Air doctor is excellent, but expensive -- you can read more about them here: [https://housefresh.com/airdoctor-ad3000/](https://housefresh.com/airdoctor-ad3000/) Winix and coway are excellent for wildfire smoke, and have cheaper up-front and long-term costs than the air doctor. You're almost always better off with multiple smaller units than one honking one, however impressive its specs. I commented on the wellis air post separately -- they seem to focus on bacteria and virus murder, not on particulate capture -- I can't imagine it being the right choice for wildfire smoke: there's nothing to inactivate; there's no chemistry you can do to make the particulate breatheable; you can't bond anything to it that would drop it out of the air. Also, why bother experimenting (and it is experimenting, given the lack of reviews and verification from others) when you can already solve the problem you're having for much less money.

Just bought 2 3000s and a 5000 and a year’s supply of filters for each. Was on hold for almost an hour though so be warned it will take a bit of patience.

We use an airdoctor in our living room/kitchen area + a big room dehumidifier that runs on auto. We also run a smaller airdoctor and dehumidifier in our master bedroom + bathroom. They’ve worked great for us in our house
