"Last year there were wildfires nearby and the airmega kicked itself into high gear (I keep it on auto), so I do really trust that it’s actually doing something."

"The sensors are amazing. ... Yes whenever I cook or smoke they instantly kick on and work really well."

"great to put it on eco mode , as it detects poor air quality it automatically switches modes to higher setting and shows it as purple or red and once air is back to being good it goes back to eco mode and shows blue."

Coway Airmega 150 or Airmega Aim. I have both and happy with both of them.

It does purify but I prefer mega for its ability to blend with the interiors and cheaper replacement filters

r/AirPurifiersAre there air purifiers that create a breeze to cool someone, similar to a fan?

Coway has a fan/air purifier - Airmega Aim. I got it free with purchase about a month ago. Fan puts out nice airflow, has HEPA filter, auto settings, remote and works as good as the other Coways. [https://cowaymega.com/products/airmega-aim](https://cowaymega.com/products/airmega-aim)

\+1 Levoit is pretty neat for small spaces. Additionally [Qubo Q500](https://amzn.to/482LVtU), [Cuckoo Respure](https://amzn.to/4oXxQ7z) or [Coway Airmega Aim](https://amzn.to/49RTrdp) will also be suitable for smaller spaces.

Buy a high CADR air purifier for simple solution for clean indoor air. Additionally, use some plants indoors to regulate CO2 and O2 levels due to closed doors. Pick a purifier rated for at least the room area (or higher) and aim for higher ACH if AQI is often >100. AHAM/CADR info helps compare air purifier models. Also, preferably look for a model with good filter availability for long-term usage convenience. The following models are good to purchase considering the above factors: Choose [Qubo Q500](https://amzn.to/482LVtU) for a high CADR device with the best in-class CADR, making it great for quick purification in spaces around 500 sqft. It also automatically adjusts the fan speed and mode based on real-time AQI levels using AI technology, and also comes with a 4-layer True HEPA H13 filtration to remove maximum pollutants. If you're looking for a cheaper, long-lasting option and also quick air purification, you have [Cuckoo Respure](https://amzn.to/4oXxQ7z). High CADR 408 m³/hr. Good mid-range air purifier with value for money for those living in smaller houses, but high-pollution places. Has features such as a copper-infused HEPA filter to neutralize airborne microbes, viruses, and bacteria. If you prefer something that's not noisy, easy filter replacement, and an amazing value for money product with a good cleaning rate, you can go for the [Coway Airmega Aim](https://amzn.to/49RTrdp). High CADR of 400+ m³/hr. Overall, great balance of performance and low noise (as low as 22 dB). Bonus: Combine air purifiers with [robo vacuum cleaner](https://amzn.to/47zwPwP) to ensure an even better dust-free experience, especially if you live in a very dusty place.

I have coway flat version and the round Aim version, one for each bedroom. ayou can go ahead with either of them but the flat version is much quieter than the round one and also from my experience cleans up a few minutes faster than the round one. that said both get the job done well and ai have had no issues. I prefer the flat one since it has the removable pre filter to wash and quieter and firs snugly against wall.

Aim is decent. You can also get the philips one. Model reads something like A1C950/60. I think its around 10K on blinkit.

Only downside of AIM is that it has no aqi display. Otherwise it’s not bad.

r/AirPurifiers[INDIA] Is coway air mega aim suitable in winters
3 months ago

Yep. You "feel" colder due to increased heat loss from the skin ("wind chill"), which is thermodynamically and biologically identical to the room temperature decreasing. For winter use, I would prefer fans that are aiming their output air toward the ceiling. If you really want the AIM (eg for added cooling in summertime), I would point it toward an interior wall or furniture to stop the wind. Don't point it at an exterior wall, because then it will accelerate heat loss from that part of the wall. If there is a damp "musty" corner that always develops every winter, you can point the airflow against that. Then you are turning a problem (airflow against outside walls increased heat loss) from a problem into a Solution. Good luck!

It makes noise man at max speed, though it is rugged and motor is very much exposed, easily reparable, I think as far as its filters are continued this could be in service, 7 years warranty it has so hopefully it's filters come for minimum this much years too

I do own one. You can move it's head along the Y axis so you can simply make it face upwards. It will keep filtering the air whilst not bothering you with the draft of air. Only con I feel is that it doesn't display any of the pollutant levels; only has different colors to indicate air quality. But again I am new to air purifiers so not sure if others have such a thing.

r/RabbitsIs it worth buying an air purifier?

I use horse bedding pellets from Tractor Supply, I pour them on the bottom of the litter bin and then put a bunch of hay on top. It works pretty good, someone on here said they found something even better but I forget the name. As far as air purifiers? Absolutely. A great air purifier sucks up so much fur - not perfect, but I vacuum mine every day so it’s easy to see the good work it does. It’s a Coway Mega. Works very nicely. If they’re shedding fur is crazy then they may be shedding, brushing will always make things easier but the purifier is great
