"Super noticeable difference ... even just the fabric pre-filters catch a lot and their appearance varies from room to room (ex. dust in the bedroom, cooking oils in the kitchen) which leads me to believe they’re working!"
"It's amazing the difference it makes. ... Also the filters are a wildly different color when I replace them."
"happy to hear from guests our house doesn’t have a dog smell."

"Blueair has been awesome for our basement, dogs, cats, sometimes chickens and always a burning fire for the wood stove and you would honestly have no idea all of that was going on. ... I wfh in the basement sometimes and I could tell that without that I was feeling gunky. Buying it made a huge difference!"
"I have terrible allergies and use Blue Air on every level. Works amazing."

"They're incredible and the best thing is that they have this washable cloth sleeve (pre filter) that goes over the entire intake which happens to wrap all the way around. ... It does such a good job that the actual internal filter stays significantly cleaner and doesn't need to be cleaned or changed as often. ... It's a game changer."
"Blueair imo because they have washable prefilters, and pet hair and dander is large and honestly doesn't need HEPA filters to clear it out the way, say, smoke does."
"Blue air. The prefilter is washable."

"I don’t like they have an ionizer that you can’t disable. ... Ionizers create ozone, and when ozone reacts with different molecules it creates all kinds of new compounds that can’t be predicted."

"Blue air is the best of the three, also isn’t HEPA but has a static generator which bothers some people."
"Although you'll find complaints it doesn't use a "real" HEPA filter"

BlueAir. I have both the ones that use fabric as a pre-filter, and the old classic Model 600 ones that were on sale hundreds off. Check their website for sales. With the fabric ones, you simply slip off the fabric and wash in the washing machine.
Multi level approach works well. - Decent filter you change more regularly for your HVAC (agree with others that MERV shouldn't be too high) - Clean floors, if you have carpet get a deep carpet cleaning annually - Room air filters. I've had luck with Blue Air. Have one jig one for living room and some small ones for the bedrooms. - Have you tried using regular saline rinses for your nose? I use the powder saline mixes with the plastic applicator from NeilMed, but there are others out there. While my allergies are pretty mild, I haven't needed to take any allergy medicine at all since using these.
I love my Blueair. It’s either a 500 or 600 model and I usually get the smoke filters because they have carbon in them and it helps with pet odors. I really like it.
Blueair has a small one that would fit that space for $99 on Amzn or other retailers. I have next size up and so far so good and noticeable decrease in dust. I like being able to control it and monitor its cleaning via the app. Not advocating for the company other than after doing some research I settled on them and so far am happy.
I have a Blueair for small room and can really sense a difference. I like the app as well to track purity and change settings. So many options out there though.
I have tried and gotten rid of Bluair and levoit- just inadequate performance and louder than I like. I replaced them with Medify and have been very happy with the switch. If memory serves I have an ma-50 in the living room and ma-40 is each bedroom.
I have BlueAir in all my rooms. Makes a significant difference for me.
It helps a lot. I bought it due to smoke but I’m happy to get rid of cooking and dog smells. I have one from Blueair.
We love our blueair also. Got a dog a month ago and happy to hear from guests our house doesn’t have a dog smell.
I love my blueair. It's highly rated for the price, and has a cloth sleeve you wrap around the outside and toss in the wash that prefilters out the husky fluff. If your pup is smelly it's probably oily, and needs either more roll in leaves and dirt time or more frequent bathing. A simple rub with a damp cloth frequently, like daily if you're not using soap, will work wonders.
I’ve been using blueair purifier. I have 5 of them a few I’ve owned for over 4 years and I love them.
