do 1 tray of potatoes and then the rack + a small baking tray for meatloaf & asparagus. I used the temp probe in the meatloaf to have the oven turn off when it reached temp. Will be trying the air fryer functionality this week, but I’ve heard that because it’s so big, cooking takes longer than smaller air fryers.

It works fairly well. My only issues so far: It is a Power hog. I got this for our off grid cabin and I blew the breaker the first time I used it. 2) it get super hot all around it. Had a serving spoon on top of it and it melted it. 3) sometimes it argues as to whether the food was put it. So you get into this bizarre pantomiming of opening and closing the doors trying to get it to accept that the food is in fact, in it.

Have this exact one from Costco for over a year. The French doors are nice, the glass doesn’t get drips on it from my careless kids like the previous 2 fold down door units did so I have to clean it less. Works very well for everything from toast to a pizza. It’s no bigger outside than my older cuisinart but much bigger inside. If you accidently change it from Fahrenheit to Celsius press and hold the WARM button.

We've had our Gourmia french door style one (is that considered a toaster oven style?) for going on 4-5 years now and like others have said, it cooks on par with basket instructions give or take a couple minutes. I love it because I can fit a whole 12" pizza in it since our oven has been broken for years. We've gotten used to tweaking certain instructions but nothing too drastic. My husband has been very nitpicky about wanting a basket style since most instructions are designed for baskets, so he doesn't want to have to guess anymore. So we got one, and....it cooks things the same to me lol. I haven't found a difference yet. Granted, the one we were gifted is a generic cheap one, so my cons about that one in particular are the knob dials not having precise temp readouts and not being digital like the Gourmia, and I generally don't like not being able to see inside of it while it cooks. I guess I got so used to the Gourmia having transparent doors and watching the food. So yeah we have both and the only time the basket one gets used is if he wants pizza rolls and makes them himself lol. The Gourmia seems like it does everything and has tons of functions we haven't even used

Double French doors Gourmia stainless steel all digital air fryer oven from Walmart (around $150). I received a compliment on how fancy it was by a guest only 2-3 weeks after I received it as a gift from my son. Cooks beautifully,  I've been impressed. So far I have cooked frozen pizzas, garlic bread (fresh and frozen), toast, bagels, refrigerated rolls, muffins, corn dogs, bacon, sausage patties, ribs, chicken strips and fries, frozen lasagna, breakfast casserole, hash browns and some other frozen foods all were perfect. The rolls look like they would in an ad for perfect rolls the pizza was not soggy nor crispy, very nice texture. The easiest bacon and sausage too, I cooked them in the basket with roasting pan below to catch grease. The oven and the accessories are special coated and the clean up was so easy. Also, it is super fast cooking. Sometimes it seems even quicker than a microwave would cook and so much better.  Anyways I obviously love mine so I highly recommend it

Toaster oven/air fryer like the Gourmia. I don’t even use my oven even more. I have baked bread, dehydrated fruit, and made yogurt in addition to using it to roast potato’s and chickpeas. I have an instant pot too that I primarily use to make the chickpeas I then air fry.

I use an air fryer that looks like a toaster oven by gourmia. It’s amazing and has multiple functions so I don’t have just another single task appliance. It’s one of the best purchases I’ve ever made and I hardly ever use my regular oven to bake anymore. As for chicken you need to season it and get creative. An easy way to add a lot of flavor is taco seasoning. Cube chicken, add a packet of taco seasoning and shake it up then cook. You can do a ranch seasoning packet too! I also like to do salt, pepper, heavy smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder and chipotle powder. Chipotle powder is spicy though so be careful.

Totally. We're at the mercy of whoever is answering the email. Seems like they could change their mind every other day lol.  I was also looking at a gourmia fryer, and the rep told me, ' Toaster Oven Fryers are BPA, PTFE, PFOA, PFAs and LEAD Free.  The interior walls are anodized aluminum,  The baking pan and crumb tray are  aluminum.   The fry basket and oven rack are stainless.  There is no NON STICK coating in this unit.' So maybe that's one you could try. My husband found an old style Convection oven at his mom's house so imma try that first before I spend any additional money.
