Running these analyses costs money. Buy through my links to help keep lights on! I may get a small commission.
I have 3x coway mega (ap1220), coway mega 300s, blue air 7740, philips, airfanta pro. Philips is useless, others are similar and all good. Coways are perhaps my favourites. In paricuoar, Coway 300s is big, which means I can run it on a lower setting, it is quiet but still works. Airfanta is good but looks a bit rough. Blueair is very quiet on a low setting, but too expensive. I would take the largest / with highest capacity you can buy. And check the replacement filter prices before buying, blueair in particular is expensive. I occasionally buy dupes for replacement filters, and last time I could not find any differences between the branded one and the copy on the outside. But obviously, you never know.
Coway 150 wont be able to match up with the units you mentioned I agree On Coway UK website, airmega 150 is listed as an item under "small spaces" category. Also in UK they are giving Activated Carbon filter instead of the urethane carbon sheet being given in airmega 150 sold in India. I think its not good that coway india is charging higher for their models in this November 2025 month because of pollution and protests . there is huge demand of purifiers for sure but they should adjust their rates. Coway products are more expensive than other brands I think. And need to compare the above winix, xiaomi products with their "medium space" purifiers I believe. Also want to say that I just love my coway airmega strom AP-1220B machine. Its a beautiful and well designed effective air cleaner.
I mean what an amazing reply - this is why I post on Reddit. Yes im in the UK sorry about not mentioning that! Im totally sold - will get the coway mega air jet 🥰 Thank you so much for your detailed response and recommendations!
No, Dyson is one of the worst! The HP09 has terrible Clean Air Delivery Rates (CADRs). They just know how to market effectively. As **Rule 4** and the AutoModerator comment repeats, it's helpful to know the ceiling height. I'll assume it's 2.4 meters. 60 m^(2) x 2.4 = 144 m^(3). For rooms measured in meters, CADR should be at least 3 times a room's volume (in m^(3)). So the minimum CADR should be 432 m^(3)/h. If you have [allergies, health conditions, high pollution, etc.](https://www.reddit.com/r/AirPurifiers/wiki/index/how_to_choose_an_air_purifier_for_particulates/#wiki_when_higher_than_normal_cadrs_may_be_needed), multiply the room's volume by 4-6. So CADRs of 576 - 864 m^(3)/h. Coway is a high quality brand that's relatively quiet. I don't know exactly where you are, so I don't know what's available to you. But the [Coway Airmega 400](https://www.amazon.co.uk/purifier-restaurant-certified-HyperCaptive-filtration/dp/B099S9Y285) would be a very good fit (Amazon UK website linked). If you can't find that, the Coway Airmega 300 might suffice... although you may want to supplement it with a smaller Coway model like the Coway Airmega Jet.
I noticed the same recently. Each model's price is up by 6,000 when compared to my last purchase a few years ago. But having said that, I only trust Coway. All these models offer excellent performance and reliability - AirMega 250, AirMega Storm and AirMega 150.
Coway AP storm. Great device. Switchbot on top?
