Which country are you in? That might influence recommendations. I'm mildly allergic and use a BLUEAIR 3210 air purifier in their main room, it seems to really help. You may also benefit from using a dust mask while changing their bedding, or covering up to reduce little scratches when they climb on you. I usually just keep girls now, they make me sneeze less!

Blueair has a small one that would fit that space for $99 on Amzn or other retailers. I have next size up and so far so good and noticeable decrease in dust. I like being able to control it and monitor its cleaning via the app. Not advocating for the company other than after doing some research I settled on them and so far am happy.

I have a Blueair for small room and can really sense a difference. I like the app as well to track purity and change settings. So many options out there though.

Yes, I have two c545’s from Costco before they switched. I wanted more at the Costco price but ended up with two small BlueAir ones instead. Costco does sell the Winix filters online for various models. I just snagged a set of the filters while they were on sale.

It helps a lot. I bought it due to smoke but I’m happy to get rid of cooking and dog smells. I have one from Blueair.

We love our blueair also. Got a dog a month ago and happy to hear from guests our house doesn’t have a dog smell.

Seconding Blueair! We have a Levoit and a Blueair; while I have nothing bad to say about the Levoit, I personally prefer the Blueair (granted, it was about twice as expensive). We've got two medium-sized dogs, and - aside from the clumps of dog hair under the baseboards - you wouldn't know that we had any pets!

I love my blueair. It's highly rated for the price, and has a cloth sleeve you wrap around the outside and toss in the wash that prefilters out the husky fluff. If your pup is smelly it's probably oily, and needs either more roll in leaves and dirt time or more frequent bathing. A simple rub with a damp cloth frequently, like daily if you're not using soap, will work wonders.
