You need to check the manual for the AQI sensor sensitivity settings. It is probably set to high sensitivity. Need to change that. So, it will only change colour over a high aqi deviation. Had that issue with AirMega 250
r/gurgaon • Air purifier buying guide ->The 250 is the best one you listed but if you can splurge for a 300 or 400 from Coway that would be even better. That's a large room you're trying to clean the air for.
r/AirPurifiers • Which is the best air purifier to buy for living/dining room of about 700-900 sq. ft? ->We usually recommend Coway or Winix depending on budget. Smart Air make some good products too. > ideally I imagine choosing one medium/large size unit to do the whole house, OR two small sizes, We recommend getting multiple large units. This increases efficiency. But you don't have to buy them all at once. Larger units are recommended because they can be run at lower speeds where they are more energy/noise efficient on good air days. On bad air days they can kick into higher gear and manage problems like wildfire smoke. Multiple units are recommended because they distribute clean air to different areas of the space reducing the reprocessing of clean air. But you don't have to get them all at once. You can buy one large unit for one room and then scale up to multiple units as you see how well you control particulates. We recommend installing an air quality monitor in each room. The cheapest option we know is the [VINDSTYRKA air quality sensor, smart - IKEA](https://www.ikea.com/us/en/p/vindstyrka-air-quality-sensor-smart-30498239/). Its humidity sensor is inaccurate, but the PM 2.5 sensor is the best available for $50. >cost < $500 The [Coway Airmega 400S Smart Air Purifier | Home Air Purifier, Wifi-Enabled ](https://cowaymega.com/products/airmega-400s) is currently $479. It's easy to control with Apple mobile devices (with Android devices it asks for more intrusive permissions) and it can be run on a schedule to turn on/off when you leave for work. It won't be able to clean your whole house or even your whole floor. It's perfect for medium sized rooms if you install one unit in each medium/sized room. It's not always ideal for bedrooms as it can have issues with vibration on hard surfaces when run on the lowest speed setting. For bedrooms with uncarpeted floors we recommend the [Coway Airmega 250](https://cowaymega.com/products/airmega-250) or 250s. >narrowed down to are Alen, Levoit, and Honeywell. From these brands we would recommend the [Levoit 600s](https://levoit.com/products/core-600s-smart-true-hepa-air-purifier) as it has a good CADR rating for smoke. It would be suitable for a medium sized room. >OR two small sizes, one for the basement and one upstairs (and they would both reach the middle floor, right?) please tell me what you think about this. Having an air purifier running in one room can reduce particulate levels in the whole house. But it will struggle. [A single very powerful air purifier on high was able to purifier the floor of an apartment.](https://smartairfilters.com/en/blog/air-purifier-living-room-clean-entire-house/) It's more efficient and effective to install a separate air purifier in each room of the house. The running costs of having multiple air purifiers will not always be higher. When using multiple units filters will last longer and they can be run on energy efficient speeds on good air days.
r/AirPurifiers • Brand recommendation? About to buy my first air purifier 🥹 (in Canada) ->> question is, what air purifiers makes sense for my space? >For example, does the crazy cost of the Alen BreatheSmart 75i Air Purifier, make sense for me? If the problem are particulates, we recommend getting multiple air purifiers for your space. We recommend the [Coway Airmega 250s](https://cowaymega.com/products/airmega-250) (for bedrooms) and the [Coway Airmega 400s](https://cowaymega.com/products/airmega-400s) (for corridors and living rooms) for different room sizes. If you have Apple devices they are easy to control by WiFi and you can run them off of a schedule. We recommend installing a separate air purifier in each room. We also recommend installing the [IKEA VINDSTYRKA air quality monitor](https://www.ikea.com/us/en/p/vindstyrka-air-quality-sensor-smart-30498239/) as the cheapest option if you want a rough idea of the particulate level indoors (the humidity sensor is not accurate). >I don't mind spending good money, I just need to know whats over kill. I prefer not to spend more then I have to, but I'm worried about forest fire season if this is how I'm feeling already. It's a good idea to spend good money. But that doesn't mean buying one air purifier. For houses you usually need air purifiers in every room. For 1600 sq ft. you need multiple units. Depending on rooms sizes we would recommend something like 6 units comprising 3x Coway Airmega 250s (for bedrooms) + 3x Coway Airmega 400s. If your budget is smaller then we would recommend something like 6x Winix 5500-2 (they are only $160 each so this would come to under $1000). Those can't be controlled by WiFi though and Winix feels less luxurious to interact with than Coway and they pay less attention to the sound on the highest speeds.
r/AirPurifiers • Thinking of upgrading my air purifier for forest fire season. ->>2 air purifiers for 27 sq.meters and 230 CADR each (placed where the **blue** circles are) 2 air purifiers would probably work best. 1x Coway Airmega 250s for the bedroom and 1x Coway Airmega 400s for the living room would be a good option.
r/AirPurifiers • What size air purifier (or if 2 are needed) would you recommend for this space ? ->The Coway Airmega 250/250s is compact and can fit in small rooms easily without issues. The Coway Airmega 400/400s is like a miniature fridge, which many students place in their much smaller dorm rooms. Opinions about its appearance are more divided. They are the smallest CADR units we would recommend you can run them at low speeds when they are very energy efficient and they still move plenty of air. The Coway Airmega 250s only uses 4.5 watts on Speed 1 (with its lights turned off) while still moving enough air to be effective. 4.5 watts is good energy efficiency while still being effective.
r/AirPurifiers • What size air purifier (or if 2 are needed) would you recommend for this space ? ->It's recommended to have more air purifiers than trying to do it all with a single unit. You could probably start with 1x [Coway Airmega ProX](https://cowaymega.com/products/airmega-prox) for the 500 sq. ft living room (warning the replacement filter costs are high) and 1x [Coway Airmega 250s](https://cowaymega.com/products/airmega-250s) (for the small 120 sq. ft. bedroom). You can later add another air purifier if the Airmega ProX is not enough for the living room. The Airmega ProX doesn't have WiFi unfortunately. The Airmega 250s is good for a small bedroom of 120 sq. ft. if windows are closed as you can run it off of a schedule on the app and let it turn on and off for your sleeping period. > Oh and even though the living area and my bedroom is well under the maximum area most of those purifiers can cover, I like the overkill. That's not overkill. The manufacturer specified maximum area most of those purifiers can cover is usually overstated for many use cases. >IQAir or a different combination of purifiers. The IQair GC Multigas makes sense if your problems are from VOCs as it has a lot of carbon in its carbon filter. It's performance for particulates is not competitive with other manufacturers relative to its larger size, higher price of replacement filters and energy usage.
r/AirPurifiers • need help picking purifier. no budget. ->> I didn’t even know about this brand. Coway and Winix are among the leading air purifier brands from South Korea. [Coway has quite a large looking research center in Seoul. ](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TAQFxM1LTpU) >I’d rather just focus on particulates. What air filters do you use? Thank you so much. From the Coway lineup we recommend the Coway Airmega 250s (for bedrooms) and the Coway Airmega 400s (for living rooms). The Coway Airmega 250s works very well for bedrooms on Speed 1 and can be run on a schedule off of the app. The design of the Airmega 400s can be more visually divisive and it can need to be placed on anti-vibration pad on hard surfaces. The Airmega 250s is more space efficient and can fit in with more decors. The Airmega 250s is made in China, the Airmega 400s/300s are made in South Korea.
r/AirPurifiers • need help picking purifier. no budget. ->>My home is 800sq feet, Your goal is to reduce PM 2.5? Have you installed air quality monitors yet? It depends on your ventilation level and outdoor air pollution level. The best choice for most houses would be to install multiple powerful air purifiers so you can run them on low speed on normal air pollution days and run them on high during high air pollution days and events like wildfire smoke. For 800 sq. ft the ideal would probably be 4-5 air purifiers even if it's quite open plan. For non-ionizer products maybe a mix like 3x Coway Airmega 400s + 2x Coway Airmega 250. On the low speed settings these are quiet. But you still want use the high speed setting when there's smoke outside or inside. >when Ionizer feature is turned off *should not admit ozone*, but I read further reviews and find that some of them *still produce ozone even when the ionizer is off* The ionizers used by manufacturers like Winix and BlueAir don't produce any harmful level of ozone when they are on. They are approved by the California Air Resources Board. The level of ozone is almost too small to be detectable. Winix also have an off switch for the ionizer function. But if you really don't like the ionizer even when it's turned off there are air purifiers like the Coway Airmega 250/300/400 which don't have an ionizer.
r/AirPurifiers • Non-ionizer + QUIET air purifier? ->>3 Coway 400 ($419) and 2 Coway 250 ($299)- = $1857 - prices taken from Coway website. I don’t disagree that these would need to be run on low speed due to noise but that’s a lot of money to spend It is the price of a laptop or a good fridge or some mid-range furniture. It's not a lot of money for appliances you put in every room and use every day. For many households they still don't look luxury enough to put in your living room. I think they have a large profit margin and the cost of production of the units is probably multiples lower than the MSRP. The Airmega 250 is made in China, the 400s is made in Korea. Still, the Airmega 250 and 400s are nice good quality feeling products. They are acceptable for most consumers to interact with them and actually use them. The design of the Airmega 400s can be divisive with spouses, but the Airmega 250 is very easy to accept and put in your house for small rooms. There's even an [art model of the Coway 250](https://cowaymega.com/products/airmega-250-art) (which has a significantly lower CADR for smoke than the normal Airmega 250 so only advisable for very small rooms). They are something people might accept putting in their house and using regularly. They have third-party filter support and the filters don't need to be changed often for many users. For those with smaller budgets, we can avoid recommending Coway and [recommend cheaper alternatives like strapping an IKEA filter to a fan](https://www.reddit.com/r/AirPurifiers/comments/1ckswjh/comment/l2p9jmz/). But many people here can afford brands like Coway and Smart Air. >because of the fundamental flaw of being to loud. I don't think it's a flaw of being too loud. Only on their highest setting are they relatively loud and energy inefficient. You need the highest setting when there is smoke or you want to bring down PM 2.5 quickly. It's good they include the highest setting on air purifiers as you still use it when there's smoke or wildfire season. You want to blast the air purifiers on the highest setting until the PM 2.5 comes down to the healthy range. Most days they will be able to keep PM 2.5 low without using their highest setting. Sometimes you need to blast them though.
r/AirPurifiers • Non-ionizer + QUIET air purifier? ->For a bedroom we would recommend the Coway Airmega 250s. Then use cheaper third-party replacement filters if they are available in your location.
r/AirPurifiers • What is the most solid/ reliable air purifier for a medium sized room that also has fairly cheap replacement filters? ->The Coway Airmega 400s is a good choice for the "Great room". You can measure the effectiveness using an air quality monitor. Later you could think about adding 3x Coway Airmega 250s. One in each bedroom and one in the Den. But you don't need to install them all 4 air purifiers once. I would think about adding one at a time until you get the situation under control.
r/AirPurifiers • Coway 400 enough? ->> real-time what the air quality indoors is since it gives me a little piece of mind to see that it’s “green/good air quality indoors We recommend installing an air quality monitor in each room. The cheapest option is the [VINDSTYRKA air quality sensor, smart - IKEA](https://www.ikea.com/us/en/p/vindstyrka-air-quality-sensor-smart-30498239/). Its humidity sensor is inaccurate, but the PM 2.5 sensor is working well for $50. >HEPA filter is a given but do we also need a carbon filter for the smoke? It depends on the distance the smoke is traveling. If the source of the smoke is very nearby you will be impacted by the gaseous components as well as particulates. If the source of the smoke is more distant, it will be mainly particulates. The health impact of smoke which has been most studied are particulates and they are also the ones which are easier to remove from indoor air. >The ones I’m currently considering are Conway Airmega 200M, Conway Airmega AP-1512HH, Conway Airmega 150, Conway Airmega 230, Conway Airmega 250, Blueair 211i Max, and Blueair 311i Max. We recommend the Coway Airmega 250 or 250s (if you use Apple devices) for bedrooms. The Coway Aimega 250s can be set to run from a schedule using the Coway app. The Airmega 250 has a timer button on top so you can set it for your sleeping time, but it doesn't have access to the app. With all its lights turned off (selecting its third lighting option) the Coway Airmega 250s uses only 4.5 watts on speed 1 while moving enough air to purify bedrooms with the windows closed. This seems to be the most energy efficient air purifier of all the ones we have even ahead of the SA600. For the living room we could recommend the Coway Airmega 400 or 400s, the Coway ProX (it doesn't have WIFI capability), the Smart Air Blast Mini (it's very barebones with no sensor or WiFi and uses quite a lot of energy on speed 1), the Smart Air SA600 (it's barebones but extremely energy efficient on speed 2), the Levoit 600s (for those with a smaller budget), the Winix 5500-2 (for those with a smaller budget), possibly the Nukit Tempest (if you don't mind how it looks and the very barebones concept of using furnace filters, we haven't tested it yet), the larger Blue Air models.
r/AirPurifiers • Purifier for wildfire smoke that looks nice ->I have both Dyson tp10 and Coway air mega 250, and coway is MUCH better than Dyson, and it's literally half the price.
r/gurgaon • Is Your Air purifier working? Efficiently? ->You need to realise that Coway will be red over the aqi of 80. It is probably known as the best air purifier company in the world along with Blue Air.
r/gurgaon • Is Your Air purifier working? Efficiently? ->Coway airmega 250 that I love 💕
r/AirPurifiers • What air purifier are you using in your bedroom? ->How many sq. ft? Coway Airmega 200M or 250. Winix 5500-2. Yes they will help a lot for allergens and odors, as long as you clean the pre-filter weekly, replace the carbon filter every six months, and replace the HEPA filter every year.
r/AirPurifiers • Best air purifier for cat dander ->I always recommend over-sizing, especially for bedrooms, as you will be running it on its lowest setting most of the time because of noise, so it essentially becomes as powerful as smaller/cheaper unit. The best-looking under $300 are probably the Coway Airmega 250 and Blueair Blue Pure 311i+ Max. I would start with those two (Airmega 250 for bedroom, Blue Pure 311i+ Max for Living Room). You want have any problem sourcing filters for any of the top brands (Coway, Blueair, Levoit, IQAir, etc.)
r/AirPurifiers • Purifier for wildfire smoke that looks nice ->You suggest 3 Coway 400 ($419) and 2 Coway 250 ($299)- = $1857 - prices taken from Coway website. I don’t disagree that these would need to be run on low speed due to noise but that’s a lot of money to spend because of the fundamental flaw of being to loud. 800 square feet doesn’t mean OP needs 5 purifiers, I guess they might if they have 5 rooms. Butbrefaowe can calculate exactly how much CADR is required. 5 Ach for 800sq ft with 9 foot ceilings means 600 CADR. IMO OP should get quiet purifiers that they can run on high and spend way less. Which means purifiers with 40db or less on high. For example: Clean Air kit xxl Luggable - 410 CADR, 39 db, 13 w, $233 Clean Air Kits XL Luggable 323 CADR, 37 db, 11 w, $200
r/AirPurifiers • Non-ionizer + QUIET air purifier? ->I have a Conway air mega 250 and it’s great. Crazy quiet on the lowest setting, puts out a lot of air on highest, energy efficient.
r/BuyItForLife • Help me pick an air purifier for a basement ->I have 5 Coway Airmega’s. 1x Airmega 250 3x AP-1512’s 1x Airmega 100 They are BY FAR the best I’ve ever had and I recommend them to everyone. There was a very thorough test video done by wire cutter that originally piqued my interest here: https://youtu.be/VM9CJZpqfpA?si=s45QTvHQnlvtbcDE
r/BuyItForLife • The REAL best air purifier - I HATE DUST! ->We have a Coway Air Mega 250 on each floor of our duplex. It has a HEPA filter and helps remove odors too. There is an air quality sensor. I like how quiet they are. Because you’re specifically worried about pet hair/dander, I would also make sure you have a HEPA vacuum — focus on mopping/vacuuming and washing/brushing the pets weekly. I have a very furry dog and my daughter ends up covered in hair when she’s crawling around so I can relate 😂
r/moderatelygranolamoms • Are air purifiers worth buying for pets? Which options would be the best you've tried? ->You have atleast 3 really good options in Australia. I am in NZ and have mix of Smart Air SA600, Blast and Blast Mini covering entire home. You need lots of charcoal in air purifier to remove smells. Ozone is bad IMO. Aussie made with around 5.5kg charcoal is Inova air purifiers https://inovaairpurifiers.com.au Smartair - Blast has 1.1kg charcoal which is there biggest model https://www.bsthealth.com.au/air-purification/air-purifiers.html Coway Airmega 250 or 400 https://www.amazon.com.au/s?k=coway+air+mega&crid=33RTBMZJEGJMB&sprefix=coway+air+mega+%2Caps%2C265&ref=nb_sb_noss_2 You need to look at CADR and how many air changes does the air purifier offers for the space it’s going to be covering. At minimum it’s good to have 5 air changes. The Medify is 4 air changes covering a very small area and it’s also very loud.
r/AirPurifiers • Air purifier for 240 volts ->I've had a coway airmega 250s for 3 years and haven't had any problems.
r/BuyItForLife • Air purifier that doesn't develop annoying bearing noises ->We have four Coway 250S. We have them running basically 24/7, and use the scheduler to ramp them up over night. Love them.
r/BuyItForLife • The REAL best air purifier - I HATE DUST! ->The coway 200 and 250 are by far the best. Clean them once a month and you'll be shocked what you were breathing. When the sun is low I don't see the shit floating in the air I was always used to. It's just totally clear.
r/BuyItForLife • The REAL best air purifier - I HATE DUST! ->We generally don't advise a combined humidifier and air purifier unit. Pushing very moist air over mechanical filtration is not advised, as it could degrade or cause microbial growth on the filter media. Levoit wasn't even mentioned in the [old buying guide](https://www.reddit.com/r/AirPurifiers/comments/w4uhgf/air_purifier_buying_guide_read_before_asking/). We (or really rather one of the moderators here) tend not to recommend cylindrical air purifiers for particulates. This is due to a concern that cylindrical or otherwise round units may have underpowered motors which must operate at higher speeds to provide adequate air flow. This can lead to motor burnout or a shortened purifier lifespan. Additionally, these units tend to have integrated pre-filters which are not ideal. A separate permanent pre-filter is best generally, as they're easier to clean and there's less risk of damaging the HEPA media. I would say Coway has better build quality than Levoit or Winix. If you're treating for dust storms, I would increase the CADRs beyond the minimum 2/3 of a room's area (with an 8 ft. ceiling assumed). You can have all the smart features you listed if you choose a Coway purifier with an "S" appended to the model name. Most Coways look pretty nice IMO. None of these units have much activated carbon for odors, but then again it's not a primary concern for you. For your bedroom, a suitable model would be the [Coway Airmega 250S](https://cowaymega.com/products/airmega-250s). Your living room is a bit trickier if it's about 3x size of your bedroom (living room: 576 sq. ft.). Minimum CADRs here should be 384 CFM, but should probably be at least 400 CFM - 500 CFM for dust storms. Unfortunately there's no one Coway model to fit the bill. Both the [Coway Airmega 300S](https://cowaymega.com/products/airmega-300s) and [Airmega 400S](https://cowaymega.com/products/airmega-400s) have lower CADRs. In this case, you need two purifiers in the living room potentially (mix or match the models mentioned above).
r/AirPurifiers • West Texas Dust Storms – Need Air Purifier Recommendations ->I have this one in my son's room and I'm happy too. I also have the 250, 300 and 400. I'm very satisfied with Conway.
r/AirPurifiers • Coway Airmega 150 mini review ->Pet dander requires a HEPA filter, with or without the boost you get from static charging depending on your tolerance for that. VOC filters such as Austin sadly come at the expense of HEPA performance. If you don’t know that you have a VOC problem you don’t need one of those. I’d avoid Honeywell just because their filter design is currently … expensive and power hungry. You just want to move as much air as possible and have a removable washable or disposable pre-filter. Look for units with high CADR, a carbon grid for pet odors, and washable or disposable pre-filters. Coway Airmega 250 and up, Winix, or there are some excellent new entries like the Airkit. Levoit Everest Air is good, but avoid their Core (round) series.
r/AirPurifiers • Does anyone have a heavy duty air purifier they’d recommend for someone with multiple pets? ->So here's the thing - no matter what anyone tells you, there is no magic box that will do what you want. Air purifiers move air at relatively low speeds through a fairly restrictive filter. That means that they only "clean" an area of about 300sqft. around the unit effectively. They are almost universally ineffective through doorways, around corners, etc. If you have HVAC, the single best thing you can do is put a better filter in and run it on "always on" (not "circulate" or "auto", but ON). The best filter for a 1" insert (the most common) is a 3M Filtrete 1900. They're $20. The problem is they clog quickly, so you'll likely have to replace them every 30-60 days. That said, it'll cover your whole house. If you don't have HVAC, you could consider an AirFanta or building your own CR box. They're ugly and loud, but they move a lot of air. Again, I'd use those 3M filters if you want to stop smoke. Dust and other allergens, any ol' filter will do. The "traditional" route would also be to put several purifiers in your home, sized appropriately for the rooms - a large one for the open living space, and smaller ones for the bedrooms. I have the following setup: 1st floor, 1000 sqft, semi-open plan: I have an IQ Air and an Austin running at opposite corners of the home on a constant speed of medium. 2nd floor (bedrooms, also 1000 sqft): Master bedroom has a Coway 250, guest bedroom has a Winix 5500-2, both kids' bedrooms have Blueair 411's. Finished Basement (also 1000 sqft): Coway Mighty and Winix 5500-2 at opposite ends, running as needed (since the basement gets less outside air) and the one bedroom down there has an aging but still functional HEPA from Idyllis/3M (the Lowes brand) that was purchased years ago but uses 3M HEPA filters. IN ADDITION, I use MERV13 in my furnace and my ERV. The air here is VERY CLEAN. (Bad allergies run in the family...)
r/AirQuality • Best Air Purifier to Buy Now? ->There is no hands-down winner because those are three very different use cases. Hair requires high CFM, dust requires HEPA filtration, and odor requires carbon. The best all in one unit with those features is… none. Iq Air comes close but due to its vertical bottom-to-top filter flow, won’t suck up much hair. You’d be better served with a purifier that has a little carbon, such as a Coway Airmega 160 or winix 5500 (or zero pro in Europe) and then an additional carbon unit such as an Austin Healthmate junior. But by then you’re spending $800 or more and may as well get an IQ Air health pro plus. My solution to this issue - and we have cat litter in our bedroom’s en suite - is: 1. Vacuum daily. My Dyson v8 takes up cat hair like nobody’s business and my Miele C3 gets the rest. 2. Coway 250 in the bedroom. It has a little carbon but really the trick is… 3. Raw feeding with a fresh water fountain. Cats that are raw fed don’t have smelly litter. I know, crazy right? But since not everyone can raw feed, make sure that your cat food is almost exclusively MEAT. Cats turn carbs (grain, veggies) into smelly pee. They don’t need them for nutrition at all. The more MEAT and WATER your cat consumes the better their litter will smell.
r/AirPurifiers • What’s hands-down, the best air purifier for pet odor, hair and dust? ->You're overlooking a couple key points: 1. Everything Shark builds is disposable. 2. There's no such thing as a filter that lasts 5 years. Even Austin and IQAir, I'm skeptical of their claims. My IQAir filter, at 2.5 years, is pretty discolored. And that's with ANOTHER HEPA FILTER in front of it to keep it clean. There is ABSOLUTELY NO WAY that Shark has a 5 year filter. I always worry when people make purchase decisions for air purifiers based on "style", because although I do like the look of my AirMega 250 for the master bedroom, it isn't "stylish" and frankly any purifier that looks nice probably doesn't clean air.
r/AirPurifiers • Help me to decide between Shark Neverchange vs Levoit Everest Air vs Levoit Vital 200S ->You have a cat - be aware, hair will get in the unit. DO NOT buy a cheap round purifier. They will get fouled very quickly. Levoit VITAL (not Core) is a good choice. As is Winix 5500-2, Coway Mighty or 150. 3 rooms at 300 square feet each shouldn't be an issue, but you may want to size up for the largest space (living room, I'd assume) which could certainly use a Coway 250 instead. If it were me, I'd do Coway 150 or Winix 5500 or Levoit Vital in the bedrooms, and Coway 250 in the living space, unless your master bedroom is bigger. In our house we have Coway 250 in the Master, smaller units in the other bedrooms, and another larger unit in the living area.
r/AirPurifiers • Any good budget air purifiers? ->Coway 250 in the master bedroom. Winix 5500-2 in the guest bedroom. The kids chose their own, and two of them chose Blueair 411's. The other is using an old 3m Filtrete HEPA model because he likes the sound. But all of them have 12x12 rooms, give or take.
r/AirPurifiers • What air purifier are you using in your bedroom? ->Sigh. If you searched this subreddit at all you’d see that in general round purifiers are suspect when they claim to be HEPA because HEPA filters cannot be deformed or vacuumed. But you’d also know that Levoit purifiers clean air quite well. If you REALLY need HEPA - and remember, asbestos is a fairly large fiber, compared to pollen - then just get a square filter from literally any manufacturer. If I were filtering possible asbestos, I’d be more concerned about the SEAL than the filter. Coway 150, Coway 250 and up have foam gaskets around the filters for a better seal.
r/AirPurifiers • Air purifier for asbestos fibers. ->Sigh. Listen, offhand all I know of is the Coway AirMega series 250/300/400. But seriously, please see other responses - you need to remediate the Asbestos.
r/AirPurifiers • Air purifier for asbestos fibers. ->Define “environmental allergies”. Everyone in my house has allergies and I’m a sensitive flower. I use an IQair on the main floor and sleep with a Coway Airmega 250. My kids sleep with blueair 411’s and the other rooms have winix 5500’a. They’re all fine choices. Get what works for you. Don’t be afraid to return units that aren’t making the grade.
r/AirPurifiers • Can you recommend an air purifier? Overwhelmed with the options. ->Don't get a Jaspr, either. Get a proven, well-regarded unit. Coway, Winix, or if you really want to throw your money into something, IQAir. But don't spend $1000 on a sold-direct-to-Internet-landfill air purifier. Please. I know some folks have indicated that the Jaspr isn't bad (might even be quite good) but the price point is nearly identical to the known best-in-breed purifier (IQAir). In order to effectively combat dust, you need multiple smaller units, and a HEPA sealed vacuum. If you are vacuuming exclusively with Dyson, that's the first problem. Dyson's filtration is NOT HEPA, no matter what they say. Hop over to r/vacuumcleaners (where I'm also a frequent poster) and ask around. I personally use a Dyson v8 for daily crumb and cat hair cleanup, and a Miele C3 for weekly deep-cleans. Dust steps: 1. Vacuum with a HEPA, sealed vacuum. Preferably bagged. If not bagged, then empty the vacuum outside. 2. Dust all surfaces with a wet duster (spray and rag or even just a wet rag). 3. Repeat both of these steps daily for a couple weeks. 4. Hypoallergenic bedding, since most dust comes from your body while you sleep. 5. A purifier in rooms where the kids spend a lot of time - bedrooms, playroom. Sized properly for the room. I recommend Coway Airmega units of whatever size, but there are others that are quite good. 6. Repeat steps 1 and two, at least twice a week, forever. Purifiers don't reduce dust, they reduce airborn dust mite detritus. Surface dust can be just as bad for someone who has an allergy, and purifiers do literally nothing for this. If you're going to spend $1000 on something, I recommend: 2 x AirMega 150 or 1512 ($150 each) = $300 1 x AirMega 250 ($250 each) = $250 Kenmore Sealed HEPA Vacuum = $300 Hypoallergenic bedding = $150 That's $1000, and far better spent than a Jaspr or Dyson purifier. :)
r/AirPurifiers • Can you recommend an air purifier? Overwhelmed with the options. ->Ok so a couple thoughts: 1. Buy an air quality monitor separately from the purifier. They go for everywhere from $50-$100 (IKEA, TemTop) to $250-$300 (Purple Air, AirThings). But the purifiers with sensors are useless - the sensors are inaccurate, without exception. 2. Be aware that purifiers aren't magic - a unit in your living room does a lot less than you'd think for air quality in your bedroom. You'd be better served with multiple smaller units. 3. You need to do the air volume calculation (square feet multiplied by ceiling height) and compare that to the CFM to see how much purifier you need. All of the units you're considering will clean the air in your living room without question. However, if you intend to try to move air around in and out of bedrooms, the larger ones on the list (BlueAir211, Coway 230/240/250) will do a better job than the smaller ones (BlueAir 311, Coway 200/1512). My PERSONAL recommendation would be to get smaller units for the bedrooms (BlueAir 411 for example) then one medium volume unit for the living area (BlueAir 311 for example). It's what we do - we have 1100 square feet per floor, and I use an IQAir and Austin Air on the first floor's open-ish area (in opposite corners of the floor) and smaller units (BlueAir 411's) for the kids' bedrooms as well as one good-sized unit (Coway 250) for the master suite. This has been a workable model for me for quite some time now, since last wildfire season actually.
r/AirPurifiers • Purifier for wildfire smoke that looks nice ->Coway and BlueAir are great. Make sure it says "True HEPA," unless you build a corsi-rosenthal box Levoit ones aren't always true hepa.
r/BuyItForLife • Home air purifier. Especially those good for people with allergies ->I have two Coway Airmegas and a Winix D4. I prefer the Coway. They all make a significant difference with the smoke.
r/Edmonton • Home air purifier recommendation for wildfire smoke ->I have a Conway Airmega for my chicken brooder (chickens create a ton of dust as they grow, and they have to be inside for a few weeks cause they don’t have feathers yet) and it really cuts down on the dust.
r/BuyItForLife • The REAL best air purifier - I HATE DUST! ->I have 1 Conway AirMega ($170 ea) in each room that runs on med 24/7 365. Prior to the air purifiers the kids n wife would always have allergies n congestion/cough for what seemed like year round. My wife would have to pop Benadryl till it knocked her out. Slowly I started putting the air purifiers in each room, vacuuming the pre filter every time we vacuum the floors and they’ve gotten so much better since then. It’s been several years at this point. They still have the allergy fits every once n a while but it’s a lot less frequent. It’s not the prettiest solution to have one in every room, but for us I think it’s been worth the ongoing expense as the filters aren’t particularly cheap ($34 for 2). I’ve done a few other things that probably helped too. I swapped out the 1 inch filter return registers for 4 inch returns. I get 4 inch merv 13s from AprilAire. And I also started vacuuming with a true hepa vacuum.
r/homeowners • What are the best air purifiers for home currently? Do you notice any difference when using them? ->Used these for 3-4 years. Never broke. They do the job but a Conway airmega is significantly quieter and an handle a bigger space, also has air quality monitoring that is super helpful and can be set to automatically increase filtration if air quality is poor. That said Levoit remains an excellent choice if you’re on more of a budget.
r/BuyItForLife • Looking To Get This Air Purifier For My College Apartmenth ->I love my Coway AirMega! We’ve had it for a few years now and any time we have strong cooking smells or if I spray some hairspray, it kicks into gear and I can tell it’s working! Can’t speak to the longevity/BIFL just yet but I’ve been happy thus far and it seems like it’s great quality. I also buy their name brand filters. *EDIT: brand is “Coway” and phone auto corrected to “Conway”
r/BuyItForLife • The Best Air Purifiers? ->Yep, we’re a 4 Coway household here too.
r/BuyItForLife • The REAL best air purifier - I HATE DUST! ->I’ve had Coway AirMegas, Winix, and Whirlpool Whispure, and Coway is by far the best home purifier in my opinion. I have an AirThings air quality monitor and a dust allergy, and these filters make a difference. You do need to clean the Coway prefilter regularly, but it’s easy to do. I didn’t know they sold off market filters so I’ll have to look into that because the filters can be costly.
r/BuyItForLife • The Best Air Purifiers? ->I have 2 Coway airmegas that are super quiet that I’ve had for nearly 2 years. Do you change your filters regularly? Only one I would not recommend is Winix—I had one of the smaller models and its noise was very inconsistent and it was poorly constructed compared to the Coway Airmega and the Honeywell Whispure (a tiny model).
r/BuyItForLife • Air purifier that doesn't develop annoying bearing noises ->I have 3-4 Coway Airmegas and Winix 5500s. I found them all on my local Facebook Marketplace for $50-75 over the last 12 months. All in great condition. Previous owners sold because they were moving (college students; young professionals).
r/homeowners • Best Air Purifiers for Pets? ->Buy the Coway air mega it usually goes on sale pretty often. 10/10
r/CleaningTips • Air Purifier sucking dust in my room ->If I’d known about Austin Air when I bought my Coway Air Mega and Blue Air, I would’ve definitely picked Austin Air and I may still get one. It’s pricey, but so are Coway and Blue Air when you add up the cumulative price of filters. And, I find I need filter replacements much more often than recommended further increasing the cost.
r/BuyItForLife • Home air purifier. Especially those good for people with allergies ->Coway airmega it's excellent. I have mine going 24 hours a day and it senses everything. It also filters the tiniest particles.
r/AirPurifiers • Air purifier recommendations? ->The airmega. You can buy filters specifically for dust. There's 3 different types of filters i believe you can buy, the original and two more alternatives
r/AirPurifiers • Air purifier recommendations? ->This is the choice - had mine over a year and still going strong
r/BuyItForLife • Looking for recommendations for a hepa air purifier. ->We have two Coway Airmega units, one on either side of the house. They have been on 24/7 for several years now. Maintenance and cleaning are very minimal. Cost is about $150-200, although there are larger units based on how big of an area you need to filter. We are very happy with them! Whichever purifier you choose, I highly recommend you look into one with a replaceable HEPA filter. Other filtration methods just won’t give the same results.
r/homeowners • What are the best air purifiers for home currently? Do you notice any difference when using them? ->Agreed! And they now offer different filters depending on what is most important to you to filter: one for smoke, one for allergens, etc.
r/BuyItForLife • The Best Air Purifiers? ->This is the only correct answer. Don’t get air mega aim tho that’s a scam
r/BuyItForLife • The REAL best air purifier - I HATE DUST! ->Seconding. Got ours 2020 so can't really vouch for the longevity. We usually keep it on auto... though once in awhile we have to go turn it off when watching TV because it goes into overdrive for no apparent reason-- but this is fairly rare.
r/BuyItForLife • Looking for recommendations for a hepa air purifier. ->We have a 2500 sq ft home so we have several air purifiers. I went off wirecutter’s list and got Coway Airmega for the rooms with higher ceilings and Levoit for the kid rooms and office (where the litter box is). We have had them for a year and I’m happy with them. They’ve significantly cut down on daycare illness transmission within our household. Instead of all 4 of us getting sick it’s 1 kid and sometimes 1 parent per illness.
r/moderatelygranolamoms • What are the best air purifiers for home to enhance indoor air quality currently? ->I have one. They are legit.
r/BuyItForLife • The REAL best air purifier - I HATE DUST! ->We also have the Coway Airmega. Have one on each floor. They work very well. However, we prefer the replacement filters no direct from Coway- read the reviews on Amazon, but the Coway ones had some issues with plastic smells/making air quality worse. Some type of defect.
r/moderatelygranolamoms • What are the best air purifiers that you'll recommend for home currently? ->Coway airmega gets my vote. Got 2 on amazon since pademic and they've been pretty good by far.
r/moderatelygranolamoms • What is the best air purifier brand for home you prefer over the others on the market? ->I have the Coway mega and a taotronics ap-003. I like the taotronics ap-003 more and it cost 85 usd.
r/AirPurifiers • Air Purifier for Dorm Room ->I've got a Coway airmega in our bedroom, and a BlueAir in my office at work. I love both of them... I'm a therapist and work in an 8'x10' room talking to people for an hour 5-6 hours some days. I think the BlueAir is a big reason why I haven't picked up any of the respiratory stuff some clients have come in with (well, that + vaccines + mindful hand washing/sanitizing). It's also pretty quiet which is important to me. I'm planning on picking up another BlueAir or two for the rest of my house this spring. The pricepoint is kinder than my Coway, and it's much quieter.
r/moderatelygranolamoms • What is the best air purifier brand for home you prefer over the others on the market? ->Coway Airmega; which model depends on the size of the space. Make sure it has a charcoal filter.
r/fednews • Air purifier for small office ->This. I have a winix 5500, two blue air 411s and two coway airmegas and the coway is my favorite by far.
r/AirPurifiers • Looking for a small, cheap air purifier for a small apartment to clear smell of shared vents. Considering Levoit, Jafanda or Airtok. ->\+1 Coway Airmega.
r/Home • What's the best air purifier for home you've used? Worth it or Scam? ->I picked up a coway airmega during the Smokey season last year and let it run in the living room. It does a pretty good job of keeping the dust, cooking odor and old house smell to a minimum.
r/homeowners • Advice on choosing the best air purifier for home among tons of options available today - Do they really work or are they just a SCAM? ->The sensors are amazing. The review on Amazon sold me " my dog farted and it instantly kicked on and I never smell them anymore" Yes whenever I cook or smoke they instantly kick on and work really well.
r/BuyItForLife • The REAL best air purifier - I HATE DUST! ->I really like the Levoit. It’s super quiet on the lowest setting and you can turn the lights off. My husband is a bozo who needs white noise to sleep so he always turns it up to its highest setting and then doesn’t turn the lights off. We have a coway airmega for our living area but I prefer the way the Levoit looks and my older son kept messing with the coway and it got stuck on a setting so I can’t turn it up or down. ETA I also have a roomba because I am allergic to dogs but my dog is my favorite child and I let him sleep on my bed during the day.
r/moderatelygranolamoms • What are the Best Air Purifier for Allergies? ->Air purifiers aren’t regulated so getting one that has undergone 3rd party testing is important in order to know they do what they claim they do. Coway Airmega does 3rd party testing. The ones that have an ozone setting have it as optional — something you have to turn on to use. We just never use it. Insane to me that they even have those. Yes, ozone is bad for people with asthma. Also bad for pets, especially birds. And probably people generally. I love that my coways automatically rev up in response to detected poor air quality. And they are whisper quiet when just in background mode. We only notice them when the go into high gear — usually when we are cooking. Edit to add: wirecutter still rates coway as a top purifier: https://www.nytimes.com/wirecutter/reviews/best-air-purifier/
r/moderatelygranolamoms • What are the best air purifiers that you'll recommend for home currently? ->I’ve had mine for over 6 years and they’re still going strong. I love them
r/moderatelygranolamoms • What are the best air purifiers that you'll recommend for home currently? ->Coway Airmega looks like a solid pick, especially as it’s clearing out musty smells and reducing allergens while adding that cool breeze feature. I’ve run a few models non-stop in rooms with high humidity, and once they started picking up those subtle odors, I knew I was onto something. I’ve tried some models from Blueair and Medify before, but ConsumerRating is what I ended up trusting because it lined up features like filter life and energy efficiency to my needs. Coway seems to hit that balance of performance and reliability, which is exactly what I’m after.
r/BuyItForLife • What are the Best Air Purifier in 2025? ->I have three too. They've run 24/7 for years without an issue. Third party filters work fine and are half the price.
r/BuyItForLife • The Best Air Purifiers? ->I recommend the Coway Airmegas. To be effective, it will need to run at full blast. Get one with a high CADR or pick up multiples.
r/AirPurifiers • Best air purifier for apartments affected by wildfires? ->I vote for Coway Airmega. I have 3 of them and they’re great
r/BuyItForLife • The Best Air Purifiers? ->We bought an Airmega four years ago (the last big wildfire year in California's bay area) and it's been a terrific purchase. It helped then with that acute problem, but it also helps keep particulates low year round. It's quiet, doesn't take a huge amount of space, and it makes a noticeable difference in the main living areas of our home (I don't expect it to work in bedrooms at the other end of the house). Do recommend, but the Coway app is pretty crappy.
r/BuyItForLife • Home air purifier. Especially those good for people with allergies ->I don't think those will be effective in such a large open space. For heating and cooling, with what you could spend on a couple of those Dysons, you could get a mini-split heat pump for heating and cooling. As a purifier the BP04 will be okay but you can spend half as much for better performance with a Coway Airmega or Nuwave Oxypure. You could build a Corsi-Rosenthal box for the best performance to price, but DIY isn't for everyone.
r/BuyItForLife • Air purifier heating/cooling Combos suggestions ->I have 4 Coway AirMegas in my house they’re great
r/BuyItForLife • The REAL best air purifier - I HATE DUST! ->That’s what we have! My baby is also obsessed with it; not a day goes by that he doesn’t crawl up to it and start poking his little fingers into the holes on the front 😂
r/moderatelygranolamoms • Air purifiers? ->I love my coway airmega.
r/moderatelygranolamoms • Are air purifiers worth buying for pets? Which options would be the best you've tried? ->I have several Coway airmega and they are legit wonderful. They have an app so I can set programs for the speed, and report on air quality. I run these full time for years and they still are working great. Ive had several other brands but these are the best.
r/moderatelygranolamoms • Air purifiers? ->I tried a Dyson TP07 once, but it felt pricey for my budget, so I leaned toward Coway Airmega because it handles pet hair and dust pretty nicely.
r/moderatelygranolamoms • What are the best air purifiers that you'll recommend for home currently? ->I have a Coway Airmega at home, and it handles smoke and pet dander well without getting too loud.
r/BuyItForLife • The Best Air Purifiers? ->I have two Coway Airmega that run like absolute champs and have very widely available and affordable filters
r/BuyItForLife • Air purifier for living room and bedroom ->We're so happy with our 2 Coway Airmega for each bedroom.
r/ZeroCovidCommunity • What are the best air purifier brands for home use in terms of air filter quality and other specs in your opinion? ->Me too! I’ve tried the fancier copay’s but this one is the best for the money. Filters are reasonable and it has good power to circulate air.
r/BuyItForLife • The REAL best air purifier - I HATE DUST! ->I love the Coway Airmega! I run it all day in the living room. Thinking about a small one fit the bedroom too.
r/moderatelygranolamoms • What are the best air purifiers for home to enhance indoor air quality currently? ->First thing I want to say and it's important. The most important thing you need to know is that the air purifier has got to have true HEPA that is not an option ... 3m/filtrete is a joke of a purifier. They are terrible and do not last. biggest problem you have with their air purifiers are they are not sealed purifiers. There is a lot of dust that gets through other places and bypasses the filter in the unit and then what happens is it collects after the output vent so you will eventually start seeing dust there. Another is their filter cost. It's insane. if you look at their filter replacement schedule, it says the filter lasts 12 months used six hours a day.... air purifier are supposed to run 24/7 to have full effect so if you run it 24 seven that’s every three months their filters are also small... but I personally recommend and have used the past is these two for your size room are these I'll link. you get an air purifier that is going to be more powerful in your price range and will last for starters... There’s a reason why you want something with a higher CADR is because it will clean the air more frequently in that room and clean it better. You will get more air changes per hour basically and that’s a good thing. Also, you’re not gonna have dust getting past your filters and leaking out of the top of collecting everywhere else. You will also get a true 12 month filter when you run it 24/7. It comes with a TRUE HEPA and four replacement carbon filters. One of them will even include a additional year of filters if not both of them out of the box. The Coway Airmega is also another amazing air purifier for the price, however the filter costs have you replacing filters every 3 or 4 months with full use. Alen is also expensive from the get go but filters are annual. I have used these Winx purifiers in the past and I love them the plasmawave can be turned on or off I'd it's a concern but it doesn't produce ozone. I am just linking site so you can get all the information on them however I don’t know if you have a Costco membership or they still sell them or not but it was a great place to get these at an even cheaper price. https://www.winixamerica.com/product/c535/?_gl=1*1v4e0th*_up*MQ..&gclid=CjwKCAjwwLO_BhB2EiwAx2e-35mFNXJgc1BeCOGMGegBQ-An_KwmCD6L29mTNy-0yyIBkVrET2C_jhoC034QAvD_BwE https://www.winixamerica.com/product/c545/?_gl=1*u8q5cp*_up*MQ..&gclid=CjwKCAjwwLO_BhB2EiwAx2e-35mFNXJgc1BeCOGMGegBQ-An_KwmCD6L29mTNy-0yyIBkVrET2C_jhoC034QAvD_BwE
r/AirPurifiers • Need help choosing an air purifier for allergies ->Coways are sold in europe but you need to find them on sale and that only happens once in a while, I was able to get my coway airmega for \~450 eur. Your other options are AEG (currently having lots of discounts) and winix. There is also rowenta, phillips & amazon basic, I personally don't like rowenta so I'd avoid it. If I was looking for a purifier, I'd try to get the AX9, has an insane CADR and costs around 330 eur right now.
r/AirPurifiers • Air purifier for 30-40m2 im Europe? ->I followed the Wirecutter recommendation and have a Coway Airmega. Two technically, one for our room and one for the baby's room. My allergies are a lot better after using them. My only gripe is that the first one we got makes a slight knocking noise sometimes, like it's just a bit out of balance. Usually if I turn it off, let it sit for a minute, and turn it back on again it goes away, but it absolutely drove me nuts when I was trying to sleep. I can't hear it over the white noise machine we use now though.
r/moderatelygranolamoms • What are the best air purifiers for home to enhance indoor air quality currently? ->We've been happy with Coway airmega (one for kitchen, one for bedroom).
r/moderatelygranolamoms • What is the best air purifier brand for home you prefer over the others on the market? ->Wirecutter recommended the Coway Airmega. I got 2, one for the living room and one for the main bedroom. They have a sensor and cycle higher when there’s more particulates in the air. It has a prefilled and a main filter (that you change only once a year). It has an indicator light to tell you when to clean/change. Here’s the wirecutter piece: https://www.nytimes.com/wirecutter/reviews/best-air-purifier/
r/Home • Your top choices when it comes to the best Home Air Purifiers? ->These. I raise pet pigeons (very very dusty) in my house and these are what I use.
r/BuyItForLife • The REAL best air purifier - I HATE DUST! ->so you need specifically, a HEPA filter - Austin Air makes a terrific one. So does Coway - the AirMega
r/AirQuality • i feel bad all the time in my new apartment (no central air). took a measurement today and this is what it was. what can i do? is this liveable? i have asthma so I'm sensitive to air quality ->For what its worth, NY Times Wirecutter blog tested a bunch and ranked the Coway Air Mega as the best option. I bought one and am happy with it. https://www.nytimes.com/wirecutter/reviews/best-air-purifier/
r/AskLosAngeles • Air purifier suggestions!? ->budget budget, build a corsi-rosenthal otherwise, get a coway airmega. it's a little pricier than some but it has a carbon filter which is great for smells. prefilter catches a lot and saves wear and tear on the hepa panel
r/AirPurifiers • air purifiers on a budget! ->The Coway Airmega is really good. We have three of the larger model.
r/homebridge • What's the best air purifier widely picked now? ->Is there enough ventilation overall? Opening windows in the winter will dry out the interior air but a fan or air purifier is just recirculating the air already in the room. I recently got an Inkbird CO2 sensor to see when it's getting stuffy. I did a DIY hack turning a 自然換気口 (passive air inlet vent) into a powered intake fan that has a PM filter. The models were basically the same size so it was an easy swap. Then I ran an extension cable to an outlet. For air purifiers I use Airmega Coway as the filters are robust. I don't use humidifiers due to condensation risk from poor construction (less of an issue in concrete mansion).
r/japanresidents • Air humidifier and purifier frustrations - Any recommendations? ->I've had a Coway airmega going 24/7 for six years that hasn't developed any noise problems
r/BuyItForLife • Air purifier that doesn't develop annoying bearing noises ->Second the coway airmega- we use it for our kid's room, but have it on a set setting (rather than the auto setting) because when it would turn on to max air purifier it gets pretty loud.
r/moderatelygranolamoms • What are the best air purifiers for home to enhance indoor air quality currently? ->After pursuing BIFL I decided to pick one up as well. I have two kids with seasonal allergies and this thing has been amazing!!!
r/BuyItForLife • The REAL best air purifier - I HATE DUST! ->Second Coway.
r/BuyItForLife • The REAL best air purifier - I HATE DUST! ->Agree. Our Coway Airmega does a great job, and has an "economy auto" mode you can just leave it on all the time. And if you remove and brush pet hair off the prefilter once in a while, your filters should last a long time.
r/BuyItForLife • What are the Best Air Purifier in 2025? ->The Coway Mega is fantastic for dust, pet dander, woodsmoke. Had mine for a year now.
r/BuyItForLife • Mega allergy sufferer, what's the best damn industrial air purifier I can possibly get? I just need it for a small apartment, but I don't care, I suffer so badly that I'll blow $1k if I have to clean every molecule from my sleeping environment. ->Coway Air Mega for the win! It’s big. It’s quiet on low speed. Did I say it’s big? It sucks a vacuum cleaners worth of crap out of my air every three or four months.
r/BuyItForLife • Looking for recommendations for a hepa air purifier. ->This one is kinda meh. Get a Coway Airmega instead
r/Costco • Any thoughts on pictured air purifier? ->We have a Levoit Everest-air by our grey’s cage, and a couple of Coway Airmegas in each bedroom. I would say an air purifier is mandatory for your health if you own a dusty bird like a grey. Always turn off the ionizer (or get one without it A prefilter that is removable for cleaning is super handy. If you keep it washed (or vacuumed) your air filter lasts so much longer. It’s crazy the amount of dust that collects on the prefilters!
r/AfricanGrey • Air purifier experience ->I’m a huge anti-viral illness and clean air mindful person and based on my research and cost, I’d recommend the Coway Airmega. The prices can be decent, sleek look, not too loud, and most importantly they have many articles out there recommending them for actually working.
r/askvan • People using air purifiers in single rooms/ condos/ small apartments ->I’m in the uk and got a Coway airmega and it’s great. Did my research and wouldn’t change it. If you reaaaaaaly want to go all in, there’s some guys on yt that build their own using PC fans but it’s a bit overkill
r/BuyItForLife • In need of an air purifier for an open living room that is low energy. ->Coway room aipurifier is amazing. We have it in our bedroom. Though our area is quite clean it does remove dust and fungal odour during winters
r/Chennai • Do we need air purifiers? What has been your experience with these machines? ->
