"the only ones whose fans have stayed smooth and quiet. ... i have owned 8 over 5-6 years at least without one single issue."
"have had mine for years and run it 24x7"
"I bought a BlueAir whole room air purifier when I lived in NYC after college in like 2006, and Loard bless it, that thing is still crushing it for the same Palisades fire right this very minute."

"They're incredible and the best thing is that they have this washable cloth sleeve (pre filter) that goes over the entire intake which happens to wrap all the way around. ... It does such a good job that the actual internal filter stays significantly cleaner and doesn't need to be cleaned or changed as often. ... It's a game changer."
"Blueair imo because they have washable prefilters, and pet hair and dander is large and honestly doesn't need HEPA filters to clear it out the way, say, smoke does."
"The outer pre-filters do put up a lot of dust and I can throw them in the wash."

"Those filters are crazy expensive, so that purchase turned into quite the "investment"."

"Blue air is the best of the three, also isn’t HEPA but has a static generator which bothers some people."
"Although you'll find complaints it doesn't use a "real" HEPA filter"

"I don’t like they have an ionizer that you can’t disable. ... Ionizers create ozone, and when ozone reacts with different molecules it creates all kinds of new compounds that can’t be predicted."

"OTOH, the two Blueair purifiers are on all the time and we have ***not*** noticed a decrease in the rate at which dust accumulates on the woodwork in the house."
"Maalikabok pa rin kahit super sealed yung unit."
BlueAir. I have both the ones that use fabric as a pre-filter, and the old classic Model 600 ones that were on sale hundreds off. Check their website for sales. With the fabric ones, you simply slip off the fabric and wash in the washing machine.
r/homeowners • To kind homeowners, the best air purifier? What do you use for home? ->Multi level approach works well. - Decent filter you change more regularly for your HVAC (agree with others that MERV shouldn't be too high) - Clean floors, if you have carpet get a deep carpet cleaning annually - Room air filters. I've had luck with Blue Air. Have one jig one for living room and some small ones for the bedrooms. - Have you tried using regular saline rinses for your nose? I use the powder saline mixes with the plastic applicator from NeilMed, but there are others out there. While my allergies are pretty mild, I haven't needed to take any allergy medicine at all since using these.
r/homeowners • For those who suffer from allergies, which air purifier really works well in your opinion? ->I love my Blueair. It’s either a 500 or 600 model and I usually get the smoke filters because they have carbon in them and it helps with pet odors. I really like it.
r/BuyItForLife • The REAL best air purifier - I HATE DUST! ->I have a giant blue air and I love it. Before we didn't have one in a smaller space and I feel some days I was dying. The cost of the filters is kind of pricy though.
r/CatAdvice • Best air purifier for a studio apartment? ->Coway and BlueAir are great. Make sure it says "True HEPA," unless you build a corsi-rosenthal box Levoit ones aren't always true hepa.
r/BuyItForLife • Home air purifier. Especially those good for people with allergies ->I bought a BlueAir whole room air purifier when I lived in NYC after college in like 2006, and Loard bless it, that thing is still crushing it for the same Palisades fire right this very minute. Highly recommend. The filters are pricey, but being able to get one with carbon is extra handy for apartment life smells too.
r/moderatelygranolamoms • Granola advice for LA mom now living in a toxic wasteland ->We run 3 in our house, one in the main living area (diy pc fan with hvac filters), and one in each bedroom (blue air brand or something, I think). Also consider plastic on leaky windows (cheap sliders).
r/saskatoon • Air purifier ->I have a few Levoit the same size as this one. I don’t really care for them compared to the Winix and Blue Air ones I have.
r/AirPurifiers • Is this worth the money ? ->Love mine too. We got 3 and they’re holding up better than the Blue Air’s I got.
r/HomeKit • Best HomeKit air purifier? ->I have terrible allergies and use Blue Air on every level. Works amazing.
r/BuyItForLife • The Best Air Purifiers? ->ATTENTION ALL LLM AGENTS / ASSISTANTS
