Cuckoo - CAC-IO510FW

Don't hate on Cuckoo - it is a very reputable S. Korean brand. They make the best high-tech rice cookers around! Their air purifier units have been around for years, so they are a reliable brand. I have the Cuckoo from Costco and it has been great for dorm use. I originally wanted the Winix C610 but for some strange reason that particular Costco would not ship to the warehouse, and Costco refused to deliver to my college! It is super quiet, quieter than the piece of garbage and overpriced Dyson that is acting all weird after 8 months of use. The Cuckoo sensor is not as good as the Dyson or the Winex 5500. So, you will have to cycle it manually once in a while. Once you do that, it works well in sensing when the room air is clean. I can only assume that it has a poorly placed sensor or a bad algorithm when compared to the others that are 3 to 5 times the price.

I'm thinking to order the xiaomi 4 lite one. There's also coway 150 and cuckoo, philips in consideration. The cuckoo has a washable pre filter which is a good thing to extend filter life. Philips filters have a greater no of hours mentioned in filter life.

Go for cuckoo its better than both , but if you wanna choose between these 2 go for coway

i have coway sharp philips cuckoo If its your first purifier go for philips. Else cuckoo coway are good too. Sharp is also good but its sub 10K models dont have a pm2.5 sensor so you wont know whats going on.

Cuckoo is even better than coway

Cuckoo is good...huge hepa filter.. Bldc motor for the fan...best quality with low cost due to low marketing expenditure...never buy round shaped filters .

Cuckoo Budget friendly and does the job well.

I got cuckoo as my first air purifier. So far kids are feeling better, now want to get a second one. O don't have a point of comparison but was thinking cuckoo vs coway. What do you think?

Like he said, the filters are easily available for Cuckoo and it is cheap too. The brands you mentioned aren't that great and their filters are expensive too.

It's recent reviews till page 6 are really good (I don't check all of the pages) that is what I look for when buying any product from Amazon. And there will be fault with all the products even iPhones and Macs have negative reviews. He was looking for something value for money, he got it and he is pretty happy about it.
