I just purchased a used HP02 in blue because I liked the look of it better than anything they currently sell (which is seriously lacking in color ways and I also don’t like the obvious ‘panel gap’ where air comes out in the new models). I’ll have to see how well it functions, but I did appreciate not paying full price

As long as using the remote control is fine with you it’s a good deal. But I only like the HP02 since it has app control. Anything after HP02 they don’t let you control the heat with the app which sucks

I second these. We made them for my pottery studio in the basement and for the area with the cat box first. We literally cannot smell the cat box at all now- until it’s time to change the filters! They work really well for their purpose and I’d recommend at least trying it since it’s going to be a lot cheaper. We also have two dysons- they’re heat and cool with an air purifier- and not only do they not seems to do much of anything to the air, they also have expensive filters and get mad when you use an off brand one. (They are absolutely awesome for temperature control in a 100 year old house, though.)

r/BuyItForLife • Mega allergy sufferer, what's the best damn industrial air purifier I can possibly get? I just need it for a small apartment, but I don't care, I suffer so badly that I'll blow $1k if I have to clean every molecule from my sleeping environment. ->

Yes I have two and sold a third. I also have a Molekule but prefer the Dyson especially since it’s easy to transport when I travel and the remote comes in handy to not have to use WiFi when traveling. The fact it has heat and cool too just make it a win win!

I’ve been using Dyson (wifi) with Homebridge and it’s been reliable. Most of the parameters does sync and work with HomeKit automation.

I have a Dyson, BlueAir, and Levoit in various areas of the house. Levoit is near the litter box and is loud but does a good job - we never smell the litter box. Our favorite is the BlueAir in our bedroom - we keep it on auto mode 24/7. It’s super quiet and seems to work well. The Dyson is our most expensive one and we would probably not buy again. We like that it’s also a fan when it’s warm, but it doesn’t perform any better than the BlueAir which was a fraction of the cost.
