I’ve been using Dyson (wifi) with Homebridge and it’s been reliable. Most of the parameters does sync and work with HomeKit automation.
r/homebridge • Best Homebridge/HomeKit Smart Air Purifiers? ->Dyson Pure Hot + Cool Link. I think it’s from 2016? The filters are a continuing cost but overall very happy with it.
r/BuyItForLife • Avoid Dyson fan/air purifiers ->I just purchased a used HP02 in blue because I liked the look of it better than anything they currently sell (which is seriously lacking in color ways and I also don’t like the obvious ‘panel gap’ where air comes out in the new models). I’ll have to see how well it functions, but I did appreciate not paying full price
r/dyson • Advice - is this worth it? ->i splurged and got the dyson air purifier that also works as a fan and space heater. personally, it was well worth the investment. i'm able to monitor the air quality, humidify and temperature in my home through an app.
r/TwinCities • Air Purifiers Worth it? ->Yes I have two and sold a third. I also have a Molekule but prefer the Dyson especially since it’s easy to transport when I travel and the remote comes in handy to not have to use WiFi when traveling. The fact it has heat and cool too just make it a win win!
r/dyson • Advice - is this worth it? ->As long as using the remote control is fine with you it’s a good deal. But I only like the HP02 since it has app control. Anything after HP02 they don’t let you control the heat with the app which sucks
r/dyson • Advice - is this worth it? ->Just never buy from blue air directly. They won’t help up if a package is lost. I’ve used a few other smart purifiers. The Dyson ones suck at dust and the smart part works with Alexa and google home only and it’s very buggy. It needs to be reconnected often. Just got a lg 360 and it’s good other than the wifi module in the unit. It loses connection frequently and also is limited to their app. It briefly worked in Alexa and google home but often non responsive. It does have built in air quality sensor though. We also had a blue air sense model several years ago. That was one of their first smart models. It had to get WiFi reset about once a year and didn’t support a lot of integrations. Eventually the WiFi module failed on it. We have business grade wifi (Cisco Meraki mr56 x 2 APs). so it’s not like budget consumer WiFi routers.
r/AirPurifiers • In need of smart air purifiers ->I got one of the Dyson ones that oscillates. It's amazing.
r/dubai • Air purifier recommendations? ->First, any premium item with that big of a discount is usually "worth it". Secondly. The Hot/Cool work great. Bought my first about 6 years ago when it was called the HP02 Link model one of the first to use wifi/app. The HP02 saved us during a freeze with no power for days...hooked it up to the portable generator to keep our room warm. Then we decided to add another Hot/Cool 4 years ago HP04. We also have a Pure Cool. No issues on any, just regular maintenance like changing filters. We are happy with them all and the app to control and review data. I think the AM models don't have wifi/app capability...I was researching them recently to add another hot/cool.
r/dyson • Advice - is this worth it? ->Same, been brilliant so far.
