Which works best? I have an IQAir and it's very effective but it's MAHOOSIVE (switches on automatically though when a smart switch turns it on). Also a Levoit 300s - still evaluating. Main goal: house dust mite allergy control

I have an AirDoctor 1000 in my home office but the AirDoctor 3500, which I have in my living room, is much quieter. The ultra HEPA filters are amazing.

I have an air doctor 3500 and it seems to work fine; haven’t tried the ionizing function. I also have my LEVOIT still and it is still working. I contacted them to ask if they are HEPA and they said they do have HEPA grade…so…not sure what that situation is with them but the purifier does work, can see the dust it sucks in on the pre filter. I’m still considering also getting a Wellis to target mold/mildew/viruses but I’m hesitant for the same reason you mentioned. I’m looking for actual customer or really any feedback from anyone but what I have found is very limited and from other countries. How has it been for you? Do you notice any difference at all with it? I did find some info about hydroxyl radical production technology. Not particularly Wellis, but what they claim to use. There were some things that came up saying it is safe, but others saying it can interact with things and create different unsafe vocs, like formaldehyde. That’s what has kept me from trying it so far, but trying to find more information on Wellis and that type of technology.

Air doctor and Austin Air. I need the activated charcoal filters with a HEPA filter because of VOCS.

I have 3 Air Doctor air purifiers in my apartment. They are Ultra HEPA, so they get even more stuff than a standard air purifier would.

they've helped my severe allergies, which I'm assuming can play a part in my migraines, but I've had air purifiers since around 2013 or 2014, which is right when I started doing a bunch of different things for my migraines, so I can't say for certain

The best on the market imo is Austin air but it’s pricey. I will likely only buy one for my baby’s nursery. We have air doctors in our bedroom and living room, and they seem to work quite well. We had our second model stop working under warranty and they replaced it at no cost, but that is the only bad experience we have had. Our older unit is still going strong a few years in.

I have 2 air doctors and a levoit and don't notice any difference between them. If money was no option I'd probably gonwoth Austin Air or Jaspr. If budget then Levoit or Winix from Costco. Or Costco also has a Shark with a 5 year filter.

Yes! My husband basically stopped snoring because of it. We use Air Doctor.

Air Doctor! We have 3. Two at home and one at work. Love them. Zero complaints. Can attest to MUCH less sickness and allergy issues since we’ve had them (~3 years). Filters only need replacing every 6-12 months depending on how much stuff they’re collecting from your air. It’s honestly super gross to see the used filters BUT makes me feel good to know all of that stuff is not in our air/breathing it in! It’s even strong enough to filter out COVID and flu virus particles which was a big plus. Most of their products are under $500 and they do regular promos throughout the year too where you can get discounts off as well. Hope this helps!

I recommend Air Doctor too. The units can be pretty big, but I feel like it filters out way more stuff than any of brands I’ve had before. I’m always amazed at how much is in the filter when I do vacuum maintenance
