the main thing is to avoid the flashy stuff ionizers, HEPA-type filters, or models that don’t share their CADR ratings are usually more marketing than substance. what actually matters is solid airflow, real HEPA filtration, and something that can quietly run all day without fuss. washable prefilters are a huge win if you’ve got pets that shed. that’s why i like stuff \[like this\](https://best.hochzeits-shopping.com/jGNa) cause it just works without overcomplicating things. nothing fancy, just fresh air and less fur floating around.
Blueair 211+ non auto. Been using them for seven years and still going strong. They have truly changed my life for the better.
I second the Blueair purifiers. I have the 211+ non auto in my living room and the smaller versions in my bedrooms. I've had the 211+ running for about ten years and still going strong. The smaller ones I had to replace recently. I got the table top Mini Max through Costco in a 2-pack and I regret that size. I'll get the smaller standing 411 ones again next time.

I had a couple of Winix 5500? units and now have a BlueAir 211+. I tend to open the balcony door when I cook so most of the smell vents out, and I live in a place that's not too dusty, so it works well in reducing dust on furniture. Unfortunately my place has wall to wall carpets. Is it worth it? I don't know. Less dust and obviously the dust stuck in the machine is dust not on the furniture, but is it reduced enough to where I'd buy it again? Not sure. My place is 988 sqf, so pretty small too. A few things to keep in mind; A lot of them have no real testing done, just bloggers who claim it does something. Filters can be expensive. They usually need to run on high to reach their CADR, and on high they are usually noisy, so I can only run mine on low or medium in the other room. No chance using it in the bedroom if I'm in there.
I have a Molekule and it’s sitting stored. The replacement filters are expensive as hell, and I find my BlueAir (the 211+) and Coways (Airmega 250 and 150) to be better. The latter aren’t “smart,” (although I think you have that option now), but I have them plugged in with smart plugs and I like that the Coways signal when the air quality changes like a basic air quality monitor would.
