Have been searching for a while. Narrowed my list to three options (Have not kept coway Airmega aim as it's cadr is low) 1. Honeywell Air touch v5 ( cadr 380) . Con. Size is small hence filter size would also be small 2. Xiaomi Mi 4 Lite (cadr 380)- saw reviews that aqi meter is not accurate and hence auto mode is not very reliable. Does clean the air though. It also doesn't have Hepa 13 but has true hepa filter 3. Cuckoo respure - High cadr 407 and the biggest filter. Further has 8 year warranty on motor and looks like a no nonsense purchase. Gives a free filter as qell. Have not seen much recommendations on YouTube for this though 4. Qubo 600 - Seems like a decent buy but have read sensor reliability issues and also it's a new brand so no idea of long term ownership. Still confused as to which one to buy
Hey, I ordered Cuckoo Respure yesterday. Most did show out of stock. I just preferred that it comes with a larger filter size, accurate aqui display (color based) , and high warranty. If not this , I would have ordered Xiaomi, since it has a lot of positive reviews on YouTube and Reddit. (Available on flipkart, blinkit and Mi app)
I bought cuckoo respure. Although the name sounds funny, the product is really good. They give 8 years motor warranty and 1 set of filters free. It is true hepa filter. Using it for the last 15 days. It has passed the tests I did - i moved it from a purified room to my lobby, the indicator turned red within seconds indicating how fast the sensor detects aqi changes, did vice versa test too.
cuckoo respure any time.
Can vouch for Cuckoo. It works.
I have Respure Air Purifier from cuckoo, it's a basic air purifier which does its job, no fancy multi stage filtration just a normal hepa h13 filter which does its job perfectly. You can find it on Amazon and a lot of people will suggest you coway air purifier which is also a good option if it was 9k as the filter size of respure is 1.5 times bigger than coway.
I think I had seen one how Haven't checked with the size of the filter till now, however cuckoo is an international brand and pretty much well established brand as well. I have been using their reapure for almost 4 months and it's working as it should be. H13 Filter has become a bit off white in color but it is still doing its job. Note I live in a place where there is tooihc dust due to main road nearby.
I don't have an AQI monitor with me, I do feel the air is more breathable than before. Earlier when I got the filter I was using it full 24x7, but now since last 1 week I am switching it on only when I am about to go to sleep and switch it off after I wake up. As I have mentioned earlier I stay in a place where there is constant flow of dust due to the positioning of my building. During Diwali it was running 24x7 as the air quality was really bad around that time, I have a dog she isn't scared of the loud bangs but she can't handle the pollution. Last year she was having loads allergic reaction to the smoke however this year she was totally fine and enjoying the fireworks from inside the house On an average it takes about 15-20 mins to get the AQI under 50 in the room where the filter is placed. I move the filter whenever I need it in another room.
Whenever I switch on the filter it shows red and takes almost 15 mins to go to blue, which means the AQI us under 50. Note this is inside my bedroom which is closed when I am off to sleep. 1435 sq ft is my room size. I am happy with my purchase, til now inhavent had any issue with it, I'll update when I'll change my filter. I have been using it almost 24x7 for more than 3 months and now I only use it when I am in my bedroom which is almost 12-15 hours a day.
GTowners! I’m a , a long-time air quality nerd and parent who’s been navigating Delhi-NCR’s pollution season with a lineup of air purifiers that’s grown over the years. If you’re wondering which purifier actually works, how filters hold up, or what’s worth your money—ask away! Here’s my 7-year journey: 🌀 Philips AC1215/17 (x2 units) • My first love in air purification. Reliable, quiet, and decent CADR for bedrooms. • Filter life is solid, but performance dips in peak pollution unless you double up. • Still running after 7 years with regular maintenance. Although some electronics malfunctions are cropping up. 🌪️ Sharp F40 • Japanese build quality, plasma cluster tech. • Great for medium rooms, but filter replacements can be pricey and less accessible. • Slightly noisier than Philips but feels more “active” in cleaning. 🌬️ Coway Airmega 150 • Sleek, compact, and surprisingly powerful. • Filter replacement is easy and affordable. • Ideal for nursery or study—used this during my child’s early years. 💨 Cuckoo Respure • Korean brand with a medical-grade HEPA filter. • high CADR and Bigger filters are a plus. • great for living rooms. I’ve used these across seasons, room sizes, and pollution spikes (hello, Diwali and crop burning). I’ve also tracked PM2.5 levels with external monitors to compare real-world performance. Whether you’re buying your first purifier or upgrading, I’m happy to share insights on: • Filter costs and longevity • Noise levels and sleep compatibility • Child-safe usage and placement • Maintenance hacks and DIY filter cleaning • What actually works in Indian pollution AMA!
Cuckoo has more cadr. Coway had a good cadr too My sharp model didn’t have a pm2.5 sensor but. Pm10 sensor. But it filters well. Somehow Philips have been decent but I’m not happy with the way the repair just recommends pcb change for any errors that the electronics throw Also stay away from Qubo. Horrible customer support and build quality. Any specific question? Please feel free to ask
Been using cuckoo respure. If you are not a stickler for numerical pm display, go with cuckoo else MI
Mine goes to sky blue and even dark blue at night when room is closed
i have coway sharp philips cuckoo If its your first purifier go for philips. Else cuckoo coway are good too. Sharp is also good but its sub 10K models dont have a pm2.5 sensor so you wont know whats going on.
